I didn't get my 6+ plus today. 9/11 11:55PM order date. No email, no tracking number. It kept showing me 10/2-10/13 ship date. However, I just checked the status few mins ago & it showed 9/19 as ship date, FEDEX carrier with no tracking number!

And AT&T will not let me because my order says preparing to ship. It has said that for an entire week, and I still have a shipping date of 10/2-10/13. They are holding me hostage for the next two weeks. I am going to the nearest store tomorrow and raising hell.

Do what ya got to do, but just know that does absolutely nothing but create a negative situation for a rep(and probably other customers who have to wait for you to finish "raising hell") who is already working his/her ass off this weekend. I work at a corporate store and I check this thread hourly as I am in the same boat as all of you (ordered within 5 mins of site opening and sitting in 10/2 purgatory) and we are clueless about in store stock coming in and have ZERO information or capability to find out about online pre orders.

i've been following this thread from the beginning, and i'm just done. no door tag today, no notifications, and at&t's $hi**y site still shows the same status.... 10/2, preparing to ship, blah blah blah bull$hi*.

no motivation to keep up on here... it didn't come today, and Lord knows if it will come next week or even the week after that. AT&T royally f*cked us over in my opinion, where only a select few got their 6+ today and the rest are left with absolutely meaningless, useless preorders that have locked us in to their trap (OK not literally "meaningless", but you know what I mean... right now, it just feels that way).

if they didn't intend on shipping any pre-orders at launch, they should NOT have taken orders on midnight that night, claiming it was a true pre-order. absolute garbage.

Get some sleep folks. If you didn't get your phone today, it's in AT&T limbo. Let's all do ourselves a favor and just wait for a confirmation e-mail or text to notify us that our 6+ is on its way, or cancel the order altogether to end this AT&T madness.

I'm pretty bitter not seeing any attempt at delivery today, and AT&T's reps' responses. Horrendous customer service. Definitely that last physical product I purchase from AT&T.
Well put. I agree. I don't know what to do. So tempted to go for the smaller phone. Gasp.
 
It'll Help Someone

I pre-ordered a 64GB Space Gray for me and a 64GB Gold for my wife. Shipping dates were in November, but has been 10/2-10/13 since earlier this week. No change.

We stopped by a local Apple Store, who, as expected, had no 6+ available. My wife saw the 6+ in person and immediately said it was too big. So, we went to Best Buy and saw that they had a 128GB Gold, so I cancelled my order online while we waited our turn in line. Rep activated the new phone with no issues. My wife is now the owner of a brand new, shiny, 128GB iPhone 6.

That means a gold iPhone 6+ 64GB has become available for someone. Hope this makes someone day a little better.

Still waiting on my Space Gray. Key thing we've all learned is to never pre-order from AT&T, and that bacon is still wonderful. Remember guys, BACON. IS. STILL. WONDERFUL.

I'm not planning to be a bitch. But I'm not here to do ATT any favors. I've been a good customer for years, and I deserve better customer service than what I am receiving. There shouldn't be any reason that an order scheduled to ship in two or more weeks can't be canceled.

Stayed up to order at 12am on 9/12...planned on ordering two 6 plus's. One for me and one for my son. Told my son I was going to order mine first and then his. I couldn't get into the Apple site but AT&T's worked. So I went ahead and ordered my 6 plus through AT&T. Then tried to order my son's and couldn't get anywhere trying to order through AT&T's or Apple's site. Over an hour later my son decides to try using his iPhone to order through the Apple Store app and gets right in and orders the plus. His plus arrived at noon today...mine is still preparing to ship on 10/2. :(

Not to mention it's a lie. I've seen a couple people cancel their orders and immedietly have next availability and purchase a phone in store. Maybe it means they are super close to shipping, but I'm trying my luck tomorrow also. We will see what's up in the AM.

I have always done my preorders through ATT and never had any issues... Until this year's unholy mess.
 
No iPhone joy for me today either. As annoyed as I am with AT&T, I am more annoyed with myself. I got my order on the AT&T site ready "just in case" while trying on MacBook, iPad and iPhone to access the Apple store.

I had heard that the 6+ would be in short supply, so I guess I panicked a bit (I was also sleepy - went to bed early and set three alarms for 12:45 so i could be ready to place my order (MDT.) This led to two stupid decisions that I bitterly regret:

1. at 1:05am MDT I submitted my order with AT&T - I really should have known better. I work with AT&T almost every day (less often with the wireless division.) I know damn well they are not to be trust. Stupid

2. About 1 minute after placing my AT&T order (and feeling panicky because no e-mail came through) the Apple store came up on my iPhone. I SHOULD have gone ahead and placed an order - the config I wanted was still showing launch day delivery. Did I do this? No. STUPIDER

Instead I went and checked to see if AT&T had taken approval on my card. They had. I checked my e-mail again. Nothing. I came here and saw that other people hadn't gotten e-mail confirmations either. I found people saying the same thing about iPhone 5 pre-orders.

THEN, about 15 minutes later I decided to order from Apple and cancel with AT&T in the morning. At that point all of the 128 Gbs were showing unavailable. My understanding is that this changed later. And some of those people have the phone I want.

I will probably stick with my preorder at this point - considering the tiny number of 128Gb 6+ models that went out I have to think that there must be more coming.

I will remember this and NEVER NEVER NEVER pre-order from AT&T again. If I make this mistake again, just go ahead and shoot me in the face as I am obviously too stupid to live.

I am waiting for a gold IPHONE6+ 64 gb. Ordered at 11:50 PT on 9/11. In Oct2-13 group. Premier of course.

I'm waiting on 1 gold and 1 silver 64gb. Same group 10/2-10/13 ordered at

3:46am est. I ordered 3 iphone's all together... one 6 and two 6+. I received the

6 today, But no 6+:(.
 
AT&T totally screwed up my order

I began to get concerned on Tueday when my order info on att.com couldn't be found. I had ordered a 6 Plus right when preorders started. Yet my order disappeared from their website whenever I would check. I must have spoke to at least 20 reps who said everything was fine and that my order was in their system. I even got the text saying my order was processed. No one could explain to me why my order wouldn't show on my account on their site. Just a few minutes ago I called AT&T and this rep actually did more digging and found out that whoever processed my order didn't complete the process with running my new credit card (I had to call shortly after preorder because my original card had issues). So the rep never ran the new card and it still used the original card which had insufficient funds....yet at the time I was told the new card went through! The order was just sitting there open with action required from me....YET THEY NEVER CONTACTED ME TO TELL ME THERE WAS ANOTHER ISSUE!

So I gave this rep I was speaking to tonight the correct card info and she ran it and I immediately got a hold put on my account...which I originally never had. Soon after I checked the order status page and there it was....except now it shows my order date as today with an estimated shipping of 11/09-11/27!! Just awesome. Why did I even bother waking up last Friday to preorder? I can't believe its now showing my order date as 9/19. AT&T really screwed up. It's ridiculous how only ONE of the probably 20 different reps I talked to couldnt figure out something was wrong with my order.

So, even though I placed my original order at 3:09 am est last Friday, looks like I have to wait til November. Man I hate AT&T. Do you think there's any chance my shipping dates could move up?
 
Damn man that's brutal. I'd cancel that and take my chances finding one in store. That's what I'm doing and my shipping is Oct 2nd like everybody else.

Oh, geez - is there some reason that you have to order from AT&T? If not I would cancel and order from Apple instead - they are showing 3-4 weeks, and from past experience (other than the white iPhone 4) it usually takes less time than they predict.

I don't have to order through them. I just always did because there was never any problems til this phone. I am just worried if I cancel this there will be some issue with restoring my upgrade eligibility. How soon after canceling does upgrade eligibility get restored because it's showing that my upgrade was already fulfilled and that my contract isnt up until 2016.

I went to an AT&T store today and looked at both phones and I was a little undecided on the size of the Plus. I will probably end up with that one, but my IPhone 5 will do just fine until all of this sorts out.

It's just not worth any more drama to me.

This is wearing down on me, also. Had two A&PII exams last week; staying up late at night looking for order updates instead of studying probably hurt more than hurt. Made an 88 on the first lab practical.

I haven't done it myself, but a lot of posts in this thread indicated that eligibility was restored in a few minutes to a few hours.

Ok good to know. Also how do you cancel a preorder? Can I do it through chat or phone? Don't see any option online to cancel it.

I just did it through Chat and eligibility was restored right then thus allowing me to drop AT&T and port our numbers elsewhere.
 
I didn't work today so was home and hoping that I'd get my plus. When UPS showed up with my son's plus and I open the door the driver said, "Unbelievable, all you geeks are taking the day off from work today...well, it's here...enjoy!" I was caught off guard so just smiled and said, "Thank you...have a good day." :)
