Canceled my order and ordered through Apple and I can pick up my 6 plus from the Apple Store at my local mall today!!! Screw you AT&T!!!!
 
Long version:

Absolutely untrue. Not being able to cancel your order has nothing what so ever to do with the ship date as I have not been able to cancel my order since mere moments after ordering and despite being given numerous different shipping dates from 9/19, to 11/27, and now 10/3. At at each point whether calling, online tech chat, or on the website have I have been instructed that I can not change or cancel my order. I have no phone, no tracking, it is listed as back ordered on the phone, and I have received no other updates since last Sunday.

Short version:

Not being able to cancel does not mean your phone is shipping, or mine would have been here day one.

You're such a negative nelly. How about the fact that in addition to not being able to cancel, I now see a new order number for sim card and the 877 number no longer says back ordered? Gotta think positive my friend.
 
After following this thread from the beginning, I just had to create an account to tell my story. My husband and I own a small business. We have Premier Business Account. I could NOT place my order online on the 12th. I was forced to wait until the call center opened. I placed my order at 7 am and was given a. OCT 13th ship date. Annoyed but understood since I had to wait 4 hours to order.

Fast forward 10 minutes I get my confirmation email. The rep removed my Next status and charged us th 2 year upgrade on the WRONG telephone number!! I immediately called back and was told there was nothing they could do but cancel the order and replace it. I'd then be stuck with a November delivery date. They told me my best option would simply be to activate it on my telephone number when the phone arrives and keep the 2 year. *sigh* ok it's only a few bucks difference overall.

Now the order number I was emailed does not display under my Premier account. In fact if I try to search for it, it simply states 'invalid.' So I call Premier and they tell me there's no order associated with my account. WHAT?!?! I give them the order number I was emailed and get "Oh that's a consumer order!" GRRRRR!!!!!

So I can keep the order but I cannot check the status. I can't cancel because it's not attached to my account and I cannot place a new order because my upgrade has been used. I am sitting here looking at the 6+ IN STOCK at my local apple store and I cannot buy it. I tried to use the other telephone line and apple errors out that it cannot process my account type. So beyond livid. Business accounts are treated like second class citizens.

I woke up this morning to an email from Premier saying my order has been shipped. I ordered 2:53AM EST, received confirmation email at 3:03AM EST for Iphone 6+ 128GB Gold. Initial date was 10/2-10/13 and switched to 10/13-10/22, and back to 10/2-10/13. I wrote multiple emails to CEO and 'Grace' yesterday and seems like it paid off. Phone will be here on Monday.

Don't give up yet!

I woke up this morning to an email from Premier saying my order has been shipped. I ordered 2:53AM EST, received confirmation email at 3:03AM EST for Iphone 6+ 128GB Gold. Initial date was 10/2-10/13 and switched to 10/13-10/22, and back to 10/2-10/13. I wrote multiple emails to CEO and 'Grace' yesterday and seems like it paid off. Phone will be here on Monday.

ATT must be freaking out at the amount of customers that they have screwed and lost forever. I hope so at least.

This gives me hope. I expect mine soon cause this morning I was unable to cancel and now the 877 number doesn't say back ordered anymore. I also see a new order number for the sim card when I check order status. Come on email!!!!
 
Received my tracking number for 6+ 128GB Space Gray. However, after seeing this thing in the Apple Store yesterday, I'll be exchanging it for the regular 6. Photos of the 6+ simply don't do it justice.

Update (in case anyone ever reads this again): After two weeks with the 6+, I decided to keep it. It definitely seemed large at first, but after getting used to the screen size, there's no going back. The 5s and regular 6 now seem way too small in comparison. I've had no issues with bending, fitting it into pockets, etc. I love this phone!

Here the tracking information from Fedex, looks like they used overnight shipping option, so hang in there folks.

AT&T got off easy this time, I was really going to do something crazy if they ****ed me over again. Never want to go through this experience ever again.

Ugh 877 still says my order is on backorder and I don't show any order for a sim card. I hope that's not bad news for me.
 
The Verizon 6+ 64gb is available for store pickup at Palo Alto store.

Also ATT 16GB 6+ is available.

Unfortunately none of store have ATT 64GB 6+ that I need :mad:

Do you mean that the photos make it look smaller than it really is? Is it that big? I already have the Spigen Tough Armor case for this (BTW that case is amazing and Spigen makes awesome cases), and it looks big, but not that big.
 
Of course the phone I want is in stock at the Apple Store... Does anyone know if I get the phone with out the upgrade.. Then cancel my att order, can I go back to Apple and get the upgrade price?

How did you get your tracking number? Did they send you a email or a text?
 
well, they did it! I paid $909 after tax for a full price 64gb SG + and got to the apple store at 8:30am (they opened at 10) and was first in line for pre-order pickup (separate line).

I bought the phone, returned it immediately, and re-purchased on AT&T NEXT. They made the process very easy and I was in the store for about 25-30 minutes but everything went smoothly, no issues with AT&T plan, etc and I walked out with my phone! I'm going to keep checking this forum to see how everyone else makes out. AT&T definitely made this a nightmare for all of us but hopefully my story gives some of you ideas as to how you may get your phone sooner.

I ordered my Silver 6+ 128G at 12:54am MST and I have not had any notification of shipping. I have checked on the Premier site as well as the regular AT&T site. I did call the 877 number and it no longer says backorder. I am afraid to try to cancel my order as my local Apple store has 64G SG in stock. But I think I am going to hold out. FWIW I am in Boise.
