So what are you planning then? As already explained to you by someone who works in a corporate store, the people working in the store A). aren't the ones who made you wait, B). can't give you any additional information, and C). can't do anything to give you a plus or make your order come any faster. So why make them and the other customers listen to your ****?
I've never had anything but great customer service and never gotten anything less than 110% from the store employees.
What you're proposing is not fare to the store employees working their asses off or the customers.
You are not the only one in this boat there were AT LEAST a dozen on line who I knew also had a back ordered 6+ (my self included), and there is at least a store every few miles in my area. None of us made a scene or raised hell.
Do as we did, go to a corporate owned store, play with both models, you might like the 6 (I did), you may not. Then you have to do what the store manager told all of us in the same situation... Basically go play with both phones and decide if you're going to wait for your pre order OR if you like the 6, pick one up in the store (assuming this option is still available at this stage).
