AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

Damn. My local Apple Store have my SG 128GB 6+ and wife's silver 128GB 6+ available for store pickup. Mine already shipped out from ATT with mpnday delivery. Tries to cancel my wife's premier order. Wouldn't let me. Called CSR said can't cancel it's too far along already and sent to warehouse. I order better not be messed up from me trying to cancel.

When you order on apple.com it'll ask if you want to upgrade your line on an AT&T account for a 2 year agreement or NEXT. You have to choose 2 year agreement. It'll check and say you are only eligible for an upgrade at full retail. At checkout my phone was $850 plus tax.

So if I understand correctly, you just got tracking in the last 10 minutes or so?
 
I finally spoke to someone at Apple (not at the store). You cannot reserve for in store pickup if you want to pay full price but you can do so in the store. So, I may try my luck after lunch.

I have the Individual Responsibility thing on my account (Premier discount through school). It let me through just fine. For business users, you probably won't be able to.

No I tried this. For some reason it wouldn't let me. Probably because with my Pending order on AT&T.com/Premier it looked like I just bought one. AT&T's site also said I wasn't eligible for a contract on NEXT even though I never received my phone from them.
 
Does anyone know how often the Apple Store updates their inventory online for in store pickup? Is it a certain time of day? Multiple times a day?

I would like to order for pick up... Go in, cancel my att order and re buy the phone from Apple with upgrade price... But it doesn't seem like it will work out with effing premier
 
I'd say the 877 number is correct. If I call for my wife's gold it says being processed. When I input my number it's still backordered. Mines sg. Both 64 Gb +. Both premier. Ordered mine at 0300 and hers about 0305.

I wish that was the case. Ordered 12:54am MST and still no tracking information.
 
Woke up this morning, att order was still 4 weeks out (late october). Checked apple.com and said 128GB SG 6+ was available. Cancelled ATT order, started order on apple.

When I got to checkout, it said next was not available for store pickup, 3-4 week ship time. So I took a chance and ordered it on 2 year contract.

Went to apple store, told them I bought it on 2 year for pickup today, but wanted to change to next. He said no problem... let's cancel your apple.com order, and resell you the phone on next...

30 min later... walked out with new 128GB SG 6+.

I did it with Premier. I used the original e-mail with the link I received when I ordered, not through the navigation while logged into my account. However, if they're saying you can't cancel, I'm guessing you're soon to get it shipped. I did this with the 2 year commitment about 5 minutes after I cancelled my pre-order.

I had in 2 orders, one just before midnight, the other confirmed at 12:05pm PST. Got ship notices on both this morning. 6+ 128gb SG. Hoping everyone with early pre-orders get there phones. Last night it showed 10/2 - 10/13 like most others.
 
Just picked up 6+! Believe me people, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Cancel and wait for it to be available for pick up at your local Apple Store if you can! I hope everywhere here can get their 6+ soon! Cheers!

In a nutshell, and someone correct me if I'm wrong here: if you have premier that you pay for (so you're probably just getting a corporate account), you can order through Apple. This is called an IRU (individual responsibility...something). On the other hand, if your connection to premier is as a business owner or someone who's company provides their phone/service, you cannot order through Apple. That's called CRU, Customer Responsibility. (Customer in that case being the premier customer or actualy business.)

I'm not sure. I wanted to upgrade at full price. I could do that on A&t before I cancelled my pre order, but on The Apple site it would not allow me to do anything. I got a message saying this line cannot be upgraded and to contact my carrier.

Once I canceled my pre order, I was able to upgrade on the Apple site, but only for under the conditions I mentioned before.

I just went back on At&t and reordered my iPhone plus, a 128gb this time . What's crazy is I'm now back at the same point I was before "preparing for shipment. It's just a couple of weeks later. I'm wondering how fast I will get it vs. if I had just kept my preorder.

I'm with you. Cancelled my att order this morning. ordered my iphone 6+ for pick up, and now i'm using it. ATT is dumb.

My premiere order still says same thing "Preparing to ship" and the 10/2 date range. Order status 877 number still says back order.128gb SG plus. Ordered 10 min prior to pre order opening. Damn you att!
