I am very envious of those folks who found the iPhone model they want at a nearby Apple Store, canceled their AT&T order and picked it up from Apple.

There are NO AT&T iPhone 6 Plus, 128GB, Space Gray units at any Apple Store anywhere near me. In fact, there are none in any color nor are there any 64GB models in any color. (Not that I would consider anything below a 128GB anyway).

This is based on the seaturtle.org grid and my own attempts in the online Apple Store.

I'm still sitting with a 10/02 - 10/13 ship date range. I'm trying to stay optimistic based upon the reports I read here. I'm still hopeful that I'll get an update with a tracking number soon. But I will say it's frustrating to hear that order time is not determining the fulfillment order. Especially since I ordered my 6+ at about 3:15am EDT on Friday 09/12 and I didn't get my "your order has been processed" text until 9:37am Saturday 09/13.

This too shall pass...

I ordered at 3:15 am Edt. iPhone 6 plus 64g
Have a date of 10/02
I can't cancel, because I'm with premier ATT
I also can't order from apple because I'm premier.
Order still processing - and has been since Wed.

Can't wait till the week of 10/02! Gonna be great!

Welp canceled my order though ATT, smartest thing ive ever done, And bought the iphone on the next plan though apple website instead of a late November wait time its saying early October:D and they said if it does not say "shipped" i can go in any apple store if they have it and pick it up!

(6+ space grey 64gb)

I realize that I am in the minority here, but has anyone else on here ordered well sometime during the DAY of Sept 12 (well after the 3 AM launch) and seen any movement on their shipping dates? I ordered around 12:30 PM and my order went through at 1:19 PM. I have not seen any movement and my dates are still 11/09–11/27.

I keep seeing people getting their dates moved up (realizing that they ordered well before me) and some actually shipping for delivery next week. The primary reason that I haven't canceled my order yet is because I want to believe that by ordering on the 12th I still have hope of actually getting it before November AND that if I cancel and reorder through Apple, I won't be all that much better off getting it sooner.

Congrats and good luck to everyone who has seen movement on their orders, however. Fingers crossed for everyone!

I'm an east coast premier customer that received my tracking number this afternoon.

Here's the play-by-play:
  • Ordered iPhone 6+, 64GB, SG @ 2:50am EST, 9/12
  • Received confirmation email at 2:58am, indicating 14-21 business days.
  • Received an email at 5:49am that said my credit card had declined the charge.
  • Later that morning, I got my bank to accept the charges and had to call AT&T to reprocess.
  • Estimated ship date was 11/9
  • Eventually dropped to 10/13
  • Dropped again to [the dreaded] 10/2
  • Received notice this afternoon that it will be delivered on Monday.

I ordered around the same time and my dates have been the same as yours.

Exciting to see so many get good news today. :)

I, however, am still waiting. :(

Ordered 3:15-3:20AM EDT on 9/12 SG 64GB
I'm considered a premier customer.

If they keep getting phones over here tomorrow, I'm starting to think mine might ship by Tuesday. I hope.

I got to see the 6 and 6+ in person today. Awesome. Excited to get mine!

I assume if you buy from apple you get a tracking number, and can track from china.
If you are ATT premier, and get a tracking number, where are those phone being shipped (tracked) from?

Thanks. I want to believe that these absurd November dates are just placeholder times generated by AT&T's horrible ordering system and not at all accurate in terms of how far out they are. With many people showing "early" shipments of their October dates, I hope this is true.

In-store pickup

iMarc845, Just keep constantly checking the availability. They are updated in real-time, and most stores are receiving drop shipments each day. Apple is definitely pumping out these phones. Most of my local stores near Philadelphia, PA didn't start showing unavailable for the more popular 64GB SG 6+ until around 11 a.m. eastern time. The store pickup site went live at 3:00 a.m. eastern time.

Just called the 877 number and I'm still on backorder. Maybe I'll get a little love tomorrow or Monday morning.

I am going to the Apple Store tonight to pick up a case for it. Held a friends Sprint 6 Plus today and boy are those things slippery.

What's this number?

Reading the 190+ pages on this thread paid off for me...

I took the advice from other posts several pages ago after looking on the Apple website and noticing that several local Apple stores had the 6+ in stock. I quickly cancelled my Premier order on the AT&T website (which had a 10/2-10/13 delivery date despite placing my order at 12:06am PT on 9/12) and placed my order on the Apple website for same-day in-store pickup, since it only took 1-2 minutes for my upgrade eligibility to be restored! I'm picking up my 6+ 64GB Space Gray in a few hours.

Lesson learned... order directly from Apple in the future! Apple can also process shared upgrades by selecting the phone which is eligible for the upgrade online, then switching to a different phone on the same mobile share plan at the Apple store. Hope others are able to get their phones sooner this way too.

Following this thread helped but hurt me also. I read how some people canceled their Premier Pre Orders and got phones at the Apple store. I canceled my pre order and could have had the exact phone I wanted but, at an increased price in my mobile share plan, which I didn't want to do.

I'm halfway through a stupid contract and could only upgrade at a partial full price ($649.00) while recommiting to a two-year contract. It's not as easy cancel your plan and just pick up a phone for everyone, unless you want to make some sacrifices.

I'm now stuck at the back of the list again, when I may have had a tracking number by now. I don't blame this forum but the whole American cellular industry. It's truly screwed up IMO. I should have been able to buy a Iphone 6+ full price ($849.00) without a Next or a 2 year agreement. Well, there's my rant.

Congrats to all of you who are getting tracking numbers or able to get a phone at the store.

Yeah there is no way our November dates are accurate. If you order a phone from At&t right now you get the same dates.

yes, and are there really people out there that ordered days after the launch and have gotten there six Plus 64 gigabyte iphones yet?

qnet, I've seen people post how they purchased a t-mobile iPhone 6+ for full retail, and I've been told it works with the AT&T. They're both GSM carriers.

Super bummed that I still haven't received a shipping notice and am still stuck on a 10.2 date.

I've had the order status page auto-refreshing every 10 seconds all afternoon, and I think I am going to let it run all night - just a little bit of extra drain on AT&T's servers.

I know it really won't make a difference, but I'm feeling petty. LOL
