I'd advise against cancelling
I know many on here are canceling and getting thier phones from the att store today but honestly if you waited this long like I have there's no way I'd do that. From what we have seen it looks like everyone should have thier phone this week at the latest. I'd bet almost all by Wednesday. Many are having success doing the cancel and pickup from the Apple store but I've also seen a few horror stories of people trying to do this getting stuck in situations where thier upgrade status still isnt fixed and stuck until Oct. now trying to resolve it. What is the point of taking that risk at this point when from what we have seen we are getting our phones this week and obviously not going to be waiting until 10/2-10/13 like most of our statuses say. I think it made sense right after launch day when it really did seem like we were screwed until Oct. But waiting a few more days won't kill you and the risk of a cancelling nightmare is 0% this way. For god's sake I saw a guy say he went and bought a regular 6 at full price just to have a 6 until his 6+ came in then he would return the 6. Thats beyond ridiculous and sad. The phones are coming. I want mine just as much as anyone but whether I got it Friday or on Wednesday next week really isn't going to make a damn difference in my life.
