So since I ordered on the 12th in the afternoon there is no sight for me getting this phone anytime soon.

Has anyone been to an apple store in the past day or so and seen the 6 plus in stock? If I show up in the morning when they open will i be able to get a phone.

None of the AT&T stores around me have gotten any stock since the 19th.

I'm in a similar position and I've had no luck in the stores. I live 3 blocks from a major Apple store (Georgetown DC), and I checked apple.com last night at 7 (after the store had closed) and it said they had stock available of the ATT SG 64 6+. Then I went an hour before they opened today and the Specialists were saying they had no 6+ models. So, I'm assuming that Apple is not setting aside any units for walk-ins and instead all the 6+ units that a store is getting are being reserved ahead of time.

Trying to get a 6+ without a reservation will be next to impossible for the foreseeable future it seems. At least at my store there was already a line of 20-30 scalpers an hour before the store opened today, with maybe a handful of normal looking people at the end of the line.
 
Everytime I see this it just upsets me more and more.

I am a premiere customer and I have a $40 activation fee.

If you call to complain they will waive it. It was showing on mine too, but the rep I spoke with made a notation on my account. If it shows up on my next billing cycle she said the note she added will give reference for whoever I speak with to remove it.
 
I just talked to Apple on the phone. They said they can do Next in store. You just can't do in store pickup with NEXT.


I don't know of anyone who's had success getting AT&T to cancel their NEXT pre-order though, besides I don't think I'd be willing to take that gamble if I can't do in-store pick up. uuugghhh so frustrating.
 
Ditto. I'm starting to see things that aren't there every time I refresh. I'm like OMG it's preparing to ship, oh wait, it's been doing that for over a week now. Lol
LOL same here I hit refresh once and could have sworn I saw shipped. Blinked then slapped with reality....

Yeah Im in the same boat. I don't want to cancel my order and then have absolutely no luck finding one in a store.
 
Ordered at 11:50 pm PST 9/11 and 11:53 pm PST 9/11. Received confirmations at 12:03 am and 12:06 am PST on 9/12.

Ordered a 6+ 64 gb SG for myself with the first order and a 6+ 16 GB Gold for my wife with the second.

Originally both in the 10/2 - 10/13 range...my wife's slipped too 10/13 - 10/31 and then back to 10/2 - 10/13 before shipping.

Premiere Account (had no idea I was until this debacle) and ordered via Next.

My phone is coming today via FedEx (received notification late Friday night that it was shipping on Saturday 1 night - arriving today).

Just received notification my wife's phone shipped today and will be arriving tomorrow.

We live in Oregon.

Received notification first from FedEx Delivery Manger followed by email from ATT plus text message. Status has been updated on my ATT account.

Signed up to post...have read everything in this forum and refreshed it like crazy.
