AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

I am with you had phones pop up locally at Apple couldn't order fast enough now they are all gone. I even tried to snap up a full priced tmobile...

I am in it for the long haul. I wanted a + before launch I woke up at 3 frikkin am to get a phone on the 19th. Here I am days later still no sign of a phone all I get is some CSR blowing me smoke and a recording telling me its back-ordered. Did i mention yes I am premier and been a customer since 1999.

Done ranting for the moment.
 
I may not be reading the flightaware page right, but it looks like there are 4 planes coming to Alaska and four planes flying out of Alaska to Ky this afternoon and tonight. Is that right?

So that prolly means about 1 or 2 people will get their 6+'s shipped tomorrow....

How can we be told that our items are on backorder when we received an email a week before any were shipped saying that a phone had been reserved for us?

Once I get to a representative they can see my order but for some reason the automated system cannot locate it. I'm not too concerned just curious if I'm the only one.

Yeah. I can only track it online, because the phone system will not find my order that is being delivered to the local ATT store, not my home (I live in an area with addresses that won't validate properly so ATT won't ship to me).

Annoying.

So in other news... Any word of there is a jailbreak for the new iOS? I have had every iPhone from the original to the 4s but decided to go with the Samsung Galaxy S4 instead of the iPhone 5. It was and is a good phone but I miss apple and facetime. The main things I liked about the S4 that I hope the 6+ can do is that on the S4 I could use full version of Microsoft Windows and listen to PowerPoint presentations (I'm in grad school) and I could download free music and videos right to my phone from the browser.

Yes and none of the aircraft heading to AK right now are unloading cargo bound for Russia. It would be ridiculous to send phones through customs in AK only then to turn them around and fly them to Russia/Europe.

You make a good point. I was only referring to what I read in a different forum. But I did check for myself online and there were almost 15 million Pre-orders for the Global launch that begins shipping tomorrow. Who knows at this point. Nothing really has made any sense so I wouldn't doubt it.

But what about this whole pre-order nonsense HASN'T been ridiculous? :)

Exactly!!! But it's all about the $$$. Just like, why have a globally release of the

6+ when they haven't even fulfilled their preorders in the u.s. smfh!

At the very least they can stop taking pre-orders until things get back on track, but blah, who cares right?

One of the funniest things I have seen since posting here. Thanks for the laughs... makes this a little less stressful.

You would think...But Apple has to compete with Samsung's upcoming Note 4 which is now up for preorder and being released very soon.

Just curious - why would they ship to Alaska to send phones to Russia? Russia and China share a border - wouldn't they send them straight to Russia?
 
I am so disappointed all around... In Chicago, same boat as before. "Preparing to ship" with a 10/2 - 10/13 estimate.

Ugh.
 
Aw, man. And I was getting short. Four more weeks and out. Now I'm going to buy it...

...on this rock! It ain't half-fair, man!

I agree though that if I see some smiling bloke pawing at his brand new 6 Plus 128GB SG on the global launch and I have to wait another 10 days for mine I'm going to lose my schpadoinkle on AT&T.
