I am more confused than ever.
First, I ordered my iPhone 6+ 128GB Space Gray phone at 6:00AM Central Time on the 12th from AT&T. Original shipping range was in Mid-November.
Next, I logged on to attwireless.com and noticed that my ship date range had changed twice to late October, then to early October.
Last week, I called AT&T CSR to ask when the device would ship, being assured that it would ship on the 3rd of October and that I should expect delivery midweek.
When I did not get a shipping notification on Friday or Saturday or Sunday, I decided to call them again today and now my shipping window is late October again.
Additionally, I saw a tip on another website that suggests going to the UPS tracking website and entering your phone number in the "Reference Number" (or some such, I can't really remember) field to find additional info. This confused me even further, since it showed a package (with tracking number and everything) shipped from China, with my phone number and ZIP code last Wednesday, which was signed for at my house with a name that is similar to my girlfriend's name.
OK, so I rushed home today to see if any of the unopened packages at home might be my phone, since AT&T still says my phone has not yet shipped. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero.
I am confused, bewildered, and I still have no idea when I can get my phone. My expectations have not been managed at all.
To top it all off, I'm in Dallas, TX and have been without power since Thursday, although it was finally restored around 1:00AM Central Time this morning. It seems everything is delayed and we must all just wait and wait and wait...
Meh.
