Yes, definitely remove that info. Also, they didn't say that all phones would be shipping between those dates. They said that they were all on backorder and that yours was expected to ship between those dates. Not that it really means much to have such a huge span of time as an estimate.

As I said in a previous post, my cousin in corporate said all. Yes the screen shot said mine. I preordered as well on the 12th.

I was hating this screen when mine was preparing to ship for 2 weeks! Now i have the same feeling again!! Dejavu!

I take great offense to being called a liar! Just telling you what my cousin said. If you don't want to believe that fine, but don't be mean about it! I'm in the sMe boat as everyone else. Everyone one hear is hearing different info from different sources. I thought I might as to that with some info from the inside. However since the word liar is now being placed on me I won't be visit this forum anymore.

If you can't spell my name correctly then don't try!

Yeah, even with shipping AT&T managed to screw me.

I know the feeling. They shipped mine FedEx on Friday but for whatever reason, it seems like we are ALL getting "two business day" shipping now instead of the overnight that everyone else got up until this point... So it shipped with Friday's batch but isn't scheduled for delivery until tomorrow. It's in town today. I can't pick it up but they say they should have it to me by 8pm tomorrow.

That's AT&T for you - one last kick in the nads before they finally deliver.

Personally I would be happy if mine came through the postal service. I just want my phone.

My sister's iPhone 6 was also delivered by USPS, which seemed like a cheap move on the part of AT&T. I was also pretty surprised that the phone did not activate automatically when set up. I had to Google it and find an activation website where we typed in her number and so forth. Is that standard for phones bought direct from AT&T? They also managed to remove her unlimited data and texting plan (meaning that she was unable to use any data or text on the new phone at all). They are in the process of fixing that (and have given her temporary plans so she can use the phone in the meantime) but I have not been impressed with any aspect of the experience of ordering from them.

128GB, Gold 6+, 1:45 am 12th CDT

So on AT&T's website it says shipped Oct 3rd, but this just showed up this morning.

I've heard USPS is bad at updating realtime tracking info, is there any chance I can get my phone by Wednesday?

I have had this status in the morning and had the USPS deliver my package later the same day or the next. You never know with them.

If the tracking on the usps site says "shipping info recieved" the USPS does NOT have the phones yet! It has to say: "accepted"

iPhone 6+ 64 GB GRY ordered on 09/12 at 4 pm est and still on backorder on 877. Website says 11/09 to 11/27 shipping. Very disappointed with ATT.

A friend of mine works at UPS... As you can see, not many are actually coming in each day. Ignore his middle fingers...

I guess they need to hand deliver each iPhone to the different trucks, for theft issues, which is why he's upset. haha

I know why its taking so long

Ya'll do realize that APPLE chose to launch in 22 different countries a week AFTER it launched in the USA.

So apple can reach 100% of the demand in one country, or do 10% of demand in 22 countries and keep appetites whet everythwere.

They obviously chose B.

I ordered mine 9/20/14 and ordered a 64gb iphone 6 and a 128gb iphone 6 plus.

Both have november wait times. Ridiculous.

But again, IMHO. This is not an ATT issue. This is an apple issue. They went to launch knowing full well they couldnt meet demand and instead launched it AFTER with another 22 countries with plenty for these other countries.

Agreed. AT&T is part to blame as well, as they could have easily at least stopped taking in pre-orders until the current ones were satisfied, instead, you can still pre-order an iPhone with hopes of getting it by Christmas if that. Yet if you pre-ordered in any number of those 22 countries, the shipping estimates were 7-10 days.

To put it into perspective, I pre-ordered on 09/12 at 3:45 EST, which was 45 minutes after launch went live, and I have a shipping estimate of 10/13 - 10/22 that hasn't budged at all, many of us on here are on the same boat. Last time I pre-order through AT&T.

Yes. it seems other companies squeezed more out of apple than ATT did. However, if we are putting blame somewhere.

Gotta think its something like 90% to apple and 10% to ATT.

I think a big part of the problem is that the iPhone is selling in such huge numbers and in so many places that it's becoming a real logistical problem.

Exactly

Lets say they get 1000 new orders across the 23 countries.

they have to proportion it. so instead of USA getting all 1000 phones. USA gets just 40. And Turkey gets 40 and germany gets 40 etc. on down the line.

So since its split like that, they cant keep up with demand.

But what other choice do they have? Only launch in one country and not in any other? Only launch when 25 million phones are ready? But then thats a huge risk if they dont sell. So they are in a pinch either way.

To me, this is where a "pre-order" should get priority over a phone that happens to be on shelf at an att store somewhere or at an apple store somewhere. that is bs.

We all know that... ;)

Definition of Pre-order

Does anyone else think that ordering on 9/19 or later does not constitute as a pre-order. In that case it wouldn't it just be a regular order?

I appreciate the frustrations a lot of people are having with AT&T and/or Apple over the long wait times but you should have been well aware of the supply constraints if you ordered your phone after its official launch. Many people on this thread ordered on 9/12 (including myself) and have yet to receive any news on when our phones would be delivered. I just don't think you "orderers" (vs. pre-orderers) have as much right to complain as those of us who have been waiting since the 12th for some kind of word on our devices. Its just my personal opinion, however unpopular.
