AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

so annoyed i ordered 9/12 but since they didnt physically process it till 9/17 it shows my order date is 9/17. such bs
had to call 3 times to get it processed
2 in one day
 
Just got shipping notice email USPS with tracking number!
10/2 to 10/13 camp since order
ATT.com 6+ 128gb SG order accepted 3:45ampst 9/12

FWIW, my 9071 order placed on 9/19 never actually said backorder when calling 877. Just "preparing to ship" online, and "your order is being processed" when calling. Oddly, I have a secondary order number (?) that starts with 7223 that is also an option to check on 877 which says backordered. I don't know which one I should be tracking. The 9071 number is what shows up online.

BTW, it is safe to say most 9/12 pre-order 6+ folks have gotten their phones, or at the very least gotten a shipping notification from AT&T?

Definitely not. First time poster, long time lurker. I ordered 6+ 128gb SG at 12:45am PDT and was confirmed at 12:47am PDT and still in the 10/2-10/13 group. Still no new info here. Backordered on 877, out of stock on 866, preparing to ship on the website. Frustration is definitely here as well. I haven't even bothered to contact AT&T after reading all the posts here. I'm definitely happy and slightly jealous for those who have gotten their phones. My wife loves her 6 after she got used to the larger size. Here's to getting it before 2015!

Great! Gives me hope. I ordered the same thing 9/12 at 2:45am central
 
I'm happy to see some people getting shipping and at least switched to processing. I'm still back ordered on a SG 128 that I ordered at 12:56 PDT. Maybe tomorrow.
 
So due to an error on Apple's site, I had to buy a Silver iPhone 6 Plus 128GB through AT&T. Shipping date is listed as 11/13-11/24 haha. Any chance I could possibly get it sooner? :D

iStocknow has it listed as shipping in 7-14 days, but I seriously doubt that's correct.

While it is shameful that people who preordered on launch day still don't have their phones, from the media's perspective it's hard to approach a story like this from any angle other than "iPhone sold out everywhere due to unprecedented demand" which basically is free advertising for Apple.
 
My Story

Well, I joined so I could update everyone on my journey.

I order @ 2:41am CST on the 12th of September an iPhone 6+ 128G SG.

Got a confirmation email @ 2:48am of my order with expected ship date of 14-21 days.

Was sent another email on the 16th of September around 9am CST stating my expected ship date was between Oct. 2nd-13th.

It was in "preparing to ship" mode with that same date range until around 4pm CST today, where it changed to processing.

I got an email stating it had shipped @7:32pm CST from Ft. Worth.

It is being shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Normally things shipped in this way from Ft. Worth take a day to get to my little country home.

Stay positive... there is movement and hopefully a silver lining for us all.

I WILL NEVER PREORDER FROM ATT AGAIN! I only hope someday I can leave them, but unfortunately there is not as good of cell service with the other carriers here... yet. When that day comes I will drop 'em like it's hot!

the girl at CEO office had them ship my phone fri night and it came this
AM USPS priority mail.

good luck activating them when you get it.
a csr said I had the wrong sim and go to a store and get one,
5 min later it came on?

Yeah I got USPS too.. weird thing is that while yours says "Priority Mail", mine says "Priority Mail 2 days".

weirder thing is that, I got my tracking number on 10/3, finally appeared in the system on 10/5, picked up from memphis, TN on 10/6.

Originally, the expected date of delivery said 10/8, 3 hours later, it changed to 10/9. WTF.

how does 4 business days to deliver my phone constitute "2 DAY"?!??!?!??!

anyone having the same issues? should i be calling AT&T or USPS to get it expedited?

The 2 days is because of your "zone" closer to the usps sorting plant, some zones have a 3 day, some 4..
The reason it changed from the 8 to the 9th it was because ATT printed a shipping label and that info went to the USPS database, but the box was not physically acepted at the postal service, when it said "picked up" or "acepted" thats when the clock starts in the USPS.

I ordered at 3:45 am on 12th. 128gb 6+ Space Grey. Was back ordered with 10/2-10/13
Got text and email that it shipped tonight from Ft worth Texas.
Scheduled to arrive Thursday, I am in Louisville, KY.

Thats what I ordered a bit after you, hoping to see mine ship very soon! We are finally making a bit of progress it seems.
