I'm sick of checking flights, I'm sick of checking online status, I'm sick of calling the phone number all I effing want is my damn phone I understand people ordered before me and it's ridiculous that they don't have their phone just so pissed off and frustrated

iPhone 6+ space gray 128 GB ordered 9/15 estimated ship dates 11/09–11/27

When I ordered my phone it clearly had the date to expect delivery. Mine even moved up a week. Didn't you look at your expected delivery date before you ordered?

WELL what happen was I was ready to order it at work around 12:00pm was almost thought the order saw delivery dated of sometime in October got busy ended up ordering at home that night. Not really thinking about that the dates might have changed and seeif how it's a PRE-ORDER. didnt thing a few hours would cause a few weeks delay. Is that good enough for you? Or do i need to explain my feeling more?

Meow. I ordered mine around noon on the 12th and my delivery date is mid-November. I haven't thought about it much. But I'm glad you have high hopes. It's unfortunate that you didn't know this happens every year.

It seems like most of the people in this thread are still waiting on 64s or 128s, but I don't see nearly as many 16s.

I had an AT&T employee tell me the 16s were taking about a week to ship out when I ordered in the store after switching from Verizon (long story) last week, but I'm guessing this is no where near the truth?

Interestingly enough, it seems like idevicechecker and istocknow are showing less AT&T stock at brick and mortar stores than I saw prior to this weekend. Of course that's by no means a scientific analysis, but maybe AT&T put the hammer down on Apple to fulfill existing orders?

Yeah never did I a preorder or an iPhone and I've had one of every gen(ie the 3GS not the 3 4 not 4s) My upgrade always came a month or two after release. went with Next. Guess I know now

Angry order was placed: 03:36 AM CDT September 12, 2014

Apple iPhone 6 Plus - 128GB - Space Gray
Shipping Date: 10/13/14 - 10/22/14

STILL no movement.

Again, why PRE-order.

The 22nd is still over two weeks away. You placed an order and they told you when it would ship.

They made a commitment to a customer by offering a pre-order. Has they set the expectation that ordering 1 hour after the time in a pre-launch would result in my product not arriving for a month after, I would've chosen to do business with someone else. Thats the rub. The expectation was purposely set to imply a pre-order meant you would receive your products earlier than a buyer who did not pre-order.

See my comment above. They set no such expectation. AT&T gave you a shipping date and you could have purchased a different way.

If Att is so hard for many of you to take than move on. I'm unhappy too but I decided to stick it out.

Yes, vote with your dollars. Personally, I'd rather have the launch delayed a week to have more phones ready to immediately ship. Same end result, less negative feelings.

Figured I would come in here and just share whats happening with me.

Ordered iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Grey on September 12 @ 8:30AM EST (Premier Account)
First Confirmation Email/text 3-4Weeks (received on the 12th)
After that the order status pages Showed November dates
Then they updated to October 13-22 and hasn't changed since
Pending Charge is Gone from my Card
Pending shipment, Preorder Processing, Preparing to Ship since the 12th
Calling the 877 number says backordered, hasn't changed either
Talked to a CSR, they first transferred me to another CSR saying they couldn't answer that question, then the next person just told me the October 13-22 dates again

All the Apple stores around me (Northern Virginia / Washington DC Area) have iPhone 6 Pluses 128GB in either Silver or Gold or both Silver and Gold. But I really want an Space Grey One, which the only people carrying those is Target and they are only carrying the 16GB Model.

I Hope everyone gets their devices.

Update:
Still Saying Pending Shipment, Preorder Processing, and Preparing to Ship.
877 Number still says Backordered (10/7 @ 10:42AM EST)
Talked another CSR, The order status CSR first told me they couldnt really help me on my order status then pushed me to someone else. They told me that all they can do is read and navigate the website. They did tell me however that my order was "Processing" not sure if that is an update at all. But for more information call the Premier General Support. Shipment Dates still saying October 13-22. Would hope to be sooner but those dates are approaching. So I will hang on to my order, as no stores around me appear to have the device I want.

Wow, lots of anger and angst going on. I'm annoyed with my order for sure, but the world isn't coming to an end, which is what seem to be making it out to be. That said, if my shipping window passes on by, I may have to revisit this post. :p

But I don't agree that AT&T offering up pre-orders equates to them guaranteeing a phone at (or even right behind) launch. Nowhere did they ever say that, and it shouldn't be on them that everyone is presuming as much. It's almost impossible to plan for this kind of demand. Heck, I remember reading on quite a few sites that the general consensus was that the iPhone 6 offerings were going to flop hard (even AFTER the official announcement)... yet the reality is that it blew everything away.

I'm more inclined to think that Apple just didn't have too many made by the 19th, and is staying quiet letting people point fingers.

I'm still waiting on my 128 6+ SG as a non-premier customer. I got my pre-order in on the 12th at 128a PT. I also did one for my wife (64 6+ Silver) 7 minutes later. Order of events:

- Pre-order 128 6+ SG @ 128a PT for me
- Pre-order 64 6+ Silver @ 135a PT for my wife
- Get an email from AT&T @ 354a PT regarding my order with a ship date range of 10/13 - 10/22
- No email ever came in for my wife's order
- Checking the order status page for the first week after had no changes for me, but my wife's was into the beginning of November
- Both of our ranges updated to 10/2-10/13 when everyone else's did
- On 9/27, we got notification that hers had been shipped, and she received hers on 9/29
- No update on mine at all... 877 says it's on backorder

As someone else said, the 128 6+ SG is elusive!

My director at work also ordered a 128 6+ SG, but he did it on Apple's site at ~9a PT on the 12th, and he just did the T-Mobile purchase (he's an AT&T customer). He got his on 9/25, so I know they exist :)

If everyone is throwing dates out there mine is 10/2 - 10/13 order 2 of 128g gold 6+ same shipping dates mine has been processing since the 20 th and my wife's was back ordered she is getting hers tomorrow :( I just want my phone at this point I don't call the 877 number or check website anymore just waiting on email.

I think a lot of people, myself included, assumed that the initial shipping estimates were either wrong or very conservative. Turns out that was wrong, and I think we can bear some of the responsibility for that. But I also agree that the idea of preordering a week before launch gives you the impression that you're actually going to get the item at launch, and AT&T should've done more to disabuse us of that. I think they were caught off-guard both by the number of orders and the lack of supply.

I was just wondering why you were upset when the clearly listed the dates during the order process.

I know it sucks... I've been waiting too.
Just not sure why people are mad when everyone had dates on their order.

Phones getting delivered out of order..... mad about that... I get.
But having the dates clearly spelled out on the order screen... and in the email..

I know for me, its not that I haven't received my phone yet (although it would be nice). Its more that people who ordered after me, especially recently, have received sooner estimated shipping dates that me. It could all be resolved if AT&T would update their customers on what's going on so there isn't all the speculation. IMHO I think that there is a huge problem with AT&T's handling of the pre-orders and that's why they haven't thus far.

I ordered in store, as for various reasons, I am not able to order through apple or att.com. I was told 2 or 3 weeks for delivery, which I considered very reasonable. It wasn't til I got home that I got the email that says Thanksgiving.

Not everyone ordered online.

Well its been fun but I give up. My 6+ 128GB SG never moved from back-ordered so I went on Apple.com and ordered a 6 128GB SG and received my tracking number the next day. I cancelled my 6+ from ATT premiere today. I don't look at it as a bad thing... I had more time to read/watch reviews and actually talked myself out of even wanting the 6+ Good Luck everyone and hang in there!

I agree completely. They really botched "first come, first serve."

A fellow employee at work ordered two 6+ 16gig sg and one 6.
He ordered after 11am on the 12th. He got all three phones on release day.
That made noooooooooo sense at all.
It did not affect me.. I ordered a 128, but there were oodles of people who ordered 16 WAY before him.

Baffling for sure.

No they sent an approximate ship date AFTER commitment to buy. No one on this entire thread thought they would get their products weeks or months after launch date. To suggest we were all very aware is ridiculous. I'm not sure why your an apologist for att (do you work there?), but, this entire "launch" was a disaster and bordering on scam. Almost 500 pages on this thread alonse of people complaining about not getting the "PRE" order and we are all wrong? Come on.

That's crazy. I also ordered a backup 6+ 128GB SG from apple on 09/23.
My shipping dates are 10/22-10/29.
No tracking number yet...

Oh and btw...this is what they sent me AFTER ordering "Your Apple iPhone 6 Plus – 128GB – Space Gray will ship in 14-21 business days"

And they wont let you cancel?!?!?!

And its beyond that so yes, even the expecation set BY ATT AFTER ordering has now proven to be a lie.

Mine said that too but it is 14-21 business days which is Monday thru Friday which would make it the 13th if you ordered on the 12th

Sorry buddy. But you are completely mistaken.
I posted this on Sept 15th at 11:33 am.
Post number 111. Page 5.

Not to burst any bubbles...

But I'm guessing the dates are correct.

This is my 4th go around with AT&T and iPhone "pre-sales".

The shipping times are always crappy for online and in-store "pre-orders."

It is highly annoying when you are waiting patiently for your order to ship...days....weeks...months....and the people who go to the store on release day start posting pictures of their pretty new iPhones.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
And yes.. it will happen.

AT&T already has your (and my money) in their pockets... So they will use in-stock merchandise to boost sale's reports.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

And for full disclosure....I ordered a 128 6 plus at 3 am for full retail price from the AT&T website.
I have an October 2 + shipping date. :(:(:(:(:(:( It updated a few days ago.

I will also be standing in line at my local AT&T store on the 19th.
I'm covering my bases this go around.:cool::cool::cool:

If everyone is throwing dates out there mine is 10/2 - 10/13 order 2 of 128g gold 6+ same shipping dates mine has been processing since the 20 th and my wife's was back ordered

Same phone 128 6+ Gold ordered 3:24AM CDT 9/12 was processing until 2 weeks ago on online order check, then went to preparing to ship 10/2-10/13 BUT went to Backordered 10 days ago on 866 & 877#

I have two things to add here.....

I pre-ordered every iPhone since pre-orders where possible and got the phones always on launch day, once even 1 day early. So it is reasonable that people expected to get their phone on launch day when they get up at 3AM to order.

Secondly, the way AT&T handled the shipping of these phones is unacceptable.
Many people who ordered within minutes of opening are still waiting for their orders to be delivered while people who ordered much later have their phones already, some even on launch day.

And don't get me started on that it takes 5 days to ship my phone from Memphis to Miami..... One could probably walk in that time :D

Same phone 128 6+ Gold ordered 3:24AM CDT 9/12 was processing until 2 weeks ago on online order check, then went to preparing to ship 10/2-10/13 BUT went to Backordered 10 days ago on 866 & 877#

Knowing my luck you will get yours before me. wife's order at 3:47 mine at 3:02 am
