It's not twisted. If Apple would send phones to AT&T, you would get them from AT&T. They are not sitting on a pile of them just to piss customers off. If Apple prioritizes who gets how many (and they do), it's still an Apple supply issue.
They are not in a hurry to get them to me either.....
Marked my phone shipped last Friday 10/3 and if I am lucky I will get it tomorrow. (it just left Memphis) That's 5 days to ship, after I waited 3 weeks already.
My second order (ordered 9/12 12:20 AM PDT) is still on backorder.....

I still can't believe that some who ordered on 9/12 are still waiting. I wonder now if I had kept my original order would I have my phone by now.

At least they seem to be turning more towards making 6+ to meet the demand.
I don't think there is any catching up in sight with 22 countries ordering them

Again, why PRE-order. Its like when Seinfeld reserves the rental car. Thats why you have a reservation. So theres a car when you get there. Everyone pre-ordered so they would get it. I understand if you preordered like a week later and there was a lot of demand, but, I ordered at 3:36 AM CST??? One would think they would have the stock for the first hour, no?

And if att has 100000 and sprint has 10000 and verizon has 20000. and I"m number 20001 in queue at att. Guess what. Likely that ALL of sprint and verizon get theres filled til me.
Just crazy. They just cant make it a true first come first served basis when all the different hands are the pot stirring and have their hands out.

I dont care what ATT's issues are. They made a commitment to a customer by offering a pre-order. Has they set the expectation that ordering 1 hour after the time in a pre-launch would result in my product not arriving for a month after, I would've chosen to do business with someone else. Thats the rub. The expectation was purposely set to imply a pre-order meant you would receive your products earlier than a buyer who did not pre-order. This was simply a lie to get people to buy from them. Again, I get it if you ordered a week later and demand was beyond forecast. I dont get one hour into it. That smells like false advertising. Outright lying to get you to spend $$ with them. If the expectation was set correctly, no one would be surprised and angry like this thread proves they are.

If Att is so hard for many of you to take than move on. I'm unhappy too but I decided to stick it out. I believe Apple made the misjudgment and ATT got caught up in it. I don't believe Att 100% to blame like some others seem too. I want my Next Plan and my phone. The only thing I use Att is with is my mobile and I love Apple iPhones as well as our Mac and my iPad so I may be irritated but I will still hang in there. The only thing I would change is I wouldn't have preordered. I bet in a couple months we walk into stores and buy off the shelf. At my age of 82 my blind husband and I would not trade our i phone for anything. That is why I am willing to wait although not happily for my upgrade from my 5 to the 6 plus. Hope we all get phones soon.

TBH I don't even track those flights anymore. Last week there must have been in excess of 21 + planes that headed over here, with barely any movement. Who knows what's in them anymore but hard to believe it's full of phones. As of this last week, updates have been trickling in but nothing substantial. Rumor was a big shipment was expected on 10/02, but that date has come and gone and still nothing. Blah, whatev.
Yesterday their was movement but a little later in the morning I believe.

I'm sick of checking flights, I'm sick of checking online status, I'm sick of calling the phone number all I effing want is my damn phone I understand people ordered before me and it's ridiculous that they don't have their phone just so pissed off and frustrated
