Well, I caught the unicorn today: 6+, SG, 128GB, AT&T.

I learned about the iDevice inventory alert at seaturtle.org from this forum last week. I'd been checking pretty frequently to see if any Apple or AT&T stores got this phone in-stock, and thus far the only 128GB 6+ I had seen in-stock was in silver. I signed up for the seaturtle tracker yesterday, then early this morning at 5:00 am I got an email that it was in at my local Apple store. Since my AT&T account is a premier account (although it was not premier at the date of pre-order), I couldn't reserve it online for in-store pickup. It was killing me all morning as inventory alternating between available / unavailable at my local (Denver area) Apple store. I finally bit the bullet, called AT&T and canceled my pre-order, stayed on the line while the rep "reversed my upgrade" and confirmed my NEXT eligibility was instantly restored, then headed out for the Apple store.

I got there right at 10:00, when they open and there was a line 15-20 people deep . I was pretty certain I wasn't getting the unicorn after all, until an Apple Store employee told me they got a huge box of 6+ 128GB in last night, all colors, all carriers. 45 min later I left the store a happy guy with a spiffy (and slippery!) new iPhone 6+ in-hand.

For the record, my original pre-order was placed 6:00am MST on the 12th and my dates were always 10/13-10/22.

I felt as if I was making a good choice not waiting in line at the Apple Store on release date. Now that I've seen this utter disaster of an AT&T pre-order, I'm very disillusioned. AT&T Next plan is worthless if they can't get you the iPhone.

Every time I log onto AT&T's site to check my order it adds insult to injury by offering to double my data plan to the 30 GB plan for $30 more per month, however since I haven't accepted delivery of my iPhone 6 Plus on the Next plan yet, I'm ineligible. :( If I don't have an iPhone 6 Plus before too long, I'll have a new carrier. AT&T should realize that when there are people who are no longer under contract, they may leave.

Yep I will be leaving at the end of my contract.

There goes the theory that they are doing prefills before they are sending to chains.

" huge box of 6+ 128GB in last night, all colors, all carriers." UGH!!!

Yeah, I kind of assumed they got a couple in, which is why I almost didn't even bother going up when I saw the line 20 people deep. Apparently iPhone distribution does NOT work how I seem to think it works. The Apple Store employee was almost giddy about it, coming over just to chat with me in line to see what I was getting. He said this was their first "big" shipment of the 6+ 128GB, far more than they got for launch day.

I've been lurking since pre-orders began so I figured I'd post an update. I ordered 2 6+ SG 64GB on 9/14/14 - reason for doing it so late was an issue with my ATT account - and got the November ship dates. I was getting hopeful early on as I saw some members on this forum have their ship dates pushed up and they were receiving phones. Then it seemed to end.

I got very frustrated with ATT and their lack of communication and decided enough was enough. I signed up for alerts at iStocknow for an Apple store (Bay Street in Emeryville, CA) about 5 minutes away from me.

Yesterday at 4:15PM I got an email from iStocknow saying that the 6+ 64GB SG was in stock at the store I had selected. I dropped everything, grabbed my fiance, and headed over to the store. Cancelled both our ATT pre-orders on the way over, thankfully I had a competent CSR and our upgrade eligibility was renewed immediately.

Entered the Apple store, asked for 2 6+ SG 64GB ATT phones and the sales person was like "we have those?". Anyways, he checked, they did, we both got our phones and couldn't be happier (upgraded in store through ATT Next). One thing that did frustrate me were the amount of scalpers at the store, we witnessed one guy buying 6 (yea, 6!) phones. Pretty ridiculous.

I urge you guys to do the same. Screw ATT and good luck!

Hey guys/gals, I am typing this from my iPhone 6 Plus 128gb SG. They do exist. Delivered today USPS two day service from Fort Worth, TX. I ordered att.com at 3:45amPST 9/12. I am very happy with size, although it will definitely take some getting used to. I received an email from the "ATT office of the President" wanting to discuss the email I sent about all of our shared issues. If I get any real answers in regards to ATT not honoring 1st come 1st serve, I will let you know. I sincerely hope that all of you get your phones quickly.
I have decided to use the HUGE Pelican case for production until I get used to the size.
I want to thank all of you for being apart of this forum. It has really helped communicating with others during the wait.
God bless,
Casey

Maybe they will start shipping to us then doubtful but I can dream right

My wife got hers today I will tell you this guy is flipping jealous right now. Serves me right for when I opened my anniversary gift by mistake. Haha:confused:

I am really starting to believe that they are just not making any of the 6+ 64GB Silver...or am I the only one that ordered one?

I ordered one as well on 9/19 after waiting in line at AT&T for 4 hours. My second closest "local" (still 3+ hours away) Apple Store has some in, I'm just not willing to make that drive.

Are you a premier member? My phone order was confirmed literally 2 hours before you, same configuration and I am still back ordered.
While I haven't seen any 6+ phones outside of demo units and I love the phone, it is really beginning to lose the shine. I used to be excited for the silly thing, and now, if they delay my pre-order beyond the 13th, I'll probably just cancel it and go with something different.
