AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

Mine finally arrived today! FedEx sat on it for an extra day just for fun or I would have had it yesterday. It is SWEET! It took 17 business days to get here as I ordered it before midnight on the 12th. With a lead time like that it should have had my name inscribed in gold on the back. At least I had plenty of time to get my case and screen protector delivered, hell, have had both of them for almost 2 weeks and the case was backordered for a week!
All in all, it's a beautiful phone and worth the wait which I wouldn't have minded so much if I had know it was going to be like that when I ordered. Like every one else who ordered in the middle of the night on the 12th, I expected it to be here on the 19th, not almost 3 weeks later.

Still the same...

Mine still says 11/9 to 11/27; as it has since I ordered it on 9/13. Looking to get a space gray in 64GB. No change.

After 5 days of dealing with the "office of the President" I can confirm on behalf of AT&T, they could care less about you. Just remember that you can go to any local store and get an iPhone when you want it.

You can do next for home delivery online or do next in person instore, but you can't do next online for instore pickup. Makes no sense. I'm not sure about contract online for instore pickup.

You can't reserve for in store pickup with next. What some people have done is bought the phone for retail in order to reserve for in-store pick up. Once there you're able to switch to to the ATT Next plan. A little bit of a hassle but they're able to do it for u there at the apple store.

I am wondering if I can add a line under contract to reserve the phone, cancel my preorder, then go into the store and do att next with my upgrade. I would hate to loose my order again.
 
I had to stop by my friends on my way to work. He got his SG 6+ last night. He ordered from Verizon just before I did with ATT. First time I've held the new one it's lighter than my 4s. I just want my phone, now that ATT is skimping us on shipping there's no way I'm getting it this week. I hate you ATT.
 
I saw in another forum people getting their phones saying that their phones have a manufacturing date of the end of August. I wonder if new production are even shipping out yet? All the planes from China seem to be bringing in empty iPhone 6+ cases no phones.

I preordered my 6 Plus 128gb Space Gray from Apple.com, and it has a manufacture week 37 (September). I received it on 9/25, so someone may indeed be sitting on the AT&T preorders.
 
My wife's 6 (not 6 plus) just announced it shipped.

She has 10/20 to 11/7 dates.

Still waiting on my 6 plus dates are like 11/10-11/27

Both ordered on 9/20.

That Apple is sending stock to the Carriers rather than it's retail stores everyday while Pre-Orders are still waiting weeks later.

The more likely answer is that 6+ stock is just that low.

I felt as if I was making a good choice not waiting in line at the Apple Store on release date. Now that I've seen this utter disaster of an AT&T pre-order, I'm very disillusioned. AT&T Next plan is worthless if they can't get you the iPhone.

Every time I log onto AT&T's site to check my order it adds insult to injury by offering to double my data plan to the 30 GB plan for $30 more per month, however since I haven't accepted delivery of my iPhone 6 Plus on the Next plan yet, I'm ineligible. 🙁 If I don't have an iPhone 6 Plus before too long, I'll have a new carrier. AT&T should realize that when there are people who are no longer under contract, they may leave.

I don't think ATT stores are going to get any till preorders are met. if you are looking for one to get check Apple Stores. they have sg 128g 6+ in jersey if that is what you are looking for?
 
Signed up for next plan when I ordered. My previous data plan I had six months left on and I was given a new plan with next. It is $15.00 a month less than my previous plan and this went into effect immediately. Also my iPhone 5 has no contract now. Any way, I may not like it but I am waiting for my phone. 🙂
 
Doesn't someone on here live in Louisville? Oxmoor Apple Store has 128 SG's in stock. Saw it on istocknow.com and called to confirm. I just can't get myself to drive two hours to get there and they not still have them in stock.

Apple Stores, Targets, Best Buys, etc. don't seem to have received any new AT&T stock since late last week in and around my area.
 
I got that lovely Att email asking how I am enjoying my device today -- you know, the device I (and seemingly most) who have pre-ordered have not yet received lol -- thought people you could use a laugh
