I ordered from apple on 9-30...received an email last week that said thank you for your patience, blah blah blah, we are working on your order and it should be shipped between Oct 21 and Oct 28. I am so getting tired of waiting and seriously looking at the note 4. ugh

just wait until your ship date passes and switched to "backordered" with no new shipping date. That will just make you feel all warm and fuzzy!

I honestly have a hard time believing this. if it were true, it shows a blatant disregard to their own customer base. If it were, true, I will start buying 60 sec commercial spots in my local area (Las Vegas, NV) and I will affect their bottom line,. by thousands if not greater........
Any service oriented company/brand's success is solely based on perception. Regardless of past works (good or bad) IF the general perception of a brand is negative. The survivability of the brand becomes nearly impossible. Any company dealing in service related business, regardless of size is always 72 hrs away from oblivion.

So I'm finally joining in on this thread because I've tried the "be patient" route and went about my days hoping that because I wasn't checking every 5 minutes, my phone would come quicker. And I just can't take it anymore.

Ordered 9/19 (stayed outside AT&T overnight hoping to get the phone from the store directly only to find out that they never even got any 6+ 64gbs)

Current estimate shipping dates 11/9-11/27.
I can't take this wait any longer. I currently have the 4s and it refuses to play audio anymore for videos. I can get calls just fine, but any videos on fbook, insta, youtube, or music from pandora or spotify wont play.
AND it will all of a sudden shut off when I'm at 38% battery life saying I need to plug it in. I'm so over this!!

Try using a dry toothbrush to clean the dock I have a 4s too and I lose audio from time to time and this fix worked for me.
Whatl? Ordered my 128gb SG+ on 9/12 at 8:47 AM EDT and my shipping window is 10/13-10/22. Just checked, it is still back ordered.

I tried this and it didn't work. Occasionally it will play audio for a few seconds and sometimes minutes, but it always stops playing, even though it shows that the music keeps going. That's why I'm hoping I will get my new phone so I won't have to deal with it anymore. Thanks for the tip though!

Looking at the awesome list Tuttle05 has put together it does look like most of the orders are being sent out in the order they were received. It's too common for people to post on forums just to see what type of responses they can receive. If the time is listed, then that person ordered on the 12th, otherwise the day they ordered is listed.
If you're going to buy 60 second commercial spots, just look for an unlocked phone at full retail

Me too. I spoke with the retention dept this morning to get the double data deal, right off the bat the rep said she was sorry that my phone got back ordered. She mentioned that she got a memo this morning about the end of the 10/13-10/22 window.

As a 10/1 order I checked and nope motion yet for me I'm still Backordered on the 877# and pending shipment in the website. If he ordered that date I would hope I would have seen something. But nothing yet. Come on AT&T this is getting stupid
I live in eastern pa and got my phone. The one CSR I talked to told me I was 3.6m in line and I ordered on the 12th at 3:02am
