Welp- my status changed sometime last night

I woke up this morning and (as has become my habit) checked my checking account. And there it was, the charge for my phone!
Called 877, it was processing! Still no email/tracking number, but it does appear the wait is about to end.

I ordered a SG 128 at 6:30 central on 9/12 through the att website.
 
I had ordered two phones at the same time from a B&M corporate location:

Ordered 9/17 4PM West Coast

6 64G SG - 10/20 - 11/07
6+ 128G SG - 11/09 - 11/27


The 6 was shipped 10/7. No change on the 6+ "Preparing to Ship" on the website and "Back ordered" on the 877#
 
so all 16s and 128s going out the past few days. Maybe they didn't get around to those pallets of 64gb boxes yet :)
 
Like most people here I've been checking the status on the 877# since I ordered on 9/12. I've always gotten the processing responses.

This morning it changed...but not exactly a good change.

"We're sorry, we're unable to locate your order"

My order still shows up on all the online portals (premier and normal check wireless order status). Anyone seen this before?
 
Status Update - Last night I posted that I had had a great conversation with a CSR that let me know the Grey were having a supply chain issue from Apple and that most of the 13 - 22 window orders would be filled within 24 to 48 hours. He apologized for the delay and was empathetic to the wait. This morning status change from Backordered to Processed !!.... Here is my 2 cents. If your shipping window is November 12 - 22nd or whatever Plan to wait till the 22nd. If it doesn't ship call and be polite, and you will get a real answer. I have seen in this thread many people using the words ridiculous, unacceptable etc with dates that are a month or 2 from now because they just ordered last week. The reality is its the most popular consumer electronic in the current market, demand was unprecedented supply was short, and the companies ARE providing information they are giving a shipping window and updating if they are going to miss that window. Getting frustrated, running to another carrier continuously cancelling and reinstating an order only adds to the complexity. Just because you don't like the answer doesn't mean it isn't the truth. (all of the above I know easy to say now that I am processed and out of Backorder hell)

stay strong it seems the shipping estimates may be off by a day or 2 but they are close.

will update again once I have tracking info so you can update the list

If you call again, does it fail again? I think some people said they got that before and it corrected itself. I suspect the phone automation system is just wonky sometimes.
 
New to the forum, saw the movement some of y'all are (finally) receiving so I called 877#, still on backorder....:(

6+ SG 16GB ordered on 9/18.

The odd thing with my 877# message update is that it started to say the ship range too, which is 10/13~10/22 along with "processing" - which of course is in the past.

Did you other guys get the dragon lady saying that too?

Same thing happened to me this morning, ATT website went from back-order again to preparing to ship, 877 b.... lady went from back-order to being processed with ship date 10/13-10/22!
 
Checked this morning and I'm processing on 877-782-8870!
128 SG + 9/12 8AM CST online order.

My 128 Gold has still not shown up but should be here today. It was sent FedEx two day so they just sat on it at FedEx. Shipped Memphis to Memphis and the sorting facility is about 12 miles from my office. Pickup was at 9PM on 10/21.

update

OK now mine changed from "backordered" back to "preparing to ship" with my original ship dates of 10/13-10/22. I spoke with customer service more than once yesterday who kept telling me they could not give me any more information. As I was on the phone with the rep last night her supervisor told her they just got a shipment in from Apple and would be sending mine (as well as others) out. Hopefully some of us will get our phones!

BTW, I ordered a 6 plus, SG, 128 GB on 9/12 at 5:57 CST.

After all the good news I called #877 (as ever day), but today I was shocked to hear a different message. "Your order is in process" - I was so exceeded, but the next sentence brought me back to earth - "your order will be shipped between 11/9-11/27" :(

so this morning I was doing some online banking and noticed that att charged my account this morning! YAYY! I am assuming this means my phone and tracking number will soon follow?

Just yesterday (which was the last day of my original shipping window 10/13-10/22) it went from in process to backordered and then this morning I see this charge..I went back to check online and backordered has changed back to preparing to ship!!

I hope to see a tracking number this afternoon or an email or something!!:D:D:D:eek:

This sounds promising for so many of us 9/12ers! WHOO HOO!!

Just out of curiosity did this occur today or last night? I was just wondering if they are already sending them out this morning. It seems that up until now we don't see much movement until about 3PM CST each day.

In need of advice.

So I preordered my phone on the 12th. The card I used to purchase was compromised and I tried for two days to get a hold of someone that could help me change the card number. Well of course yesterday I checked my order status and it said canceled. They tried processing the now compromised card. I had to re order and start the process over again. I tried calling again after two hours on the phone I still never had a chance to talk to a supervisor. This is ridiculous. Now my expected ship date is December 2nd. Does anyone have any advice for the broken hearted?

So excited for you all, I have been watching your all's group (10/13-10/22) looking for movement as I ordered in store as soon as my store opened on the 12th 9AM CST. I was literarlly the first person in the door that morning and my ship window is 10/31-11/11. I've also noticed that there doesn't seem to be any shipping windows from 10/23-10/30. Now that most of you all are starting to see movement I will hopefully hear something soon.
