How long did it take after you cancel an order for your upgrade eligibility to return? I canceled last night and I got an email saying it was canceled but, the order status page still shows it active.

Don't let this experience deter you from using iOS. Regardless of the fiasco with AT$T the iPhone is still a great device. Just order from Apple next time, like the rest of us should.

I guess the biggest problem I (as most people) have with the whole thing is just the INSANE uncertainty. There are people who are 2 weeks past their ship date with no phone in sight, and people getting their phones 2 weeks before their ship date. As someone with a ship date between 11/28-12/9, it is ridiculous not knowing if my phone will be here in 2 weeks or if I'll be waiting until Christmas before it comes. Granted I haven't been waiting that long, but for the people who ordered a month ago, sweet Jesus. Also based on a general trend, people with 16 and 128 GB's seem to be getting them earlier, but this is still ridiculously unfair to anyone who ordered a 64GB, especially if they ordered it in freaking SEPTEMBER!

it seems like there has been almost no movement on 64s. I can't help but wonder why.

interesting. the order for my wifes gold 64 was pushed out to Oct 28-Nov 14 yesterday.

Never again will I preorder from ATT, lesson learned.
That's not right!
There were 14 stores that had the Gold 64. I was surprised to see this.
Believe it or not just had a great conversation with a CSR at AT&T. Apparently the Gold and Silver arrived today and they are processing a lot of orders as we speak and that those orders should process tonight ontime for the 13 - 22 window. Those of us on the Space Grey list.... They are having a very difficult time getting the supply from Apple that they need to be meeting the original shipping estimates. They have been told by Apple that they are inbound and most if not all of the Oct 13 - 22 orders will ship in the next 24 to 48 hours. Everyone hold your breath !!

Although encouraging, I think I'll remain skeptical so as not to be disappointed.
Agreed, he also was clear that If I found it locally they would be happy to at this point cancel my order so I could buy it then and there. From this particular CSR I think the supply chain breakdown is on Apple's side and AT&T are just as frustrated as we are. (this CSR was anyway)
I checked istock 3 hours ago and there was nothing. I see some silver 64s as well as the gold too. Maybe a good sign.. maybe

Ordered from apple this afternoon with tracking number as of now!
apple blew their wad of SG's. Foxconn is now under lock and key pumping out 20 million Chinese orders...

Why are you saying he is in the right post... He ordered from APPLE.COM. we are trying to keep a list of those of us that ordered from AT&T directly.
Hmmm... my bad if that is true... however, I have seen many people commenting on here for weeks about their orders through Apple. I personally welcome all commenters but that's just me trying to pass the waiting time with order stories. carry on. puffpuffpass
