What was your order date and time? Also I'm developing a theory that ATT divides shipping up into regions so that the coasts can't eat up all the preorder inventory for the country so could you also please state which area you are in using this map. Image

They're in stock in every mall by me

I called a CSR and they said they're not in stock. It must be the apple store

I'm a call the store directly when they open at 10.

I'm a really terrible complainer btw. I sent an email to Stephenson though. And threatened to switch to tmobile last night to a chat CSR

Ordered 128 GB Silver 6+ on 9/20 (Southwest Region) -- Processing

Folks:

I've been lurking on here (and posting on occasion) for a few weeks and woke up this morning to 7 e-mails from istocknow.com informing me that there are literally 128 6+ silver iPhones at one of the Apple stores in San Antonio, TX. Yesterday, I received similar e-mails about that same information. With that intel, I decided to see if that meant that a large number of 128 Silver 6+ are going out to the Southwest region. So, then I went straight to the wireless order status on AT&T and it showed me the same "preparing to ship" status it has since 9/20. So, then I log onto my bank account and they showed an AT&T debit from AT&T K004 9966 ES BETHLEHEM PA. Then, I proceeded to call AT&T 877 number and sure enough, my order is processing.

Here is my info: Placed order on AT&T website and tried their Next plan on 9/20 with estimated shipping dates of 10/29-11/7. My contract with AT&T was actually expired for 2 years, and I still have my 4 (prehistoric, I know). I've always paid for the phone outright, and signing up with Next made me a little nervous as I feared it might put me on some sort of "low priority list" for shipment. I also live in San Antonio, TX and was convinced this was a unicorn of a phone. Anyway, I am frustrated because I am going to be in San Francisco for several days and it seems this phone might ship early or perhaps "on time" so.......

For those of you who have had processed orders, how soon was your item shipped once your status changed to processing? Again, I was pretty patient all along and still have my old 4 for Pete's sake (lol), so my advice for you is to hang on to your orders -- the 128 Silver 6+ is coming in this cycle to those who likely ordered in mid-late September.

Thought I would share!

Is it possible to cancel my AT&T order if it is still on back order? The website says no, but I'm wondering if I can call a number? The Apple Store near me has a lot of IP6+ in stock and I'd really like to get one today. Also, will my 2 year upgrade be reset automatically? Thanks!

Happy for you, but really??!! WTF. What is with this? I certainly understand that they have to organize their business in a way that works for them and is most cost effective.....but this is just ridiculous. I ordered on the 19th and still haven't gotten mine, but I know there are people who ordered on the 12th, that haven't gotten theirs too. And the answers that are floating around are just not good enough.

With the different models and colors, there are tons of configurations. Seems you have the worst configuration for supply. 64gb plus SG is rarest for some reason. I'm not defending AT&T or Apple. Just stating facts based in the 5 forums I have been trolling.

I feel you bro. I don't understand this. And the CSRs are like oh just wait. It won't be long. **** that. I want to riot

Seeing people who ordered after me with shipping estimates after mine get shipping notifications.

ATT. If you were a person I'd b*tch slap you.

no sure if this will help you or not, southeast. cancelled my order with att today and picked up my phone at apple store in augusta ga, southeast area. rep said they are getting a lot of people driving up from Miami to get phones. as i have been watch fl. not much has been sent to apple stores in fl. some 16 and 64 but very few 128 and they are gone in a second.
I know you are doing just att. but seen none from att in my state and not much from apple. might make a point. Charleston sc and georga do not seem to have the same large shortage as fl. of att iphones, sprint is plentiful.

I drive 2 hours to Miami last night and 2 hours back home after att canceled my order and picked up a 64 gb 6 plus

In the confirmation email from ATT premier there is a order status link that takes me to a website that has a button to cancel. You should be able to call and cancel though.
I didn't cancel att canceled it. I have read you can cancel by calling 611

Exactly! There are many variables to consider (e.g. region, color, size, storage). I definitely feel for those who ordered on 9/12 . The 9/12 orders should have been fulfilled FIRST -- not those of us who ordered on 9/20 like me and so on. One of my former students works at one of the AT&T stores and he said that the SG 64 in 6/6+ is what the "walk-ins" ask for all of the time and the demand is quite evident in reading the responses from everyone on here who has ordered SG. It seems like no one ordered the 128 GB Silver 6+, or at least not from what I am seeing. While I am surprised that the phone I ordered on 9/20 is actually coming before or on the first day of my ship window of 10/29-11/7, part of me isn't entirely surprised since mine does not seem to have the demand factor of the others.

Just order from apple next time, I am. At least I know I'll get it in 3-4 weeks not 6.

As for everyone wanting to cancel, I mean c'mon it's been 6 weeks, 1 or 2 weeks is not going to kill anyone.
And if it is, you have more underlying issues... It's a phone, not the holy grail!

I totally agree with you. I ordered 6+64 SG on 09/12 and people ordered 10 days after my order and they already got their phones from ATT. Ridiculous.

Wow! My 6+ 128 Gold (1:13am PST placed 9/12) has shipped. I have a FedEx tracking number with delivery set for Tuesday. (I'll still believe it when I see it.)

It only took six weeks to the day since I placed the preorder. The timing is interesting though. I received one of those text surveys from AT&T this morning.

Of course I said no! I wouldn't recommend AT&T to anyone let alone my friends and family. And at the end of the survey I stated flatly that I was very, very disappointed with them.

Because I found the survey so irritatingly patronizing, I decided to call AT&T billing CS and ask to have the $40 upgrade fee they had already charged waived. I am, as a rule, polite to CS people because I know they have a difficult job & you catch more flies with honey anyway. But this guy started to tell me about my contractual obligations to AT&T - and, I lost my temper. I finally told him just to stop talking and connect me to the retention department. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the retention CS not only waived the upgrade fee but also reduced my monthly bill by $10.

Now, maybe it's coincidence that my phone shipped a scant few hours later, or maybe my threat to dump AT&T for Sprint (taking 3 lines with me) was enough to bump my ship date from 11/9-11/27 - to today. Who knows.

I'll update when I have my phone in hand - and in the meantime, I'll be sending all those still waiting (especially my 9/12 comrades) all the mojo I can muster.

Where was the first place you saw your shipping info after your order processed? Was it from the 877# on an order status website or in an email from AT&T?
