AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

My order status has said preparing to ship since I first ordered it back on September 16. I'm not sure that means anything. My expected ship date is still November 9-27.
 
My credit card was just charged. Called 877 and instead of backorder lady it's now processing.

SG 64 window was 11/9-11/27
Ordered in store 2pm est on 9/12
 
I did almost think about going to target and getting a 16slv they have in stock, but 16gb is just way to small.... But I did actually think about my storage options.
 
welp, we are all a couple tacos short of a combination plate on this thread. My husbands like "um, why? just wait for the email" I got a matrix of facts and figures and he wants me to wait for an email?!?! PFFT!:rolleyes:

Called again. Just for the complete destruction of my sanity. Both still on backorder. Assbags. Shipping window starts tomorrow.
 
I have the silver activated and etc. I emailed the executive offices at 1:30 this afternoon, had a call by 4, and she called me with the miraculous finding at 5:30. The store's position is that USPS lied about delivering it on Saturday, and it didn't show up til this afternoon. I call BS, but whatever. I have it.

The SG still hasn't shipped.

Long Time forum lurker here just getting more upset as no phone showed up and seeing all the issues. Ordered a SG 128GB 6+ On 9/12 around 3PM eastern time at a local att store via next which has an estimated ship date of 11/9-11/27.

Just got a notification my card was charged by Att and decided to call and the very annoying automated demon spawn finally went from back ordered to processing.

Big sigh of relief in movement and hope to have a new phone in my hands soon.
 
AT&T charged my CC for both phones. Still saying backordered but hoping for more updates by the morning

Edit: phone lady said processing!! Hoping I get it Fri or Sat!!

I think the "mystery" behind this was answered when someone not long ago said that it has to do with where you ordered from, basically you get assigned a warehouse based on where you ordered and how. So my guess would be that your shipping estimates have to do with what warehouse you are assigned and how long the wait there is. Also, as we all have seen, this doesn't mean you are going to get your phone after he/she does.

Not necessarily. I went to an AT&T store 10/3 to do the family share 30gb offer and ordered 2 iPhone 6 64GB one SG and one Silver. The Space Gray was shipped the 10/10 out of Memphis with a USPS 3day delivery to the AT&T store I ordered the phones from. The second phone just shipped today from fort worth TX on a 1 day shipping so I'll get it tomorrow. And my 64GB SG 6 Plus that I ordered on 10/16 still backordered with an shipping window of 11/15-12/05. Ordered was made in store from San Juan PR. So what correlation we can make out of the situation on how they ship the phones, only AT&T knows. And honestly I know they kind of messed up by sending phones to people that ordered later than others, but the whole problem here is Apple not meeting the demand from their customers (wireless companies) so if Apple don't send phones, neither can AT&T
 
I really don't know how accurate http://flightaware.com/live/iphone is, but I checked it last night and this evening. This morning 6 planes flew in from Alaska and 4 to 5 hours ago, 6 more planes departed Alaska and there are 2 more scheduled to depart within the next 3 hours.
Hopefully tomorrow throughout the end of this week, there will be quite a bit of shipments going out from AT&T and many many happy people! :D

Just got the e-mail from ATT. It has been shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air from Ft. Worth. Checking the tracking data, it will be here Thu!

6+ SG 64g ordered 9/12 mid AM from ATT store. Original Ship window 11/9-11/27

Update

Ordered 6+ 64gb SG on 9/12 about 10am EST Premier. I was given the 11/9-11/27 estimated ship dates. To my surprise I got an email today from AT&T saying that my phone finally shipped 10/28 via UPS. I'm not sure what day it will be delivered but I am excited that this LONG wait is almost over.
 
wow-should not have glanced at other threads..people ordering 10/16 already have their phones, gold and silver too. seriously peeved right now:mad::mad::mad:
 
Thanks guys after seeing the new SG 64 shipments on this thread, I've decided to call 877# again and my order has now been changed to 'being processed'!! It's gonna come by UPS but I have yet to get an email notification or tracking # yet, but at least I know it's coming soon! :cool:
