To be honest, none of this has made me "happy". I firmly believe that "first ordered" should be "first shipped".
Obviously this hasn't happened.
I participate in other forums, and have seen literally dozens that have ordered after me and already have phone in hand. Depressing.
I'm not even mad anymore. I will never understand AT&T's process. Nor will i try to.
The only thing i can take from this whole debacle is:

Never order from AT&T!!!!!
 
AT&T will NEVER get an order from me again. And I will do my best to tell everyone I know NEVER to order an iPhone from AT&T ever again, go to a third party vendor (Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc.) or directly to the Apple store.

Sad because I ordered my last couple iPhones from AT&T without an issue.
Their logistics manager must be on vacation for the past 40+ days :p
At this point you kinda have to sit back and laugh at what a joke AT&T is...and it shows.

All I can say to everyone, call in to customer service and demand credits on your account, I got a whole month free plus some so far, and I am not done calling in :)

I haven't called in once. Just participating in forums is enough for me.
I have post's deleted by "moderators" in another forum. So I have calmed down and accepted the situation for what it is.

Lots of stock flooding into Apple Stores for the 6+. Pretty encouraging to see as it seems they're starting to catch up on the crazy demand. Hopefully some of the stock rolling in will make its way into the ATT queues. If I could cancel and go to a store to pick it up I would have by now, haha.

On a separate note... for those going this route, thinking ahead to the 6+s and iPhone 7... this would theoretically push back your upgrade eligibility date for the launches in 2014 and 2015, assuming pre-orders start around the same time, correct?

ios 8 is stupid painful on the 4 no? on my 4s I have to wait 30 secs just to answer the phone or open the camera. I can't copy and paste anything from the web and the good old mystery OTHER storage space has returned.

Don't know why but I have been routing for you as well. :cool: Also pulling for 420! Well, pretty much everyone still waiting but paying attention to you two.

Rocking an iPhone 4, not 4s, a plain old 4 and it's getting tired. Noticing a lot more little issues with it. Getting close to being in the "I NEED my damn phone and NOW!" group.
 
I have been looking for my phone locally, and the closest has been 200+ miles away. So not an option for me.
 
I've seen you on the other forums along with a few others and if anyone here has not read the ATT forums DON'T, or at least prepare yourself for severe depression. People ordering on 10/17 already have their phones. It's ridiculous.:confused:

"That" forum is being monitored. Fact. They are just watching and doing nothing to inform their customers. Very poor customer service. Makes no sense at all. I'm afraid that my deleted post's might have put me on a "make him suffer" list. Time will tell. I have a week for my window to come and go, so gonna wait 'n see how it plays out.
 
Another lurker here. I've been watching this thread for over a month now. Created this account to add to the list with my order and give an update.

I preordered my 6+SG 128gb on 9/17, in a AT&T authorized retailer store located in Iowa. The sales rep was an all around great guy. Before we started the preorder process he was very upfront that the iPhone wouldn't ship until November at the earliest incase I wanted to reconsider. I like to think I'm a patient guy, so we proceeded.

I noticed this week that quite a few orders from the 11/9-11/27 shipment time frame started to get shipping notifications, so on Monday I called the 877 number and it said the order was on backorder.

I decided to call again today and this time the AVMS said the order is now "processing" but then it said that the shipment date was between 11/9 - 11/27 (original shipdates). First time i heard it mention shipping dates on the phone.

However, the general consensus here is that they send out shipping info within 24 hours of it kicking over to processing.

Did anyone else who get their phone early have the same "your phone will ship between" after it said processing? Is that just standard?

I guess, but it's also not surprising since the SG is in the highest demand by far. Apple probably put any extra production priority and capacity to SGs iPhones.

Regarding this, I bought my iPhone 6+ on the 2 year contract pricing on 9/19/14, I actually went on and just checked my eligibility and it says I am eligible to upgrade on 4/20/16 which isn't 24 months from the day I 'ordered' my current upgrade, instead it is 19 months. Now, will that change when I actually get my hands on the phone and activate it, I don't know.

I just called in multiple times, talking to a supervisor and customer relations (cancellations) and told them how unhappy I was and was considering changing to Verizon.
 
Ok, so, today is my delivery date. We normally get an early drop off from FedEx. Today has not been one of those days. Now my boss knows I'm waiting for my phone and keeps taking FedEx boxes and bringing them from the front of the office like we have received a delivery. I'm about to go nuts!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

Have you noticed that there are 15 people that have ordered before you just on this board? Take a pill and check back on Wednesday. When the name before you says shipped, then you can start getting excited.

It will all work out in the end.

Seems to not matter when she ordered.... ATT gives shipping windows.... The 15 people yours talking about have later shipping windows... Is it fair? no, but not our fault.... I want my phone within the ATT issued shipping windows.

So I saw on istocknow they had SG 64 in stock for the first time since I ordered, went to the store they told me i had to cancel my ATT order first then go to back of the line so I walked out. Not going to jeopardize 4 weeks of waiting and then add another 4-6 weeks on bc the guy in front of me grabs the last one.
 
Ok has anyone here been able to get a live person on the phone when calling AT&T ? I have tried multiple times and can't get a real person. All I get is the devil lady saying my phones still on friggin Backorder!!!! I know I only ordered on 10/1 but dang it folks ordering nearly three weeks after me get their phones. Anyone know if this is a good or bad sign ?
 
Looks like ATT website lead times are getting better for 16gb versions... No wait for SG, 7 days for silver and 14 days for gold... 64 and 128 still 28-35 days
 
Got my SG 64 gb plus yesterday. I must say it was worth the wait! Hang in there everyone. I guess only downfall to the phone is, it's almost impossible to workout with. Oh well, I'll use my iPod instead.
