just at a loss. There are now 128 6+s in SG just hours away in multiple stores. ATT has just screwed the pooch on this. Never ordering a phone online again. Just isn't worth it obviously.

I went to our local ATT store and ordered the SG 64GB on 10/21. The rep informed me that it would be shipped in 2 weeks. When I received my email order the ship date was 12/1-12/10. I thought OK, I can wait, well that lasted about a week and I found this site. I read thru the post and knew the ship date was probably true.
A couple of days ago I decided to go to my local Apple store and was able to get a Iphone + gold 64gb even though I really wanted the SG. This morning I saw on istocknow that they received some SG phones today. I tried to buy one online and kept getting an error message. So I decided to drive over to the Apple store and try my luck. When I pulled up there was already a line, but I was fortunate enough to exchange my gold 6+ for a 128gb SG one. I called ATT and cancelled my backordered phone no questions asked from ATT.
Good luck to everyone waiting, I hope you get your phones soon.

Ordered a 6+ SG 64GB 9/13 evening
877# just changed to processsing, expected ship date 11/9-11/27 (which my order status has said all along)
Also they taxes are showing up as a hold on my bank account so they are charging me. Hopefully I should have it in hand soon!
I got the first iphone a week or two after they were released, back when it was $600 and then a month later they dropped the price and gave the early adopters an apple credit for $100. Since then I've had every S version except I skipped the 5s because I wanted to try something else and really wanted a bigger screen.
So happy to soon be back to an iphone, my galaxy S4 would drop signal for no reason and I would have to restart it or sometimes even pull the battery to get signal again. I am going to miss a few things but the pro's out weight the cons for me at this point in time.

ios 8 is stupid painful on the 4 no? on my 4s I have to wait 30 secs just to answer the phone or open the camera. I can't copy and paste anything from the web and the good old mystery OTHER storage space has returned.
Can't get iOS8. Still with 7.2 or whatever it is. But it is acting up ALOT more than it used to. I would have thought that the 64 silver would have been more popular. Oh well. Can't do anything about it now but wait. Trying to hang in there.
What I don't understand is if the SG is so much more popular and no one wants the gold or silver we should be getting our dayum phones before the SG people--- but NOOOOOOOO

Cook did say that Apple wasn't even in the same universe as the demand for the 6+. How they decided what to make first and how much is the question of the day I suppose.
Can we buy iphone 6+ in apple stores under the Next plan? Does anyone know? I'm about to make the drive to an apple store that's pretty far away to grab one.
I just chatted with two different Apple agents who confirmed you CAN use Next in the store, but you canNOT order online for pickup and use Next.

So, I have played with the 6+ for the last 3 hours, picked up my 4 and it looked like a watch screen it seemed so small.

Almost went to apple store yesterday 6 + in stock. ATT 6 + 64 SG ordered 9/13 finally shipped 10/31 Delivery set for11/4/14 original ship date was 11/9- 11/27. I'm happy to finally be getting phone. Still pissed at ATT. I will never order from them again.

Decided to stay with Att for now. Guess what I have in my grubby hands???? Yep my phone, not the one I ordered since Att cancelled it without cause, but the one I tracked down at an Apple Store. Technically got it 3 days before Att would have gotten it to me. Still upset with Att and still plan to leave them for now I will stay.
Does anyone know if I'd be able to add a line to my acct to purchase a phone in stock at Apple and then go directly to ATT afterwards and cancel the new line and use my upgrade? (I know, I've gone crazy haha) The store in Sarasota (an hour from me) has one in stock and I'm losing my mind
I don't dare risk cancelling my current order until I have the other phone in hand. I'm on hold with AT&T now but the wait is so long

ATT just charged my card for the full amount of the phone (today 10/31). The 877# hasn't been able to find my number for a week or two (randomly stopped saying backordered one day and claims they can't locate the order). I'm premiere - so not sure if I'll receive an email with shipping information.
Planning on being out of town next week...hopefully will have it when I get back.
