Wait, so I ordered at the ATT store, and they charged something, is that what most people get charged a couple days before the expected shipping window or is it something else..? ( sorry if I sound really stupid ) the guy said it was something about tax.. ?
When did you order your phone? What was your specs on it and what was your shipping window? Sounds like your phone should be on it's way shortly! Keep checking your shipment status and you should see good news soon! They typically do this, charge the tax on the phone, when they are actually getting ready to ship your phone. Good news is coming your way soon!
@SgtFire I ordered 10/11, 6+ Gold 64Gbs, and the guy at ATT charged for the tax the same day, which is why I was wondering if they just charge tax or/and something else? My expected shipping window is 11/19-12/01.. I was wondering cause lots of people have had their orders cancelled a few days before their ESD and that " charge" to their CC but is it tax or something else?
They still honored the $300 trade-in credit for your 5S? i thought that promotion ended already?
I'm pretty much in the same boat, I have a 5S on a NEXT plan and have $350 left to pay so that I can do a pay to upgrade to a 6 plus. Just waiting on my local AT&T to get some in stock!

They charged me tax same day as well. They shouldn't have charged you twice. Still, sounds like you may be getting your phone before the shipping window. Not common but it has happened. Keep us up to date!
Ordered iPhone 6 Plus white 64gb unlocked from ATT on 10/12, shipping window was 11/22-12/2 but I got confirmation that it shipped on 10/31 and I'll have it on Tuesday. I live in Southern California
Can you lay into them for me? I ordered 9/20 and am on day 5 of my shipping window with NOTHING.

The ORDER needs to be submitted by 9/30, you can take delivery whenever and have 30 days to trade your phones in.

I went away for the weekend and took a break from checking with the Dragon Lady... Imagine my excitement when I returned home to hear "...processed" and to already have tracking info! I should receive my phone Tuesday!!

Yes I know this, as I did order on 9/14 (I did not mean to imply I ordered & shipped on the same day).
Ok ordered 9/15 6+ 64 orginal ship 11/9 to 11/27
Yesterday morning CC charged in full and received shipping info about an hour ago 1pm MST.
sent from ft. forth to within Texas (ground) should be 2 days, so even though no info other than tracking number and scan at UPS... I should have it Tuesday or Wednesday but I will keep posting in case it helps.
Also it is about a week or three ahead of time.

Coming up on my shipping window. My fingers hurt from being crossed so much. I really hoping that I'll get some news here shortly. 9/19 order date. 128 SG 6+. ATT Premier. I may drive to Tampa Tuesday to pick mine up if I don't have anything by then. It's only 3hrs away.
My trade in had nothing to do with the promotion. The $300 was what my phone was worth when I handed it back to AT&T.
If your on the next plan you are eligible for an upgrade after one year. You can give your phone back to AT&T, they determine what your phone is worth and then you can use that money to pay off the balance of your phone. So now you are out of your next plan, if you find a 6+ at the Apple store you can then purchase it and activate it there. You will have to cancel your pre-order first.
The only thing you should have pay is the activation fee of $40 and of coarse the cost of the phone. The 128gb was $499. I did all of this yesterday without a problem.
My original order date was 10/07 gold 64gb and I had already canceled that order yesterday, before I went into AT&T to hand in my phone.

actually i haven't even preordered/ ordered the phone. just been patient about waiting for the phone to get back in stock.
so they'll give me credit for a NEXT phone trade-in even? i was told that when doing a NEXT trade-in, i don't get credit and that its just part of the NEXT rules. hopefully what you're telling me is true and I actually CAN get credit to apply to paying off my phone!
