Same here except order date is the 19th. Trying not to get excited since the 9th is still a week away....but at least there seems to be movement? One can hope. :)

theres movement, if u noticed that list on this thread starts at 9/19 not launch day folks like SG

Have you seen movement for our phone on other forums? That would give me some hope. I'm thinking we should get it this week if people who ordered after us have shipping dates before us. I'm hoping that they were just being liberal with our ship dates because it was the launch day and they didn't know what to expect. What do you think?

actually i haven't even preordered/ ordered the phone. just been patient about waiting for the phone to get back in stock.

so they'll give me credit for a NEXT phone trade-in even? i was told that when doing a NEXT trade-in, i don't get credit and that its just part of the NEXT rules. hopefully what you're telling me is true and I actually CAN get credit to apply to paying off my phone!

Thats right. I had a 18 month contract on the next plan. I'm only 13 months into my contract. When I ordered my 6+ I still had a balance owing of $225, AT&T forgave this balance because I was up grading to the 6+. But I canceled my order with AT&T because I was buying a 6+ from the apple store. Now the Apple store won't t take your phone, you have to return it to AT&T.

So yesterday I didn't have a phone on order when I walked into the AT&T store, so I was in the position you are in now.

I actually came out ahead because I only owed $225, but I got $300 for handing in my 5s.

Like I said you are eligible for an upgrade after 1 year when your on the next plan. Thats why people are going with the next plan so they can have a new phone every year, but if you up grade after 1 year you have to give the phone back. If you complete your contract, you keep the phone, but remember you will have paid full price for the phone. Thats why I didn't want to keep my phone for more that one year.

If you find a 6+ at an Apple store go in and see if they will hold it for you, my Apple store did. Then call AT&T and tell them you want to buy from Apple, but you still have a remain balance on your phone and see what they tell you. The AT&T CSR actually called a corporate store near me and clarified with them that if I brought my phone into them what would they give me for it, they said between $200 and $300 depending on the condition of the phone.

I hope this helps you.

I heard that ATT lets you be upgrade eligible on the 1st day of the month when your contract is up. My contract ends on 11/13 so I'm supposed to be eligible on 11/14. Well I checked yesterday, Saturday Nov 1....and sure enough Im showing upgrade eligible when I call the *639# and get the text, and also when I checked eligibility for the my line online.

Im planning to use it if ATT cannot make me happy tomorrow in fixing my cancelled order fiasco after faxing proof of funds requested by the Escalation team in the President's office. It would be ideal to leave the contract open to move that line to another carrier to test if it's greener on the other side...and maybe move the other 2 lines when the contracts are up. But if push comes to shove, I'll use the eligibility to go to Apple and get it from them, since ATT stores are not stocked.

Ordered 9/12 through third party, processed with premiere on 9/15. SG 64 + shipped tonight with FedEx tracking info. My window was 11/9 - 11/27, so beat their estimate. Still outrages for a "preorder".

Makes me think I should just cancel so my eligibility is ready if I find one... My window is early December.

Honestly. If you have the option do it. There've been NONE around where I live for ATT. Tuesday I called Best Buy and they had them for all carriers but ATT.

There's movement on this very thread, they just weren't added to the list. There was a 9/15 Gold 64+ that shipped last Tuesday.

Well, if that's true I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what can be done. Multiple CSRs told me that I could not get a phone through anyone but retention until 11/6.

The second part of this equation is that the second Gold 64 I ordered is for a line that was 11 months away from being eligible, so I would hate for this line (my wife) to be pushed back into December or later just because I want my phone early. :(
