Just called the 877 to ask if there's any update to my order, basically it's today or Monday, and I haven't seen/heard anything.
The Premier CSR was adamant that I would be getting the phone shipped. "Definitely Monday, could be today" and that I'll get an email with tracking number. She was very confused as to why I'd even be questioning this. She repeated over and over that "your phone will ship by Monday and you'll get an email". Sounded to me a lot like "Tell him what he wants to hear". Maybe I'm overly cynical at this point, but that's what I felt.
To put a finer point on it, I asked her "So you have phones in stock?" She said "we have lot of those phones in stock, yes".
Maybe she's right, maybe ATT is literally going to adhere to the letter of the law with the range and ship in on the last possible day for many people.
I doubt it. I think she was telling me what I want to hear so I'd hang up ASAP and she could go about her day.
She did provide a number to call if I don't get a shipment email by EOD Monday though. 1-866-499-8008, Option 2
