No. I'm on the next plan so taxes and everything have been paid. The gentleman I've been dealing with in the Appeals office assured me it would go out today and Id have a tracking number. Instead I get this email.

He's getting another call very soon.

Yesterday Mr. John Edmond had told my hubby to call back today around 5pm...my hubby called him at 2:30. Edmond answered and quickly whispered to my hubby that he was in a mtg and would call back when he was out. I texted my hubby at 4pm to call Edmond since I hadn't heard any news while I was at work, but my hubby was busy and never called. Luckily, I did email Edmond a reminder right after I texted my hubby. I mentioned ppl with the next shipping dates getting phones before those of 10/29-11/07, how most of those within that estimate have gotten tracking info while others have not, and how local Apple and retail stores are full of stock which verify the availability of phones.

Nothing.

I'm hoping the meeting had nothing to do with Escalation/Appeals reps getting in trouble for promising us results.

And who knows if that meeting had anything to do with these sudden "delayed" emails being sent (??????????).

Been following this thread for a while. Ordered a SG 64gb on 9/23, from AT&T. Checked istock and noticed the Apple Store, close to me, had quite a few 6 Plus in stock. I took a chance. After waiting 2 hours, and spending a hour of that on the phone with AT&T, I walked away with a 128gb Silver 6 Plus. Happy happy happy.

When I faxed my bank account info last Friday verifying I had funds and proving they had cancelled my order unjustly, they had said they would review and contact me on Monday. So I spent the whole weekend worried sick.
Seems like I haven't learned my lesson not to trust anyone from AT&T......

It happened!!! Got my email stating mine has been shipped! (5:45pm) Just like everyone said. Last night it went from back order hell to processing and about 24 hours later I got the email. Shipping FedEx from Dallas (I live in a suburb of Dallas, so hoping I get it sooner then 11/11)

Ordered in the store on 9/13
Shipping dates 11/9-11/27
6+ 64 unicorn (silver)

I'll let you know when I receive it so you can remove me from the list.

So, friends guess what??? yup, no phones. UGH:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I went to Apple today they reserved me 2 128 silver+s until the end of the day 9PM

So I call ATT and I say
'DON'T CANCEL MY ORDERS until you tell me my elgibility will be restored right away"
So he says I 100% assure you your elgibility will be restored right away. 2 minutes after canceling he says "UH OH, you had a NEXT plan in the last 12 months so it takes 24-72 hours to restore"
DUUUUUUUUUDE, I never had a NEXT plan I am rocking the 4S right now since 2011. NEVER HAD A NEXT PLAN!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:
So cue the manager "sorry ma'am nothing I can do here is 25BUX for your INCONVENIENCE"
I said duuuude you are paying my bill. He says nope./
so, I go back to Apple and ask them to hold the phones, he says OK but only until tomorrow at 9

so, what are the chances he actually held the phones?
what are the chances my elgibility will be restored on a Saturday 24 hours from today 5PM????

SO UNBELIEVABLY PISSEDOFF RIGHT NOW

This needs to be picked up by news stations so people know how poorly AT&T handles their orders and issues. How long have they been in business and they still can't handle a preorder?! How inept can you be?!?!

Just got a phone call from my rep at the AT&T store he was going to show the email and my status info to his manager and they are gunna see what they can do. So we shall see...but I agree news stations are prefect ways of getting stuff done.
 
Well now that my wife's Gold 6+ 64GB has shipped, Fedex tracking shows it has arrived in our town. It is still scheduled for Monday delivery. Frustrating!!!

I also called the 877 number to check on the rest of the order that consisted of an Apple red silicone cover. The automated system sent me directly to a CSR (after 15 minutes of listening to recorded messages over and over). She told me that the iPhone shipped and will arrive on Monday. When I asked about the Apple accessory, she said it was canceled because the order was over 30 days old. I asked the question - why didn't you cancel the phone order- , but no response. I guess we were lucky they didn't.

Anyway, I can get another cover and my wife needs one as she has dropped her ancient 3GS on of all days, the first day of the pre-order and broke the screen, the whole reason for us doing the pre-order in the first place. I ended up replacing the broken glass on her phone since it looked like the new phone would never show up. It is so close but still isn't in hand. Im sure most all of you have experienced the once you have ordered the phone, you can't understand why they cannot deliver. It isn't like we were without a phone as I fixed the old one. You just have to have it.

Any sugestions on a good case for the 6 plus? I need something else to think about!

Well the gentleman from the appeals office got a call from me after Id given him 24 hours. He assured me my phone was literally just waiting on the FedEx truck and he would make sure it got on there today and he'd fall back with a tracking number.

Nothing. I got an email informing me Id have an even longer wait. He'll be getting a not so nice call Monday morning.

He assured me not just once but like 5 times which is what gets me. Not only did he lie. He lied with passion.
 
YUP that's EXACTLY what happened to me today. DUDE LIED with a passion. So, now no orders and no phones. SQUARE ONE>>>>:mad::mad::mad:

They had PLENTY today. The Apple store wasn't even crowded. But tomorrow is shop til you drop Saturday so good luck. I almost cried in the store. But I held it together and just socked him in the face:mad:

Well I did it. Canceled the order with AT&T, had to call back to get my NEXT reset about an hour after canceling. They were able to have a supervisor do it easily. Walked back into the Apple store and now I've got a Silver 128G 6+. Next was super easy to do in the store. Oh I had thought I'd lose my trade-in promotion of 200$ since I canceled but AT&T's system didn't show me having canceled yet for that department when I walked next door to trade-in my 5 for 130$ so they ended up giving me the 200$ promotion trade-in. So you can take me off the list; day 50 was enough for me.

Oh if you were on the Mobile Share 2GB or 4GB call AT&T. They got rid of those plans and they now have 3GB and 6GB for the same price. They won't move you automatically to the new data limit so you have to call in and ask.

Good luck folks and screw AT&T, next year I'm walking into Apple a few weeks after launch.

I just waited an hour, called back and told them "The previous customer service person told me eligibility would reset immediately, I'm standing here in the store waiting to buy the phone can you reset it for me. He tried, put me on hold got his manager and 4 minutes later I was reset easily. So they can do it no problem you just need a manager.
 
I think the original poster was a Premier business customer. I'm a regular Premier customer. I walked into the Apple Store here the other day and walked out in 20 minutes with a 64gb 6 plus. I cancelled my pending order with ATT and Apple jumped right in. No hiccups or problems for me. Maybe it's different for business versus personal?

At any rate, if you're just a personal Premier person and you have access to an Apple Store, go there. They will help you, I promise. Keep us updated on what you do!

I don't know the difference between a "business" or "personal" premier customer. I guess I may be a personal customer since it is my private cell and not company issued but I do get the discount cause of my employer? Is that what you are BeeT84? If so, did you receive your "next plan" along with your premier discount and just paid the taxes? How much did you end up coming out of pocket when you left the store? I emailed the CEO last night and got a call from his executive office this morning saying my order would be expedited since they were getting a shipment in at 3 pm today. I have not heard from them or received shipping info yet. I am tempted to cancel my order and go to an Apple store and do just what you did as well. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait until the end of next week and see if I get my phone or not. My shipping info has not changed but I was charged the day my order was reprocessed.
 
For anyone with the 128gb that got the delay emails.... What does the 877 and web status show? Any info in the email about how long of a delay?

Everything says backordered with no shipping dates. Also we would receive a email when they have some to send.

Nope, I called 4 times total of 3 hours on the phone no one could reset it. They said they had to call Ecommerce? and the said no way...spoke to 4 managers.:confused: I even had Apple speak to them and I tried to add 2 lines, couldn't do that either..
 
Would filing complaints to FCC do anything to at&t ? Monday is my last day of shippin window....doubt I'll get any movement this weekend

Gingersnap and I are apparently getting screwed into holding on longer than necessary. Part of the email I just sent Mr. Edmond from the Escalation team @President's office:

"Personal emails and phone numbers are insufficient in calming wronged customers if nothing gets done anyway...and I am starting to question whether the purpose of this "team" is to entertain & distract angry customers into thinking they are getting somewhere. I can only blame myself for falling for it...yet again".

All this because I hate being treated like I'm a dumb 'ol customer that they need to simmer down with all the tricks of the trade because I'm making too much ruckus for them. I'm done playing the "Oh goody...you're going to help me!!" game and going back to my original "I'm gonna bust your lip!!" attitude that worked to initially light a fire on their behinds...

I concluded with:
"The question is simple: Will my phone be shipped within the next two days? I want a clear answer... no more waiting, scheduling call backs, or checking back at a later time".

We ARE being lied to with a PASSION!!! #
