Looking for serious answer. After searching online, half of all replies say a few a few minutes to an hour, others say up to 3 days. I guess I'll have to see in-store or call ATT before I go.

So, friends guess what??? yup, no phones. UGH:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I went to Apple today they reserved me 2 128 silver+s until the end of the day 9PM

So I call ATT and I say
'DON'T CANCEL MY ORDERS until you tell me my elgibility will be restored right away"
So he says I 100% assure you your elgibility will be restored right away. 2 minutes after canceling he says "UH OH, you had a NEXT plan in the last 12 months so it takes 24-72 hours to restore"
DUUUUUUUUUDE, I never had a NEXT plan I am rocking the 4S right now since 2011. NEVER HAD A NEXT PLAN!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:
So cue the manager "sorry ma'am nothing I can do here is 25BUX for your INCONVENIENCE"
I said duuuude you are paying my bill. He says nope./
so, I go back to Apple and ask them to hold the phones, he says OK but only until tomorrow at 9

so, what are the chances he actually held the phones?
what are the chances my elgibility will be restored on a Saturday 24 hours from today 5PM????

This is ridiculous! The AT&T CSR have the ability to restore your eligibility right away. When I canceled my order with AT&T the CSR had my eligibility restored before we hung up the phone and I was on the next plan. There is no reason why they couldn't restore yours right away. There is no consistency with the way things are done with AT&T, except for of course the delay in ordered, thats pretty consistent.
 
The "answer" they tell me is if you cancel TWO next orders in a 12 month period (me and my husband's phone) it will flag your account and send you off to PURGATORY with NO FIX. I NEVER had a NEXT order in my life until 9/30.
Not a single manager supervisor or "Back room team" member has an answer so... yay lucky me:rolleyes:


What?! I placed a next order for my SG 64 plus with my unlimited data and I had them CANCEL it and restore my eligibility on the phone. Sure enough my sister got my phone (although it was a 128 gold) and mailed it to me. Something's not right cuz I did exactly what you did but it worked for me
 
I don't know the difference between a "business" or "personal" premier customer. I guess I may be a personal customer since it is my private cell and not company issued but I do get the discount cause of my employer? Is that what you are BeeT84? If so, did you receive your "next plan" along with your premier discount and just paid the taxes? How much did you end up coming out of pocket when you left the store? I emailed the CEO last night and got a call from his executive office this morning saying my order would be expedited since they were getting a shipment in at 3 pm today. I have not heard from them or received shipping info yet. I am tempted to cancel my order and go to an Apple store and do just what you did as well. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait until the end of next week and see if I get my phone or not. My shipping info has not changed but I was charged the day my order was reprocessed.

Yeah, sounds like you're a personal Premier person. I get a discount because of my employer as well, but I pay for everything. The fine folks in the Apple Store ask "business or personal?" so that makes me think there are different protocols for both.

At any rate, everything worked flawlessly with me. I was out of pocket almost $51.00, which is the taxes (in my area) on the retail price of the 64gb 6plus. I did the NEXT18 plan, which will add like $31 and some change to my monthly ATT bill. I was assured that all other fees, discount, etc is unchanged. We'll see when I get my bill.

The only downside is losing the $200 ATT credit for the trade in of my 5. But when I get time I'm gonna call/run across the street to the ATT store to see if I can still get it due to the hassle. Good luck!
 
They are calling it a "system error" and say it is no fault of my own. I told them straight up I am NOT paying for phones that I don't even have so they can suck my next bill>>>>>+++

anyhoozles, kept calling hit up every manager and supervisor until durrr they realize this is a serious glitch and problem that no one can fix. I was given a special phone number where they confirmed several lies I was told like the escalation team works weekends-false. Nothing I can do until Monday so keep those orders peeps!

My order was canceled by ATT two weeks ago. My cc was compromised and the taxes did not go through. I ordered 2 6+ phones a 64 and a 128 on 9/12. The 64 arrived on 9/25 and the taxes were not charged until the phone was activated. The 128 was cancelled by ATT on 10/24. I was doing the next plan on both. I called ATT and they had no clue. I went online to Apple we had a phone line that was eligible for an upgrade. They had a 64+ I reserved it and made a 4 hour round trip after working all day to pick it up. I keep checking the thread and it is unbelievable how ATT has handled everything. hope everyone get their phones soon.
 
I canceled my order with ATT and used IStockNow and called my apple retailer since it showed they had it stock and I got my phone and it's waiting for me with my name on it. gold 6+ 128 Gb. Trust me this is easier call your nearest shop if they have it in stock and pick it up there, literally should have done this back in OCT
 
Everyone in the 10/29-11/07 window is getting their phones shipped but me #

Gingersnap, mine has not shipped either. I have my heart set on the sg, 128 and I am willing to wait. There is only one Apple Store in cincinnati, and if they ever get the sg 128 it's gone in a blink of an eye. I just hope it won't be much longer.
 
I did think of that too, and that's why it's delayed, and I'm good with that, but the apple stores would not have stock either. I'm wondering if the supplier that makes the phone shells can't keep keep up with demand on the sg.
 
Maybe Apple is recalling the stock of the iPhone 6+ 128gb.... So they can replace the memory on it to MLC...

There is no evidence at the moment that the TLC rumor is true. If true, it would affect all 128gb 6 & 6+ models. This morning, stock trackers are showing stocks of 128gb 6 & 6+ phones across the US. Many stores will not have all carriers and all colors. But just about every store has some 128gb models.

If the rumor is true, this stock should start disappearing.

Not everyone in the 10/29-11/7 window is getting their tracking number. My cc was charged on 11/6 but order is still "processing" and I don't have a tracking number yet.

After reading more of this thread. I'm really glad I canceled my order and just picked one up at the Apple Store. I really wish you all the best of luck.

These two pieces of concrete data seem to suggest that (aside from cancellations, reorders, and/or animosity at the system leading to excessive cranial pressure) orders are being completed and shipping one day after the window.

Time for the upset among us to relax and have a beer (or green tea if so inclined) and enjoy the weekend. Life is to short to grow angered about not getting the thing you want at the moment you want it. Besides, the newness of the desired device will wear off in a matter of days and it will be like three months ago when you didn't even know what 6+ was called, much less what it looked like.

Have mercy on the representatives at the company you now despise, they are just trying to do their jobs, as i am sure you do at your place of work. Would you enjoy the shoe on your foot, being chided for not giving the customer what they want and having no way to satiate their desire?

Remember: not every business operates 24/7.
Many parties are involved in getting you your phone. So, there are many parties you are expecting to operate on the 24/7 schedule?
Does every business you encounter operate 24/7?

Conversely you could forget everything you see everyday and demand the sky to open up and rain iPhones to rain down upon you.

I canceled my ATT next order and the upgrade eligibility reverted back before I even hung up the phone with the CSR
 
No matter what you do, if you ordered NEXT,

DO NOT CANCEL YOUR ORDER!!!!!!!!!!

I am stuck in upgrade eligibility HELL. No way out. My orders say canceled my eligibility says I have a Next plan until OCT 2016!!!

NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE knows how to fix this!!!

I stayed up ALL NIGHT. I spoke to countless supervisors.

THERE IS NO FIX.

I have to cancel ATT lose my unlimited data or wait until 2016 to get new phones.

WORST CASE SCENARIO!!!

Didn't they say like 2 days?
