Gingersnap and I are apparently getting screwed into holding on longer than necessary. Part of the email I just sent Mr. Edmond from the Escalation team @President's office:

"Personal emails and phone numbers are insufficient in calming wronged customers if nothing gets done anyway...and I am starting to question whether the purpose of this "team" is to entertain & distract angry customers into thinking they are getting somewhere. I can only blame myself for falling for it...yet again".

All this because I hate being treated like I'm a dumb 'ol customer that they need to simmer down with all the tricks of the trade because I'm making too much ruckus for them. I'm done playing the "Oh goody...you're going to help me!!" game and going back to my original "I'm gonna bust your lip!!" attitude that worked to initially light a fire on their behinds...

I concluded with:
"The question is simple: Will my phone be shipped within the next two days? I want a clear answer... no more waiting, scheduling call backs, or checking back at a later time".

We ARE being lied to with a PASSION!!! #

I sent the following email just now:

Mr. Edmond -

I was emailing in regards to my order placed on 9/21. I was assured by the appeals and resolution office I would get a call back today with a tracking number.

That did not happen. Instead I received an email stating Id have even more of a delay receiving my order. I'm growing weary of being misled in this matter.

Can this matter please be addressed?
 
One of the major issues is that they are still taking 128gb SG ORDERS!! The nerve these people have

I went to Apple today they reserved me 2 128 silver+s until the end of the day 9PM

So I call ATT and I say
'DON'T CANCEL MY ORDERS until you tell me my elgibility will be restored right away"
So he says I 100% assure you your elgibility will be restored right away. 2 minutes after canceling he says "UH OH, you had a NEXT plan in the last 12 months so it takes 24-72 hours to restore"
DUUUUUUUUUDE, I never had a NEXT plan I am rocking the 4S right now since 2011. NEVER HAD A NEXT PLAN!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:
So cue the manager "sorry ma'am nothing I can do here is 25BUX for your INCONVENIENCE"
I said duuuude you are paying my bill. He says nope./
so, I go back to Apple and ask them to hold the phones, he says OK but only until tomorrow at 9

so, what are the chances he actually held the phones?
what are the chances my elgibility will be restored on a Saturday 24 hours from today 5PM????

SO UNBELIEVABLY PISSEDOFF RIGHT NOW

Since you're going to the store, it would be quicker that way. but when you do cancel an order, it can take up to 72hours for the upgrade to reverse. it doesn't usually take that 72 hours, it really depends on when the system processes the reversal.

I am emailing you today in the wake of my customer dissatisfaction after a call with one of your representatives.

I ordered two Iphone 6+ 64GB one silver one gold for my lines (edited)

After waiting 28 business days, 5 weeks, I grew tired of waiting and I found that there was stock in my location of San Diego at my local Apple stores.

I called ATT today November 7th, 3 days before my shipping timeframe of 11/10-11/19, and spoke to a rep and asked him if I canceled my order would my eligibility return immediately?

I told him I did NOT want to cancel my order unless he was 100% certain my eligibility would return immediately.

He ASSURED me my eligibility would return IMMEDIATELY.

So, I canceled the order. Two minutes later, after he canceled my order I waited 28 business days 5 weeks for, he tells me that my eligibility could not be returned immediately because I had a previous NEXT order in the last 12 months. He also said it could be 72 hours until it would be reinstated.

I have NEVER had a NEXT order because I still have my iPhone 4s from 2010!!

Now, I have no phone order, no phones, and no eligibility.

I am infuriated. I spoke to 3 managers that told me there was nothing they could do.

I realize this is just a phone we are talking about but I am a business owner and I rely on my phone for business.

-----ATT promised to deliver my phone in 3-4 weeks. It has been 5.

-----ATT Customer Service Rep promised my eligibility would be reinstated IMMEDIATELY causing the loss of my 5 week old order. My eligibility has not been reinstated yet, 6 hours later.

Do you think I would have canceled an order that was about to ship if the Rep informed me that it would take FIVE DAYS (2 weekend days 3 business days) to reinstate my eligibility?

I am very understandably LIVID.

I am prepared to go to my social media accounts and warn people about dealing with ATT if this matter is not handled ASAP

I have until 9PM to get my reserved phones from Apple tomorrow 11/8/2014 I WANT MY ELIGIBILITY REINSTATED IMMEDIATELY!!!

I do not think I am being unreasonable in asking for customer satisfaction at minimum.

I thank you for your prompt attention on this matter and swift handling of my concerns.

Feel free to PULL THE CONVERSATION I had with your rep between 4:10 pm and 5:30pm Pacific Time as evidence of my concerns.

I came back specifically to see if you had recieved your order yet. I can't believe it hasn't shipped! I will continue to check back as you are one of the posters that I have watched since I joined the forums to post on this thread almost 6 weeks ago. I hope you hear something soon!
 
After planning a 400 mile round trip for tomorrow to cancel my order and hopefully pick up a phone at an Apple Store... My status finally changed to "processing" on the 877#. Ordered 9/21 6+ 64 silver with ship dates of 10/30-11/10. Still gonna make the trip to get my daughters phone. Hope to get a tracking number soon!!
 
Does the status change to processing even if they haven't put a charge on your CC? Or will there be a charge on the CC before the status change to processing?

I normally check my CC and online AT&T status... Don't check the 877# as often...

edit: I also don't even know which order number to believe when calling 877#... As it always tells me I have multiple active order... when I only ordered the phone once. One of the order #: "backordered"; the other order #: "being processed".... Since 9/26

Ordered 9/20 6+ 128 SG.
Ship window ended yesterday.

I'm seeing Best Buy and Target having the 6+ 64 SG here in OK City area(here for OU vs. Baylor game).

I have not ever used Next Plan, so I don't owe anything. I'm thinking I will cancel order and get one of these smaller memory ones.

The question I have is the buy back of my iphone 4. Will I still get the $200 for it, or should I call them and make sure they will honor it?

It's been 49 days since I placed my original order. I think that shows pacience on my part.

What to do. I really want the 128 SG, but will settle for a 64.

How long does it take for an ordered canceled online to re-instate eligibility via NEXT? I tired of reading this thread. I wanted a SG but I'll take a Silver and be done with it, especially since I'm using a white iPhone 5 now anyway. Color isn't a big deal. The question is how long is it going to take before I can go to the Apple Store and get my damn phone.

I would just buy the phone, but a family member needs my iPhone 5 and AT&T will forgive my contract and unlock it now if I get my 6 Plus via next.

Thanks, just got off with retentions they assure me that someone there has a brain:( and can figure out how to do an upgrade reversal before 11/12 (2 days into my original shipping dates) she filed an escalated case for me which means ********... so I either wait until 2016 or end my att relationship.
I have unlimited data which gets throttled to the point of unusability so...

What kind of a company are these guys running? Absolute worst customer experience ordering phones ever. Unbelievable!

Apple's promised ship windows to its customers are extremely reliable and I don't think they can be much worse to the carrier partners. I hold AT&T fully responsible for this fiasco.
 
I'm So sorry for all those that waited so long just to get that email. My wife and I decided after reading all of this to cancel our order . She has decided to get a gold 128 6+ which I reserved this morning at the local Apple store. I tried to get one for myself as well but they ran out of stock before I could so most likely I'm going to go get a note 4. I hope the Best for all of you

What?! I placed a next order for my SG 64 plus with my unlimited data and I had them CANCEL it and restore my eligibility on the phone. Sure enough my sister got my phone (although it was a 128 gold) and mailed it to me. Something's not right cuz I did exactly what you did but it worked for me
