These two pieces of concrete data seem to suggest that (aside from cancellations, reorders, and/or animosity at the system leading to excessive cranial pressure) orders are being completed and shipping one day after the window.

Time for the upset among us to relax and have a beer (or green tea if so inclined) and enjoy the weekend. Life is to short to grow angered about not getting the thing you want at the moment you want it. Besides, the newness of the desired device will wear off in a matter of days and it will be like three months ago when you didn't even know what 6+ was called, much less what it looked like.

Have mercy on the representatives at the company you now despise, they are just trying to do their jobs, as i am sure you do at your place of work. Would you enjoy the shoe on your foot, being chided for not giving the customer what they want and having no way to satiate their desire?

Also, I don't know how I could tell someone who has been waiting months for a phone, is now past her estimated ship time, and got lied to by a rep, like Gingersnap, to not be pissed. Give me a break. If I was in Gingersnap's situation, especially with the way AT&T has been handling orders, I would be causing HELL.
 
Today still has numerous hours remaining. Today is saturday.
Remember: not every business operates 24/7.
Many parties are involved in getting you your phone. So, there are many parties you are expecting to operate on the 24/7 schedule?
Does every business you encounter operate 24/7?

Conversely you could forget everything you see everyday and demand the sky to open up and rain iPhones to rain down upon you.

You do have a point, so I'll give you that.

Finally got a tracking number!! Shipped today, arriving Tuesday via FedEx!!

Hey guys so just wanted to give you all an update. I got my phone today via USPS and went to turn it on to activate it and there is a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen. If it was in the corner I could live with it, but not in the middle. So I drove to the Apple Store and they can't see me today, they're too busy (should've checked online I guess before making the drive).

Anyway, I know a lot of you are still waiting for your phones, but just want to warn you to check your phones when they come in! We've paid premium prices for a premium phone and had to wait a couple of months to get them so we should expect a damn near perfect product.

I think I'm just more pissed I was lied to.

I just joined today I have been watching this thread for weeks. My heart goes out to you ginger as I am in the same boat. I ordered a 128 sg on sept 21 at 11am. Yesterday at 730 i got the dreaded email. Today I had to deal with customer service for other reasons which I won't even go in to. Anyhow, when i had addressed all my other issues I asked about my 6+ and she told me my order had been put on "hold" due to the Home Depot data breach. No matter that I did'nt shop at HD so my account is fine. She said all orders within that time frame were placed in quarantine until they could sort out who was breached. I call BS! I am leaving the damn country wednesday at noon and at this point fully expect my phone to be delivered minutes after I leave. She actually told me to buy it at the apple store if I could get it. the closest store to me is in Buffalo and they had a run on the verizon sg6+s last night after that last email. i know because I too decided eff em Im outta here. guess what, too late. I could have ordered one from rochester (90 min away) but by the time I got off the phone with the stoopid beotch those were gone too! ATT has really screwed the pooch on this one and they don't seem to really give a ****. and to that zen troll who basically chimed in to say chill out its just a phone i say FU! either you work for ATT or you already got yours you pompous asshat. sorry for running on. I needed to vent.:(:(:(

What a day! So the rep for AT&T text me and him and his manager took a look at my account. They had to call corporate because my order says my current service would expire by the 12th because I was suppose to get my phone before then. Well since they are backordered to looks like December the sg 128gb they couldn't change it so they had to cancel my order. So since I wasn't able to go to my local Apple Store right away I went ahead and did in store pick up with a 2 year. So when I got to the Apple Store they told me I had to cancel my order since I wanted the next so I did. Then the order wouldn't go through and the girl was like no it takes so many days to cancel it happened at launch. I was like ******** I ain't leaving tell this gets taken care of.so I called AT&T and they said it was a problem with apple called apple and two hours later they fixed the issue and I have a brand new and the last one of the silver 128gb iphone 6 plus I wanted the space gray but the silver ain't bad either. So you can take me off the list AT&T cancelled. But I will stop in to see how everyone is doing. And trust me if you do the same don't believe that they can't cancel and reprocess your order I am living proof you can! Good luck!

So I got my tracking number early Friday morning. It is shipping with USPS. It has had no updated besides that a label has been made. This has me worried and anxious. Is this normal to see? Has it been picked up and it just hasn't been updated? I know their bad with updating but this is ridiculous.

yep USPS is notoriously slow on tracking updates ... but I prefer USPS priority to the UPS Ground I got. ugh

From previous experience with numerous online orders of other products, it does take a while for things to update. Sometimes it won't even update until its on the truck for delivery.

Thanks. I had no choice they cancelled me :( I hope target or a best buy gets some in your area or AT&T helps you out. I will keep watch cause I want to make sure you get yours!
 
Finally got tracking number, never received an email that it shipped. Will be here Tuesday the 11th. Ordered 9/21 6+ 64 silver ship dates were 10/30-11/10.

I went to a corporate store(not retail) and got my eligibility reinstated.

I drove to Apple Carlsbad and got my gold 64+ no problems, husband got his silver 64+ no problems.

Anyone in the San Diego area that runs across this issue of canceling an order and unable to reverse your upgrade, go to the ATT in Santee and ask for the manager Paul.

I want to give Paul his props for fixing something in 5 minutes that 10 supervisors and an escalation team could not fix, he changed the last number of the IMEI number on both phones and JOILA! Upgrade became available. No biggie with old phones beacuse I am just selling them back to gazelle.

This bullshizz had me twisted.

I have to echo what others have said about this phone AMAZING

once you have it in your hand it feels like your old phone is a flip phone from the '80s. Maybe, just a better beeper;)

This new phone is some shizz cooked up on Mars. Some Martian crack.

9/20 - ordered 2 space grey 128 GB

Have called to check and been hung up and disconnects from chats. Then last week a woman told me my phone would ship by that Friday. It didn't.

My window was 10/29-11/07.

I emailed ATT's CEO Wednesday and Thursday got a call from an appeals and resolutions worker assuring me he was looking into it. I gave him 24 hours and called back yesterday.

He assured me he'd call me back with a tracking number last night. Didn't. No shipping notification. Instead my window passed and I got notification it would be even longer.

Last night I send another email and today still nothing.

Monday this gentleman is going to be receiving a pretty heated call.
 
if you have corporate store in your area it wouldn't hurt to pay the manager a visit. They are very good at fixing what CSR's can't.
