AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

I ordered mine (6+, 64GB, SG) at 9:30am Eastern. I had the original date of 10/31-11-11. It has now been changed as of this morning to:

Status: In progress
Tracking Number: Pending shipment (with no date listed)

Not sure if there is anyone else in a similar situation.
 
I ordered a 64gb 6+ sg at 1152pm(pst) from ATT. Got the confo email right after saying 14-21days and a 10-2-10-13 shipping date. Congrats text at 9am on Saturday saying they have processed my order and has been sent to warehouse for shipment. They put a hold on the tax of the phone and it's still on hold. Still today it says 10-2-10-13 and hasn't moved once...what is the point of pre order if we don't get it on launch day? Will never pre order again if it doesn't come. Gimmie my dam phone so I can ignore my kids for a couple weeks..lol..

I ordered a Gold 64g. I received my first confirmation email at 2:50 am cst. My ship date was 10/13-10/22 until yesterday it got moved up to 10/2-10/13. It is also still in the preparing to ship status.
 
Like many (almost half I read here) I ordered a 164gb space grey 6+, waited until 3:01AMeastern as an AT&T rep I talked to the evening of the 11th if my next plan was eligible for told me they were taking pre-orders at 12:01amPacific as "they were not allowed to take orders earlier, not even a minute." I had problems logging into my account for a few minute then when I tried to add the phone from the pre-order page it told me I wasn't eligible for an upgrade. I just went to my account clicked on upgrade (or something like that) and a picture of the Iphone 6 and 6+ plus popped... Bing bang boom I was done. I'm not exactly sure when my order went through but it had to of been between 3:10 and 3:15, def before 3:20. I say this because I sent myself an email at 3:22 withmy order number as I didn't get an email confirmation. I didn't get the email confirmation until 4:57am...

The original email said 2-3 weeks like everyone else, then the est ship date turned into 10/31-11/11. Yesterday morning my my ship date changed to 1/13-10/22 like most with no changes since.

No changes except my premier order status page changed to "Preorder Processing" from "Preparing to Ship" sometime early this morning. My regular AT&T order stats page still says ""Preparing to Ship"...

Are they phones you're trading in? This was a question I had before I pre ordered, what happens if I'm waiting a month for my new phone and I'm supposed to turn my phone in within a certain time? I'm not going without a phone or paying a penalty when I did nothing wrong. The rep assured me that the time frame to turn in your old phone starts after you receive your new phone. Then again this is the same rep who told me they are not allowed to start pre orders a minute early, so...

I remember reading rumors stating the "bigger" phone would be available a month later. This widely looks true, I said it before but Apple should've had pre-orders for the 6 on 9/12 with a launch of the 19th and had a 6+ pre order with a release date of 10/10. This would've cut down on this massive cluster **** of a situation...
 
Ordered 16gb plus within the first 30 mins. Had a original ship date of 10/31-11/11. Shipping got bumped up yesterday to 10/2-10/13.
 
If you read the below thread, most of the people without launch day delivery and who ordered within hours of launch are the one who ordered from AT&T.. So it is hard to believe that there is no stock.. AT&T is playing with our emotions..

Just got off the phone with my local AT&T store in Madison, WI. When I asked about the 6+ they said they expect to only get about 10 per device. Not sure if that is 10 per color and capacity, but 10 per is still pretty light.

That's for in store purchase. Carriers always have a limited supply on launch day, most of the inventory are at Apple stores. Pre order is different.

I would think it would be very tough to get a 6+ in the store, unless you line up like.....tomorrow, or wait a week or so for their replenishment, at that point you may in the same boat as sticking with the pre-order.

My post was in response to the question of whether you could go to the store on launch day, get the phone and cancel your preorder. I was simply trying to help set expectations as to their low chance to get one at the store...

6+ inventory is limited. I don't think carriers have much, if any, 6 Plus stock available. The Best Buy by my house is already warning people they may not get any 6+'s on release day.

My guess is that all the rumors about delayed production were correct, but Apple chose not to move the release day for the larger model. It's going to be an interesting few weeks until supplies ramp up.
 
Do order numbers matter?

Anyone have an order number in the 1626* range? Ordered 10 minutes before midnight.

My info

6+ 128gb Space Grey, apparently processed through Premier due to FAN discount.

Ordered early at 11:50pm PST on 9/11, got confirmation at 11:56pm then another email that it was in "the process of being fulfilled" at 1:58am. Got the first text at 3:45pm on Friday and the second an hour later-- both say I will be notified when my order has shipped, not that it has gone to the warehouse like others' did.

Website and emails all said 14-21 business days from the outset, shipping date has been estimated from 10/2-10/13 since original emails. Changed to "backordered" briefly yesterday but now back on 10/2-10/13. (Hasn't moved up or back at all)

I talked to AT&T and they said that all orders that went in early were bumped back to 12:01am on 9/12 to prevent any complications, FWIW.

I have 2 different order numbers for the same phone, one on the Premier order status page, one on the regular consumer page. The Premier one starts with 1016 the other starts with 2894.

Checked both My Choice on UPS and the Fedex Delivery Manager and no updates.
 
It seems every other carrier is giving tracking numbers for a delivery of launch day except ATT for the 6+..But it can't be possible that ATT doesn't have stock for 6+ and everybody else does can it? Have yet to read that an ATT 6+ pre order is coming on launch day. It just must be their system not keeping up right? My first pre order and if it doesn't come on launch I will never do this again. Ordered at 1152pm pst and congrats email at 9am sat morning. Sg 6+ 64gb

I think AT&T is conducting a social experiment and we guys are nailing it!!! Cheers!!!

I am going to experiment with switching carriers... How dare they play with our emotions like this..:) I feel like I am getting played by a woman, then she goes, "just kidding I never slept with ur best friend." As the phone comes on Friday..
