FWIW... 6+ 128 SG... ordered via Premier @ ~12:07am on 9/12. Ship date 10/2-10/13.

I just got the "your phone will ship on the dates provided" email a few minutes ago.

Bummer.

Which means it's time to spam the att twitter, email, and chat and include the links from all the csrs declaring (as it should be and as makes sense) that if you ordered within the first 24 hour period, you will have your phone at launch.

I mean why pre order otherwise? Guess they shoulda just had a 1 hour pre order event?

I ordered 4 hours after launch yet people who ordered 10 already have shipping. GG att orders next season. I bet they get the peepee whack from a very unhappy apple.

Verizon didn't have a problem giving realistic ship dates off the bat and tracking numbers early in the week...

Really guys? There's a difference between a "conservative estimate" and ridiculous, from the posts we have seen AT&T has stated these dates aren't very accurate it's more of a crap shoot. A) People who had these estimated ship dates of mid to late October an Late October to almost mid November now have had their phones shipped while others with the same date are still waiting. That is not a conservative estimate, that is a crap shoot!

Do you guy's go to the Restaurant expecting service hoping to be pleasantly surprised by good service? Of course not, why should AT&T be any different? We pay AT&T our hard earned money and we should be given great service at all times, communicated with not the "this is a busy time for us, leave us alone, your phone will get their when it gets their..."

Now I hope you guy's don't take this as me bashing you, it's really bashing AT&T but jeez raise your expectations. When you spend your money (in general) you deserve the est service possible... Who told you should lower your expectations? The phone company?

I totally agree! Especially since other carriers seem to be having much less of an issue with this. It's not just an information from Apple/availibilty/airplane/whatever else problem, its a distinctly AT&T can't get their ish together problem.

I checked out at 2:03 CST (64 GB iPhone 6 Plus) and have yet to receive anything from att. My ship date is stuck at 10/02-10-13. I think this is so ridiculous people who ordered 10 hours after me have tracking #s. I have tried UPS My Choice and FedEx delivery manager and nothing at all smh ATT.

BTW I'm in Illinois and my order # starts with 1012

No it doesn't. But the first four may. Your order starts with the numbers POST hyphen.

I ordered mine 24 mins after launch and am getting boned.

You mean a three minute event. I ordered at 12:03 Pacific. People who've ordered the same color and memory nine hours after I did have tracking info for Friday and my order is still sitting in the same status. I wonder why that would be annoying.

Well then why pre order? it used to be a guarantee on launch day. Why do you think so many people do it? if everyone knew they weren't getting it on launch day then they would have just waited 3-4 weeks and comfortably go into an apple store and upgrade.

We preorder in the hopes of getting it at the launch date. I've never gone into a preorder situation whether it be for a phone or game system thinking I was guaranteed my new toy. The odds are only better, not guaranteed in my opinion.

I still haven't gotten said email but we'll see...

6+ 16G SP
3:27 a EST on 9/12
Bumped to 10/2-10-13 on Sunday
"Preparing for a Shipment" Status

Same. Sorta. No email. Att site says preparing for shipping (10/13) while premiere site says pending.

128gb SG

Haha, I've ship date 10/2-10/13 on a SG 64GB IP6+. Called AT&T telling them that I have to have a phone by the weekend, the rep said there was nothing she can do for me. I asked her to transfer me to where I can cancel my lines. I was transfered to talk to Arnisa and told her the story again. She asked me anything she can do for me to keep me with AT&T since I am an AT&T valued customer for almost 10 years(my monthly bill is almost $300). I said I need a phone because my phone is stop working and haven't upgraded for two years. She put me on hold for 3 mins and came back telling me that she can do it for me one time that she will call my local AT&T store and reserve for me a 64GB SG IP6+, and I will be able to pickup anytime tomorrow. She promised to send me a confirmation email that I can take to the store tomorrow to pickup the phone. Just checked, my pre order was cancelled. I am waiting on the confirmation email. Woohoo finally.

I still think we will see a rush of UPS tracking numbers today. Per the link posted earlier, 5 planes flew into Louisville with iPhones last night.

Also, it seemed like most tracking numbers yesterday were from FedEx in Ft. Worth.

Time for UPS to step up!!

This is no doubt a customer service nightmare, but they have us by the balls so they don't care.

Not really. I have no qualms about walking at this point. I already pay more for AT&T than I would with other carriers. I can wait for the S model and switch carriers if it comes to that.

Now what people COULD do is start fighting AT&T on that 40 dollar BS upgrade fee. Make sure AT&T realizes there are consequences for screwing people over.

Ok people.. Calm down, It's a phone, there are a lot more important things in life.

1st. Just because you preorder something doesn't always mean you are going to get it on the first day of availability, so stop acting like you deserve it just for waking up early.

2nd. They are most likely shipping out in order depending on where you live.

3rd. Honestly, you are going to get the phone and feel cool for 5 minutes until you realize it's the same as your iphone 5 or 5s just a bigger screen.. You all will be ok if you don't get tomorrow.

1) yes it does. AtleaSt via definition and every other market I've ever used to pre order. (And I've used a few - all no issue - all launch day - all before non pre orders)

2) doubtful. People all over have tracking. People on west coast say it's east coast but I'm east coast with nada.

3) how long we enjoy it or it feels fresh is of zero relevance to their business practices or the situation at large.

To be fair - I know your trying to be positive, so no offense :p

There's been a few mention that your geographical location is potentially determining tracking info and shipping confirmation.

If it helps, I live in TN and haven't received that info for my 6+ preorder.

People here need to stop freaking out. At least you're not in my shoes...my order can't even be found when I look it up at att.com. Up until two days ago I had an order status and then I got the text saying my order was processed. After that, no order appears when I search for it. So I have no expected ship date at all and have no real clue if my order is actually going to be shipped.

Agree. I will be calling asking for that $40 back.

If I don't received my device or at least tracking by tomorrow you bet I will be calling AT&T and demanding the removal of the upgrade fee. Either that or I walk away and take 4 other lines with me and go straight to Verizon. All of our phones work just fine and we can all stand to wait...if we have to.

Ok people.. Calm down, It's a phone, there are a lot more important things in life.

Couldn't you use that logic for just about anything?

A restaurant serves you a bad meal after three hours of waiting. Calm down, It's a meal, there are a lot more important things in life.

You come back from shopping to find your car keyed. Calm down, It's a car, there are a lot more important things in life.

Everything electronic in your home was robbed while you were gone. Calm down, It's just replaceable possessions, there are a lot more important things in life.

So the moral of the story is if you whine and complain you get what you want?

Truthfully that is exactly the outlook one should have.

It is EXCEPT In this scenario. They use it to drum up press and excitement, get your cash locked in.. And then let the chips fall where they may.

Sorry but unless we all have our phones Friday, I have no clue how they justify people being able to just walk into a store and grab one off the shelf.

Point of pre ordering again?

I'm just saying I've never seen people freak out like little 2-3 year olds over a phone.. I want the phone on Friday too, but man reading through people's posts makes me wonder what the world has come to.

when I pre order in other places/markets, it's usually because I want to be one of the first to get it and companies know this. That's why you put in an order for something that is not even out yet. Okay so things get messed up and the item is back ordered, fine. but having dates well into the end of next month and uncertainty from the company you placed your pre order with is definitely not what should be happening in a pre order. if this is the case, then what exactly is the point of pre ordering?
