Someone said yesterday that there are 180k phones in a plane estimated. So that's roughly 900k more phones. We know there were 4mil preorders on day one. They must've came close to that number. Could be a good sign. Or it could just mean that have an abundance of 4.7 phones.

Actually a smidgen more. In between 200-230k. Still we had planes last night. Planes today. So far nothing's changed.

They're OBVIOUSLY all going to verizon.
 
Just chatted with a CSR to Premier account is this is what he said about waiting in line on 9/19 for a iphone plus:

Same here. My wife's iPhone 6 is shipped but is reading 2lbs. Hopefully my 6+ is with it!!!

No, the moral of the story is to take advantage of what they care- they want to keep me. They've never have to deal with me on anything from late payment to complaining about service or anything at all. Plus I have 5 lines and don't upgrade often till I need a phone. They make money on me and don't want to lose me which I know. I lied to them about my phone being broken though.

Just got the dreaded 10/2-10/13 email.

While I think it will come before that time, I highly doubt it's coming tomorrow. As jacks up an unreliable as ATT system may be.

His phone was broken as their caller ID showed the number he was upgrading LOL.

I have reason to believe that we should be receiving some sort of update by this weekend. Specifically those that ordered the 128GB's, since right now they're like unicorns.

Someone posted a pic in another thread of 6+ shipping out of memphis with a pickup time of 9am. We may have another round of shipments happening.
 
Well thats unfortunate. I asked to get my fee waived and she took that as "oh you want to know your status update?" She went on to tell me that the phone is in the warehouse ready to be shipped. I surprised her when I said I didn't care about the status update, I just wanted to get the upgrade fee waived.

She came back 2 minutes later after researching what an upgrade fee and then went on to explain what an upgrade fee was to me.

Conclusion of the story was "sorry. You were charged that for upgrading. We can't waive that."
 
I would be that the poor souls feeding our iPhone addiction are up all night and experience that magic moment ...

"Ok! Last one! WOOHOO! They're all in boxes and scanned and ready t-- what? UPS 109 from Anchorage just landed? WHAT? AND ANOTHER FRAKKING PLANE FROM CHINA IS INBOUND?!?!! WHEN DO I GET TO GO HOME?!?!"

Well you would "think" that they have a night shift going but if they were going round the clock I would expect more updates and tracking numbers going out during the day.

Ugh... I was so optimistic . Now I'm feeling pretty much the opposite.

Anyone else at all still stuck at 10/13-10/22? Ugh
 
As the likely outcome of us waiting, and not receiving our pre-ordered phones on launch day is quickly getting close to reality, the tension and hostility here has made this thread disgusting in so many ways. I'm the last person to judge anyone, but don't you guys think we need to stay on topic instead of insulting people, their intelligence, along with race and special needs? This is out of control, and I certainly hope a MOD erases some of this nonsense to allow us all to wallow in our misery together. :)
 
LOL at everyone having a hissyfit because they won't be receiving their phones tomorrow.

With that being said, I received an email this morning saying that my Oct date stands. This is a positive because I wanted to call in to try to get my upgrade fee waived.

Oh yeah, I ordered 5 minutes before preorder. Getting upset won't change anything. It won't make your phone miraculously arrive any quicker.

It would if people directed the anger properly.

And your point can be argued on a more basic level considering a page back someone called att and said he was done if he didn't get one and they reserved one for him.
