I'm trying to think if I'll be mad if my phone doesn't show tomorrow. The more I think about it the more I think I probably won't be mad, but I will very likely not preorder from ATT again but rather Apple; no matter how long it takes.

The story from early about the warehouse manager stating ATT messed up Premiere orders is ridiculous if true from a business standpoint.

They wouldn't just mess up and not do anything about it. I don't buy that nonsense for one second.
 
I already called four stores around my area, as of right now they lines are over 10+ people long and no +'s at the moment. The limited stock they are getting will be going to the pre-order pick ups

How were they allowed to pre order pickup through att? I'm pretty sure Apple was only doing in store pick-ups. Either way I'm not canceling my pre order until I know for a fact they have at least one 64gb + at this store.
 
Okay so has anyone in socal received tracking info for their 6+? I live in L. a. and from what I believe is that our phones are in Ontario and don't need to be shipped out until the very latest.
 
Been reading this forum since it started. I'm feeling everyone and I'm right along with everyone and your anxiety and frustration with the whole preorder, shipping dates status changes, etc.

It seems to me that many of the posters who have not received shipping confirmations are iPhone 6 Pluses with 16 or 64GB models in Space Gray. Some actually got theirs shipped.

How is it looking for you who ordered iPhone 6 Pluses in Space Gray with 128GB of storage?

Ordered through AT&T, Premier member. 128GB SG 6+. Order placed 3:35 AM EDT 12-Sept. Dates have shifted back and forth but sitting at 2-Oct since Tuesday.

FWIW g/f is also premier member through Verizon. Ordered 16GB SG 6+ shortly after I ordered mine. Been at Delivery by 14-Oct since.

No tracking for either of us.
 
That's exactly my point when I spoke to her, I ordered mine at 3.18am my friend ordered hers at 11am EST. She received her tracking number last night.

Laura told me on the phone that some of the earlier orders are messed up. Like I didn't receive my confirmation email until 4.58am that day which supposedly puts me in a different batch or something or other. It doesn't make sense. Because even if I am in a later batch (1.5 hours back lets say) I should still be ahead of someone that put in an order at 11AM...shouldn't I?

Your entire situation is just like mine in terms of order times...
 
You do realize that this person is most likely an intern and has no more information than we are getting from the chat reps?

It doesn't make sense to talk to any of them, no one at AT&T knows anything. The only thing different she told me is that my order was messed up because of the time I placed it and the time I received my confirmation email.

whatever if I don't have anything by Monday when the madness calms down I will cancel my "pre-order" and head to an apple store which I'm pretty sure will probably have ample stock by then.

also I never received that email most of you guys are receiving. I don't know if that's good or bad.

same here, and I'm one of the few that had a 10/2 date from the beginning.

feel like those of us who truly ordered in the first hour that the system went live (I was about 3:30 AM EDT) are getting screwed.

I actually do believe that they screwed up the initial orders. It almost seems like there's a point where they flushed the system and started fresh sometime in the mid morning last Friday, and the lucky orders that made it through from then on were actually considered first. Then maybe they reallocated all of us seemingly unlucky people who actually ordered at midnight PDT behind the ones that ordered later in the morning for some reason, and we got reallocated when many orders switched to "backordered" and then back to a proper shipping date over the weekend.

I guess I'm just playing devil's advocate and trying to make sense of why the hell I don't have a tracking number yet lol

Hope you are on to something. I live in SD, and still waiting for my tracking info. Maybe if we head out to Ontario and ask nicely?

I have two apple stores in my area, they are insane with lines and I didn't even ask about pre-orders. I have a radioshack and bestbuy both took pre-orders.
 
Going off of this report of premier orders being "messed up", my confirmation email did not come until 7:33am, which basically means I'm screwed? Sounds like it. If the orders were indeed "messed up", they we are owed an explanation.

That's a terrible idea... whatever stock they have will get sold out within minutes of opening the doors tomorrow morning, and then they won't carry anymore in store until the preorders have been filled and there's a surplus of phones (hard to imagine right now that there ever will be, ha!).

If you wait until Monday to make a move on an in-store purchase, be prepared to only be able to get the 6. After tomorrow, no stores will have stock of the 6+ until late October/early November. I think most of us know that.

It would take a lot for ATT to publicly comment on such a thing. I don't expect it.

Which email did you not receive till then? The first "confirmation" or the second "ATT ORDER STATUS"?
 
I ordered my 6+ 64gb silver from premier a few minutes after predate started. Didn't not receive my conformation until 4:34am that morning. I am in Jacksonville Florida. I'll wait until tomorrow to complain since the phone still may show up tomorrow. I do not have a tracking number and still says preparing to ship.
 
its good from date of purchase, so you are fine, also, if you have them send you trade in offer, which shows you the promo code, its good for 21 days, so just do that on the 29th if you don't have your phone yet

Per their flyer the offer expires on 9/30/2014.

Oh I see, you take your phone in and get a quote and then have another 21 days to trade it in? Odd.

That's what I thought. I got in ten minutes before launch and received both of those emails before the midnight launch time. I am still in the 10/2-10/13 ship date status. These reps have no clue what they are saying.

For what it's worth, I have a twitter chain saved from @ATTCustomerCare that told me as long as we Pre-Ordered by 9/30, we are eligible for the trade in offer regardless of when it ships. The shipping confirmation email should have info on the trade in.

If for some reason that's the wrong info (From AT&T? Shocking I know to even suggest it), then I will ask to speak to a manager and show them the proof that I was told I would be eligible for this deal.
