I haven't really looked at the other threads, but I'm pretty sure there's a shortage of 6Plus that doesn't have anything to do with AT&T. If they didn't have much stock to work with in the first place there's not much they can do.

They can follow the order of who preordered when. That is what you're supposed to do, you serve the people in the front of the line. You don't randomly throw out phones and expect people to be happy.

Well, the good news is nobody got tracking today yet... Are we due for massive tracking update batch??? I hope so...

That's it....

No more ordering any **** from AT&T, they are dead, lets spread the news over twitter and facebook to stop using AT&T

The reasonable thing to do is wait until end of day tomorrow to reach that conclusion.

You will look mighty silly if you do all if that and the phone ends up on your doorstep tomorrow.

This is not just directed at you but all others who are understandably upset.

It's very possible for the phone to arrive before you get any tracking notification.

i think the frustration comes in that folks are seeing other people post that they have shipping info and if you were one of the people that ordered early or even within the first 10-15 minutes of the 12:01 start time for pre-orders, then well one gets very very frustrated... Yes, there have been articles of short supply due to quality issues, short supply due to plant strike, and now what supply there is - is split across a lot of carriers.... but back to the first come first serve approach, if my order was in... i should have a phone... it just doesn't seem to be playing out that way.
 
EVERYONE who pre-ordered from Verizon, Sprint, or T-Mo in the first few hours sans a few stragglers have gotten tracking numbers or have had their cards charged in advance of their phones being shipped.

My co-workers and friends are on Verizon and Sprint and the ones who ordered 6+'s have all gotten tracking #'s. They ordered 2am-ish PST.

ok after reading all the people ready to slit their wrist's i was checking the premier site as well then i logged into myatt site checked my orders and my iphone6 128gig space grey has shipped ! fed ex has it delivering tomorrow ! I'm in nevada and its shipping from memphis

can we go to the store tomorrow and pick up a phone using our upgrade and cancel the one we placed online?


Not likely...They wouldn't with the 5's. I heard some times they would if the person made a huge stink in the store.

But ... They will tell everyone that it is impossible.

I paid full retail for the one I ordered online, so I didn't affect my contract.

This is true. If you look back at the iPhone 4 launch threads, you'll see that some people didn't get tracking info until the middle of the night before. Especially the premier orders. It doesn't look great for tomorrow, but it's still possible. Tracking is not a precise art.

That is so frustrating to see. I could understand a little better if it was the same for every carrier, but for it to be specifically AT&T alone having trouble.... it's just mind-boggling.

Either AT&T just completely **** the bed on this, or maybe we're all in for a pleasant surprise by tomorrow evening?

If it's the former, I have to admit I'm very tempted to switch carriers when I get the iPhone 7.
 
Because AT&T is a ****ing colossus. They've gotten so big that they don't need customer accountability anymore, so they can **** us over a few times before they "have" to change their ways.

It's so frustrating... even SPRINT of all companies is having better luck with this whole thing.. I had sprint... I would rather use a carrier pigeon than their network.
I should never have left Big Red... Verizon..I'm so sorry, take me back with a launch day 6+ PLEEEEEEEEASE.

Maybe true but it doesn't rectify the issue of late preorders getting tracking (and probably deliver) before those that were early.

Actually there is, a note on the order page saying low on stock when you selected 64gb sg 6+. They knew exactly how many of what were getting allocated to them. Letting us know would have kept them some customers...Instead of being quite through this whole thing, kinda shady. Sorta like the NFL lately.. as Rodger Goodell would say in this situation as the head of ATT. "Nobody from this office knew their would be a low supply of the 6+ sg model.....to my knowledge"..lol....

FWIW, I ordered a 6+ (128 gig) at about 3:45AM on the 12th. From the beginning I was given a date of 10/13-10/22. Got a text yesterday confirming shipping. Tracking the FedEx shipment shows it is in Newark, NJ right now. That's very close to me.

I just wish I had know I would get it so soon. I never bothered to order any kind of case. In desperation I ordered some crappy thing from Amazon. I also ordered the Apple Leather case but that won't be here till the end of next week.

I've been monitoring this thread and just thought I would add my experience to the mix.

What color did you get?

I just screenshot the post on twitter! @dbeautyjunkie some guy was thanking them for bumping his order to 9/17 - 9/18 delivery for their error with his premier order! The guys twitter is @deamontmaster they bumped him from 10/14 - 11/03
 
I ordered 2 iPhone 6+'s SG 128GB one directly from AT&T site @ 3:03 am EST ship date 10/13-10/22 bumped to 10/2-10/13 on Monday no new info or charges to CC. The other one from the Apple App Store @ 4:33 am EST with ship date of 10/1-10/7 now says preparing to ship cancel button gone and charge for tax back on my CC. Looks like I might be getting the Apple ordered one first even though it was ordered later. Anyone else order from both sites have similar circumstances?
 
My "Cancel Preorder" button is back. **** AT&T. Never ordering from them again. I'm canceling my order and Im gonna go get a flip phone. I can't not have a phone for 2 more weeks.

How do some of you guys not even have a phone? You don't currently have any cellphone at all? Did you have one and it just magically quit working when you ordered an iPhone 6?
