My iPhone 6+ 64GB SG must be coming in a mighty fine box with the finest of packaging peanuts... It's been preparing to ship for 7 days now!

I expect the best tape, the sturdiest cardboard, and precision box folding!

iPhone 6+ 64GB SG
Ordered 3:38 EST via Premier
Charge Fell Off
10/2-10/13 expected

i just spit out my water. Same thing here. I ordered at 3:07 and i''m in the same boat. People I know ordered phones at 10 EST and getting it tomorrow. hahaha I guess it's life.

What if our phones do come tomorrow without us knowing or getting tracking info like many have in previous years. And we are not home to receive it cause we weren't informed. Then it will go back to the facility, and then it will be the weekend and we wont be able to go get it.....I guess that would be better than it not come at all, well would it...

Or better then being left there and stolen

So I was checking that flight aware site. It appears there's several planes comI g into Louisville overnight but I'm wondering, does Apple ship those via ups directly, or do these go to some AT&T warehouse first to be assigned tracking numbers and ship?

It may be different where you are, but I believe if that happened to me I could head to the nearest UPS facility (about 25 minute drive from here) and try to pick it up after hours Friday. Otherwise, I believe they would try again Saturday. It's been a long time since I had this happen, but that's my vague recollection.

So I am in the same boat as everyone else, ordered the 6+ 64GB SG a few minutes after the release, I have the shipping date of beg to mid October. What I find interesting is a message in my account inbox today:

I LOVE these posts that prove how automated and clueless ATT system is. It's frustrating, relieving, funny and sad!

not sure about that, I got my confirmation at 448am from a 3.18am order. According to Laura @ATTPremier the premier orders had a "glitch" with their time stamps so some orders during the first couple of hours of ordering may have been affected. But who knows since ATT IS SAYING NOTHING AT ALL

Exactly. I got in the site early and one of my confirmations is actually dated 9/11.... Oh wait a minute, I just figured it out. 9/11.... THIS IS A TERRORIST ATTACK!!!!

I ordered late. I get it.
I am not expecting to get on launch day. I just would like to have it before Thanksgiving.
Original order date 11/11-11/27 now it is showing 10/31 to 11/11.
No communication since that first email received at 6:43am.
I just want my Gold 6+ 64gb ( or know when I will get it with certainty), is that too much to ask for?

They moved you up 2 weeks. You should be happy!

Per their flyer the offer expires on 9/30/2014.

Oh I see, you take your phone in and get a quote and then have another 21 days to trade it in? Odd.

you can actually get the quote on your phone. Call **ATTBB and press 1 to get the coupon code. They text you a URL which has the code saved in in stating the quote is good for 21 days (and shows the promotional increase for trade in) and what not too and instructs you to show the quote to the AT&T person when you go to the store to trade it in.

I see, after hours? I have a ton of ones close to me. within 5 minutes. but how after hours if they are closed, and I thought no weekend delivery's?

Not sure if they are doing it the same way, but my iPhone 5 came inside a box that had a few brochures and a inkjet printed page (sadly printed with almost-empty cartridges...) about available cases. If it's being done the same way then it's probably delivered by UPS to a major hub and then to the AT&T fulfillment centers.

What we really need is someone from the inside to give us some insight into their process. It would go a loooong way towards explaining the logjam.

Ordered 6+ 64 gb silver @ 1:51 AM CST on September 12 & received confirmation email almost immediately. At 2:09 AM CST received order confirmation. Original shipping range 10-02-10-13.

FedEx shipping information with tracking number posted around 11:30 AM CST yesterday. Scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Life is good:)

You can trade your phone in without the code. Friend of mine just walked in and did it at the ATT store. Didn't even have a 6 ordered.

At any rate, according to attcustomercare twitter, they will honor the promo as long as you ordered the phone before the 9/30 expiration.

ya but you need to sign for these...I do know my UPS guy always comes before noon. and I talked to him a couple days ago and asked if he could come earlier, was tempted to give him 20$ to bring at 7am...lol.... If it even comes tomorrow..

Totally off topic but never go with insurance through your carrier. Applecare+ is half the cost and they handle you better. Trust me.

Really appreciate the info. Thank you!

After reading through all these different messages and situations I've come to the following conclusions:

1. Apparently anyone that is a premier client got shafted unless att honors the time we ordered. I say this because people ordering the same phones way later in the day are getting tracking numbers. If att honors that eventually then we will be fine.

2. Could also be that different planes coming from China are causing the delay. So if your order batch was on that specific plane and it hasn't been keyed in to ups or fedex system that's why you haven't got an order update.

Well see how it plays out tomorrow.. my wife's Regular iphone 6 is in transit for tomorrow delivery from ontario, ca I'm in Los Angeles. But what makes it less likely I'm getting it tomorrow is nothing from ups my choice or fedex delivery manager..

Here's an odd one. A little after orders opened, I went with ATT like most due to the Apple site issues. Ordered a 6 for me and a 6+ 128GB in Silver for the wifey.

Received the shipping info for mine, and not surprisingly I am still waiting on hers. However, when I looked at the weight of the packaged shipped, it's coming in at 2lbs which is noticeably heavier than what others have been posting from their shipping info.

Any idea if in the past they consolidated the shipping on multiple phones going to the same address?
