Apple reps are Americans. I've seen apple job postings and they are work from home jobs for phone and chat based support.
2nd guessing my 6+ order... If I ordered a 6 128GB Space Grey right now, do you guys think it would deliver by Friday? Or am I too late![]()
It looks like folks are getting tracking numbers without the shipping estimate dates being updated, so that means those estimates are worthless. I created a new form to help track when phones are being shipped to help estimate when other phones will be shipped.

I ordered a silver 64 GB 6 (not 6+) at about 3:03 am Eastern time via premier, but my order status has always said 9/23 - 10/2 for estimated ship dates.
I sat on hold with the AT&T Premier help line for almost an hour. I asked the agent if I was going to receive the phone before October 1st since I will be gone for the entire month of October, and she said I was not likely to receive it by October, despite ordering the phone within a few minutes of the availability. She advised me to cancel my order if I don't receive any updates via email in the near future.
I ordered a silver 64 GB 6 (not 6+) at about 3:03 am Eastern time via premier, but my order status has always said 9/23 - 10/2 for estimated ship dates.

You misinterpreted the nature of my comment.
Customer Care told me I couldn't cancel, I could only return it once I got the device. AT&T retail store said the same thing.
That sounds on par for canceling orders on the premiere store. Did you do a Next upgrade, a 2 yr upgrade, or buy outright?

Athina : After reviewing the information you supplied I see your chatting in regards to your shipping date. Any order ordered on 9/12 or 9/13 should be receiving their orders on 9/19. Customers are seeing pushed back dates because our system is on a default setting and when the website was getting a lot of orders put in, it automatically pushed the dates back. You should have nothing to worry about and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Athina : They usually send out a tracking number once the order is about to be shipped in a confirmation email.

Athina : Not if it's overnight shipping. It wont be shipped out till tomorrow or the next day maybe.

Ugh MyChoice suckssss. It won't allow me to enter in my name because apparently my nickname and address are already in use. I have a name that can be lengthened or shortened and the package is coming in my longer name and MyChoice is set up to use my short name. (Ex. Chris/Christopher, Joe/Joseph, etc)
Yeah if my phone hasn't shipped by Friday morning, I'll just wait in line at my local AT&T store, have them cancel my preorder and I should be able to get the unit I want there.

Just got off the phone with an AT&T rep. Pretty much, the iphones are being shipped out on the 19th which means it will be very rare to get it on Friday. He recommended to me that if your status does not say shipped and you do not have a tracking number. Go to any store friday morning that will be selling them and buy it there and have at&t cancel your preorder.
