Just got off the phone with an AT&T rep. Pretty much, the iphones are being shipped out on the 19th which means it will be very rare to get it on Friday. He recommended to me that if your status does not say shipped and you do not have a tracking number. Go to any store friday morning that will be selling them and buy it there and have at&t cancel your preorder.

I asked, "so I will get my phone on friday?" and she was like "yup!"
 
i find it entertaining that everybody keeps calling reps like they know anymore than we do. THEY DONT! lol. they are literally reading the same screen as you, if they are even doing that.

Y'all need to stop bothering the CS reps every other hour asking them questions they don't know the answer to.
 
pray to steve jobs u guys get solid iphones wit 0 defects. ATT charges restocking fee for swapping out a defect for example *yellow tint screens*...

On an unrelated topic I called apple support for a simple computer related question and at the end when he asked me if there was anything else he could do I said jokingly "can you tell me where my iPhone is" he had a good chuckle and said "you have no idea, thats all we get in every department right now"

We have successfully annoyed all the customer service reps

iPhone 6+ Orders

My cancel button is gone and I just spoke to Premier rep. She told me that my orders looked good to go and not to mind the ship dates posted on their site. She let me know that my two orders were setup to ship with FedEx two day service. Phones have not shipped yet, but she said because of how early my order was placed, I should not be waiting until October for my orders. In fact, she said I could feel good about getting it really soon.

Yeah if my phone hasn't shipped by Friday morning, I'll just wait in line at my local AT&T store, have them cancel my preorder and I should be able to get the unit I want there.
 
There really is no reason other than a problem with your order/charges to contact AT&T reps until after Friday about shipping "entitlements". I am as anxious as everyone else, and the only thing I can do is watch UPS MyChoice, my e-mail, att.com, and here for updates. I must say I check with regularity because I am that anxious for my new phone. I have a 4s, and this will be an incredible upgrade for me. As with any new gadget, I'm beyond excited and am even more excited to jailbreak it when one is released for iOS8. Keep the minute updates coming everyone....I love being a maniac about this.

Nice. My cancel button also disappeared. 6+ 64gb space grey, shipping dates 10/2-10/13. Hopefully we get a shipping notification tonight.

Good luck with that! I tried to cancel mine all day on 9/12 from work and I even reached the cancellation page, but in the end what happens? I get text twice from AT&T saying "congratulations your order has been processed". And now my AT&T account shows 2 different orders, one that I placed for the phone and another blank.

BTW, iphone 6 order says, processing will ship 9/17 - 9/18.

You have to call in to cancel, i canceled one on saturday

There's no need, unless you have a genuinely out of the ordinary or unique issue. I don't understand why so many people are contacting reps. Their very presence on this forum, reading through all these posts and engaging here makes 99.9% of people here more knowledgeable than the rep. It's taxing to the rep and the system and doesn't really do any good to either party. People just end up more confused, anxious, and frustrated than before they contacted the rep. I, too, feel the anxiety but I'm venting and bringing it here rather than to the reps. :)

Ask your question(s) here and I bet you get a better, more informed and rational answer.
