I think folks who ordered the Plus from AT&T can finally have real hope now. They DO obviously have some inventory for launch.
 
I now have a tracking number. It will be here Friday. It was indeed shipped on 9/15 and has been sitting at Ft. Worth since then. Since I ordered late on Friday I think there is a good chance you will get yours too. Mine is gray-16g-6. I found the tracking number by calling 877-782-8870. Neither regular or premier site has tracking info yet. In fact, premier still shows preorder processing.

Ok, So I called and they continue to say that I will not get my phone till October 13-31st.. This is nuts. Probably going to cancel and go to a different carrier (Verizon)
 
If I ordered my 16gb Gold iPhone 6 on 9/15, when do all you guys think I'll get it? The delivery dates are 9/24-10/3. Hoping to get it earlier!

I ordered mine (iPhone 6 16GB silver) at 5pm on the 12th and my shipping date has always been 9/23-10/2. I think it is safe to say you will get yours towards the end of September.
 
I'm getting 10/13-10/31 for the regular iPhone 6 64 GB in space grey. I ordered from a company-owned AT&T store in the evening on pre-order day. I would've done the online preorder, but AT&T reps had told me the night before that I had to do the order in store to get the $200 trade-in on my iPhone 4S. Seems barely worth the trouble in retrospect.

Personally, I really feel lied to because the rep in the store told me specifically and repeatedly that the ETA on the 6+ wasn't until November, but he guaranteed that I'd have the 6 on launch day or Saturday, if the shipping carrier couldn't make the delivery by Friday night. After I left the store, I got an email with the October timeframe. I went back to the store, but no one wanted to talk to me, the queue was 10 people, and my rep had left.

Anyway, I called AT&T at their main line and they said they couldn't help me and said AT&T Premier was handling all pre-orders. I told the guy I ordered in store, and he said those too and transferred me. After 45 minutes, AT&T Premier picks up and tells me they don't handle my order. I got angry and she looked my stuff up and told me the same as the online status has always said. I called the other phone number in the email and the automated message said my order was backordered and didn't give any dates.

All told, I really feel like I've been lied to and poorly treated by AT&T all along the way, despite them charging me and my family over $200 a month now and we've had them from before their Cingular days.

I'm less pissed about the October timeframe for when I ordered (although that's still crazy) but because I'd have either made my prorder online that night or just bought from Apple if they had just been honest and accurate with their information from the get-go. I hate that company.

Wow. Calm down. It is just what amounts to a shiny new toy. It is not worth getting all upset over.

You do understand that they recieved hundreds of thousands if not MILLIONS of pre-orders, don't you? Do you realize the logistic nightmare this causes? If you ask me, they are doing a pretty good job of handling all these orders.

The customer service reps can only tell you what they've been told by their superiors. It's people like you who call and demand things and stomp their feet that are the real issue here.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the wait! Your phone will be in your hands before you know it.:cool:
 
Just thought I'd add my info to the fray, since I've been following this thread way too much:

I ordered a slvr iphone 6 plus 128gb, and a gold iphone 6 16gb at about 2:30am pst on the 12th. The 6 has always shown a shipping date of 9/17-9/18, while the plus started at 7-14 days availability, then ship date of mid October, then late October to beginning of November, then bumped back up to mid October yesterday. I don't recall ever having seen a cancel order button, but it definitely wasn't there yesterday. This morning, at&t's order status page says both have shipped, with FEDEX tracking numbers. Yay. I think this is more proof that at&t's ship dates on their order status pages can be very incorrect. My order # starts with 2010 and I am a new (returning) at&t customer.
 
You're giving me hope that I may receive some good news yet. (Space gray 128GB 6 Plus ordered at 11:57pm 9/11; been stuck at 10/2-10/13 the whole time.) Come on, ATT! :)

You ordered the same configuration as me however you beat my order by 5 minutes (I'm in the same window of 10/2-10/13). I just called the order status line (the pessimistic one) and it still says on back order. I wonder if our particular configuration is too rare or popular causing us to not get it Friday.
 
I know this is a bit off topic, but does anyone know how the iPhone trade in works for AT&T? Is it for just the phone itself? Or do you need all the accessories that came with it? I'd like to keep the charger from my iPhone 5 to have a spare to leave at work. Also, the Earpods have been used and are barely functioning.Can I go into the store and trade it in there? I have already pre-ordered a 6 which is coming Friday if that matters or changes anything.
 
It looks like no one who had their order processed threw "premier" has gotten a tracking number for the 6+. Thats a shame

Why... just go to the AT&T on launch day.. wait in line and then when you get there have them cancel your online order. If you went to AT&T you wouldnt get the phone by then anyways.

Estimated shipping range has always been 10/13-10/31 except the back-order thing everybody seemed to have gotten on Sunday.
 
My tracking info showed up on the website about 6am but I didn't get a shipping confirmation e-mail from AT&T till 9am .
On the confirmation it shows the correct phone but the incorrect data plan.
It dropped me from the 10GB shared plan to a "grandfathered" 1GB plan.
Called AT&T and was told that the plan definitely did switch so I need to call back when I activate the phone to have the plan sitched back.

Well THIS was a pleasant surprise! I just received a text message notification that my iPhone 6 Plus - originally estimated to be shipped 10/2-10/13 (bumped from 10/13-10/22) - has actually shipped and will arrive on Friday. WHOO!

So, hang in there if you placed your order online relatively early. I got mine in at 1:30a PT through the AT&T site.

Interesting to note that stock has been sitting in Fort Worth, TX since Monday.

I'm in the exact same boat as you as far as what I ordered and what the proposed dates were... except I ordered at about 12:05pt and I still haven't gotten a shipping confirmation... You would think that they'd process these in the order received.. hmmm.

I did. IP6 silver 16GB. I ordered 9/12 around 10PM EST. Right now the its shipping with fedex. Shipping initiated on 9/15. Will be delivered by 9/19.

One interesting thing, is my shipping details were posted only today morning. till then it was showing preparing for shipment.

My guess is that your order is alreay on the way but ATT is still catching up on updating order status.

Since I have two IP5's to trade-in I plan to take both IP6 to the local AT&T store for activation, then trade-in the 5's. BE SURE you call ahead as some stores have different policies.
 
I ordered through Premier about 12:45am. Received two $1 debit holds then went to bed. Received order confirmation email around 5:45am. Kept checking and said processing. I then received a call from my bank that afternoon and they had placed a hold so I proceeded to call the automated Premier line and re-entered my cc info and they released the order. Within a minute I received a debit pending notice from my bank for $499.99 then a minute after that one for $542.49. I now have and still have a hold for $1000 that i cannot use on my bank. I called and they checked and checked and only saw one order. It eventually showed up on the standard att.com account but with a different order number. It was explained the Premier processes the order then sends it to att and that is why it is in two placed. She only saw one pending charge with my name. Still hoping I get one phone and one charge drops off so I can have my money back!

There will be a flyer with a code in your IP6 box so you can do it online if you want. they send you a box
 
Congrats to those who have received tracking numbers.

My Silver 64GB 6, on the other hand, seems to be going backwards. It's been showing shipping 9/17-9/18 all along, but now it just shows pending. Anyone else with the same problem?

Ordered around 2am PST through Premier.

Somehow I do have the feeling it's partially because fewer people are getting the 16 gig 6 this time. But who knows.
