AT&T Pre-order status

I think I remember the time I placed the order being around 2:54 EST or something like that. I have the October 2nd - October 13th shipping date. I've not received any tracking number obviously because my shipping date is what feels like 72 years from now... My shipping status says: Preparing to Ship. Also what's the deal with order numbers? Mine starts with 1961 and then there's a DASH so it starts with "1961-" anyone else seen anything like this?

edit: I just called and they said my order was back-ordered.

Nope. My order # starts with 2010. No dash. lol

If i was to cancel the order and pick it up in store instead and try my luck. How fast would my credit/upgrade be back on the site. Could the ATT Store cancel it for me and get my upgrade back and buy what they have in store?

Just to chime in with my experiences.

I ordered a Space Gray 64GB 30 min before launch. Heard nothing until I checked my order status by logging into my AT&T account this morning at 12:30am and saw it was shipped along with a tracking number. For science I tried to see if if I got the same status by clicking on the "order status page" provided in the email that AT&T sent me after I placed my order and I saw "pending shipment." I received a text at 6am with the tracking # then an email today at 5:30pm with the tracking #.

This goes to show that the most current status is shown by logging into your account.

Order at 2:30am EST (FL)

Shipped via FedEx.

From what I heard this is supposed to be good news for ya. Pending Confirmation on the Premier page seems to be the equivalent of "Shipped".

Got the same message as well. Check your ATT.com status. It should say Shipped, but still no tracking number as of right now.

My order is 1010 also, I figured I would be getting mine on launch from what I've seen so far, but I guess not...

I'm not sure the first 4 numbers are sequential. They could be model or plan related. I ordered two phones the first order I placed has the first 4 numbers as 1018 the second order placed minutes later has the first 4 numbers 1016. If they were sequential, that makes no sense.

They might as well have said "because of a Godzilla attack iPhones will be shipped when available, Your expected shipdate is whatever your screen says. Have a nice day and god save us from this fire breathing lizard monster!"

The reps that people call literally look up the screen you look up. They don't have any more information then you do.

I'm ok if it doesnt come on the 19th; but my order status has said Shipping date 9.17-9.18 for the whole week.

I just checked with AT&T and the rep told me "we don't have any physical inventory in our warehouses yet." She was the order status rep and said she couldn't access shipping information. I just laughed.

Got shipping email today at 6:16. Will be delivered by Fedex by 8pm. I'm in MD btw and my phone left Forth Worth last night at 9:15pm

Let me state the details of my order so that you guys know what's going on.

iPhone 6 - 64GB - Space Gray
Order Placed @ 5PM EST via AT&T Premier
Estimated shipping dates stayed at Oct.13 - Oct.31 the entire time, except the back-order status everybody had on Sunday.

And... it is now shipped. I hope it's true.

Wife's IP6+ has shipped status oon ATT and fedex tracking #, as of this afternoon.

My IP+ is still preparing ship on ATT, and eta ship of 17th-18th. No tracking #.
UPS sit has ATT package arriving Friday.

I just left my local ATT store and they said if my phone has not shipped by Friday morning to be at the store when they open... they would try to cancel the order and if they can't... they'll just give me one on a new line and I can send the one I ordered back when it arrives.

I wouldnt wanna get rid of my old line since i have the grandfathered unlimited plan still, so that would be a huge problem.

I actually tried to do this, they said they couldn't cancel because it was already in the warehouse. Mine still doesn't show as shipped though, however I live in Dallas which is 30 minutes from the distribution warehouse.

I originally had a ship date of 9/23-10/02. It shipped today with delivery on Friday via fed ex.

Ordered 64 silver white plus (premier) roughly 12:05pm eastern. But the app still has me at 10/2/14 to 10/13/14...in the past when I have ordered with att my phones have shipped next day air from Memphis or TX to Michigan without little notice... Trying to keep the faith, worse case I think I will get it sometime next week.

Sorry, had to get that off my chest. And no, my ship date hasn't moved up from the twelfth of never. But I did get to stay on hold for 20 minutes before the nice young lady informed me that she had to transfer me to another 20 minute hold where they'll do nothing for me.

On the upside, I discovered a new game. Every 15-25 seconds when the recording says "your call is very important to us", I'd come up with something like "all evidence to the contrary" or "of course it is"... different each time. Really helps keep the mind fresh.

My space grey 64GB iPhone 6, ordered around 9am Eastern shipped today!! It had originally been listed as shipping in 7-14 business days, then as 10/13-10/31 and up until today as 9/23-10/02. It shipped with FedEx from Fort Worth, TX at 12:41pm and is scheduled with Standard Overnight to be delivered on Friday by 3pm.

Everything you describe sounds exactly like me… except that I'm still at 9/23-10/2. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll see an update; the HOPE is strong with this one!

Ordered my iPhone 6 64GB Space Gray through AT&T Premier website at 8am west coast time on the 12th. Status on AT&T website right now says expected ship date 9/23 - 10/3 (updated from 10/13-10/31 on Tuesday night). However I just got an e-mail from UPS My Choice that says that I have a package from AT&T that is going to be delivered 9/19 by end of day! What a pleasant hump-day surprise!

I have my tracking number through mychoice. It says left Memphis on 9/15. I did notice my pending payment has dropped of my bank statement.

Not really worried about it, just curious.
