Wow, I think ATT really is working round the clock! I was SO close to giving up on this whole thing tonight, because other than the bump in dates like everyone else had (for me up to 10/2-10/13), I haven't gotten any emails or texts since Saturday, all the pending charges on my account since
9/12 haven't updated, my att account was stuck on "last update: 9/12".... I was really starting to worry, so I decided to check my bank account ONE more time tonight, and lo and behold, the charge for the phone taxes has finally disappeared!!! I didn't have any issues with my credit card for the order, so I know the charge disappearing means my order is on the move! Don't give up hope, my fellow 6+ers! We might get our phones on Friday after all! ☺

Not yet, from what I've seen in other posts, the dropped charge happens first, then they charge you again once your phone has a tracking number and is shipped. I didn't have a problem with my cc, so in this case, the. dropped charge is a sign that the order is really being prepared for shipment. Should have a tracking number tomorrow, I hope!!
Well, I ordered my Slate Gray iPhone 6+ 128 GB at around 1:30am PT on preorder night.
The order status still says "Preparing to ship." Shipping date 10/13-10/22. Unchanged since preorder night.
No info from UPS Choice, no info from Fedex.
You guys think I still have any luck of magically getting it on launch day?

Nah.. I ordered the 4 with att. It disappeared, didn't show up till a week till I had the phone with a good 200+ dollars added to the bill lol.

I'm in the exact same boat, I'd like to know as well. However, I didn't get a plus unfortunately as by the time I went into the att store and took the bus there it was 11am, after they had cancelled my first plus order. By then, it was November ship dates.

If you didn't initially have problems with your cc, then yes, it's a good thing. The charge was a hold/pending, so once it drops, it should reappear quickly as a cleared charge, and once that happens, you should get a tracking number, because ATT can only charge you once your phone has shipped.
Oh okay I was all confused cuz some people did order early totally not cool by the way 12:01 pst should have meant 12:01 pst not 11:45 or whatever
Check and see if it's a pending charge from 9/12. They can't actually charge you until they ship you your phone, they can only run a hold for your funds.

It's thursday, no tracking under UPS or FEDEX with reference, att ship date says 13th-31st with AT&T. Should I cancel and risk going into the att store tomorrow?
Thats what i did, I didnt get any updates tonight so i gave up and cancelled it and hitting up the att store n other stores.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but if the hold falls off before the actual transaction posts, that's more likely an indicator it did NOT ship yet as they don't sent the actual charge until it ships.
I live in Anchorage, ordered 4 6s one at a time within the first hour. All 16 GBs: 1 grey, 1 gold, 2 white. All have been shipped with FedEx and, presumably came to Anchorage ... and then went on to Ft Worth. All have now been shipped and are en route to be back in Anchorage tomorrow and will almost certainly be delivered on Friday. In fact, the phones are probably already here and embargoed to prevent early delivery.

my hold fell off earlier today, and at&t still said pending. then tonight it said shipped with a tracking #, and it had been shipped on 9/13. the transaction still hasnt posted permanently to my CC account. So I wouldn't give up hope just yet.
