Basically, they told me not to get my hopes up for tomorrow. It said I still have a 10/2-10/13 shipping estimate. I was not getting my hopes up anyway. Better to just accept that AT&T gets a lot of pre-orders as the largest iphone carrier and Apple does not give them sufficient inventory on these roll outs. It's just the way it is. I'd say the majority of iphone 6+ pre-orders should take those estimates as fairly accurate. Just my guess. I think the inventory estimates are getting better and better on each roll out. Sucks to wait, but it's not life threatening. Although my wife did break her screen yesterday. LOL

Fedex/ATT have this down to a science. My phone was shipped last Sunday, 9/14 via "Standard Overnight" but with delayed service requested.
It didn't leave Fort Worth until Tuesday. It arrived in Newark NJ last night. This morning it now says "Shipping information sent to Fedex"... So technically it will arrive overnight, even though it took 5 days.

I spoke with both Apple and AT&T.
Apple is stating that those that ordered through AT&T and have not yet received a shipment notice - or have dates that still reflect October, should probably cancel and either go to the store in the morning - or order with Apple, as they get their people the product first.
I'm still stuck at 10/13 - 10/22, and I'm seriously considering canceling.
Oh, and AT&T stated that anyone with October dates - they are actually correct, whereas anyone who's dates were flip-flopping were actually incorrect and prejudged.

There is finally hope...
Was about to post on here how I didn't get my tracking number or anything yet... was stuck at Preparing to Ship - Dates 9/17-9/18 - iPhone 6 - 64GB Space Grey ...
but just now as of 9:00 a.m. (EST) finally got tracking info (FedEx) and the phone is picked up from Fort Worth, TX (heading to Central PA) with an estimate delivery tomorrow before 3pm... whew...

Well, I mean, they're contractually obligated NOT to ship it to you until Friday. Not lazy, just doing their job.
Well I'm sure it did, however the tracking info showed it starting in Memphis on 9/15.
An order that is *really* messed up
So I was one of those people who preordered through premier and then got my preorder canceled (reason said I wasn't eligible, which is wrong). However, when I do the check order status using my wireless number and zip code, it shows my preorder as preparing for shipping 10/2-10/13. I can also see when I check my upgrade eligibility that I am no longer eligible because I have the outstanding balance of the iPhone 6 (I chose installment plan).
Anybody else experienced this? Not only am I unsure if I'm going to receive a phone on Friday, I'm unsure if my order is even an order!
BTW, my preorder was for a 6 plus 128GB space gray. It was placed on 9/11 at 11:54PM PST.

Wow. I did not expect this. I don't have a speech prepared. um, to my fellow early adopters this thread has a 175 pages and your dedication is an inspiration. I accept this phone for all of us... but its going to live in my pocket.

Mine changed from those dates, then to a November date, then back to your date, then just now received my tracking number for tomorrow
I don't think there are any 6+ phones with carriers nor have there been any. I think apple hit some sort of production snag in the last month, delaying the 6+. Obviously during the keynote they did not want to dissapoint the investors and see their shares go down so they said phones will ship on 19th, which is true just not 6+.

Don't know how to PM, but I'm from Rockford, IL. Ordered my gold 16gb iPhone 6 on 9/15, and got a tracking number for delivery for tomorrow, (Friday)!!

My point was that standard overnight has a 3p delivery time, they extended the delivery window to 8p. No real need other than to ease their workload as the phone is right around the corner so to speak.
Not about the Friday delivery as much as them extending the window.
I ordered 2 64 GB 6+ at 12:02 AM PDT, had 10/2-10/13 dates since 12:56 AM last friday, and received tracking info yesterday afternoon. I was prepared to wait until early October, but it turns out there was no reason. Also, Fedex has had my phones since Monday afternoon (they were staging in Fort Worth, TX), and the shipping info was only sent to FedEx this morning. This means that it will not show up for you in Delivery Manager until they have your name and address attached to the shipment. Good luck.
atleast you know its coming....just relax...some of us are still in limbo....and you complaining about a 5 hour window of delivery time..smh
