I've received the same crap email from ATT. Order the same 6+ SG at 11:46 and confirmation received at 12:04. Frustrating as hell.
I haven't gotten this second email everyone is getting saying "Your phone is still shipping..." Also, the charges are still dropped from my credit card. Looks like launch day is a bust. I'm not sure NOT getting an email is good either. I'd rather them at least guarantee me the 10/2-10/13. By not getting an email it could mean it would take even longer to ship.

Ordered 9/12 6AM received status update of Action Required at 5PM same day
Called Premier CS on 9/15 got everything complete and said that I wouldn't lose my place in line. Status went to pending with an expected ship date of 10/14-11/4
On 9/17 Status changed to preorder processing with an expected ship date of 9/17-9/18
Today status updated to shipped and received Fedex tracking number
(2) things to note: I never received an email or text from AT&T giving a status update and The Premier website is not as accurate as checking your status with MY AT&T. My AT&T shows that the phone has shipped 9/18 with tracking number while the Premier site still shows the status as Preorder Processing with and expected ship date of "pending confirmation".

I think most of us have been moved back to that time. Just giving themselves lee-way.
I ordered a 128 space gray 6. Order went in on 9/12 at 4:09 AM EST and despite confirmation email that same say mentioning a 9/19 arrival, it didn't process till 9/16. My ship date is 10/15-11/4 which I find random as no one else has mentioned that time frame. My card which initially, had a $1 hold now has a hold on the full amount of the phone over the last 2 days.
I'm holding out slight hope that my phone is gonna go out on FedEx and reach me tomorrow although I have nothing to base that on. Does the UPS tracking trick work for FedEx too?

I went into the AT&T Store around 11:30 on 9/12 since I fell asleep waiting to preorder early that morning. I ordered an iPhone 6 64GB SG and it says that it will be delivered by 8PM tomorrow, 9/19.
The email I received from AT&T promptly after placing the order at the store said that I should expect to receive the phone sometime between 10/13 - 10/31, so clearly that's not the case - and I'm okay with that!

I was in a similar boat but my order on the site was listed as "pending confirmation" on the ship dates. I called Premier myself on 9/16 and reprocessed the order that day and I've since had similar ship dates to you. You're post gives me some hope though!
No. I am headed out of town tomorrow afternoon and literally cannot wait around till 8 PM.
I'm curious for the people that got an email stating their phones will ship in October. have you tried the number 866 391 0749 to check your order? does it say your item has shipped?

I called on my premier order placed on 9/12 10:44am for a 64 gold + in store. He advised that 10/31-11/11 was the date range it still showed. He strongly advised against canceling the order as he was confident that it would ship sooner. He also said none of the dates will be realistic until tomorrow when the phone comes out and the system can actually determine what the available inventory is. At that time new email ship dates should go out.
So now I have to debate standing in line first thing or waiting for the email that should come with a new shipping estimate. Which will probably be better, but who knows.

if you're worried about it, tell fedex to hold it and deliver it when you come back. it will just free up space for someone who does want their phone friday and can wait all day.

News Flash: you don't have to be jerk. I asked a simple question. Just because you can sit around all day tomorrow doesn't mean you get rights to be ridiculous about those who can't.
Wow, same thing happened to me! My order is still in pending shipping with a date of 9/17-9/18. Hopefully it works out for us!
How about you read a little before you start making assumptions. I work till 3 and want to get out of town by 4. What's so wrong about that? Geesh people on egg shells over here.

I'm so glad I read this email before I received mine. Once I saw an AT&T email in my inbox I figured it was the same and did not get me hopes up.. It was the same bs email.

That's a shame. I got the email last night around 8:45 CST with a tracking number stating that it had shipped and is expected to be delivered by 3 PM on 9/19 (updated this morning to 8 PM).
