One point I'd like to remind everyone

Whether you get the phone on time or not, don't blame AT&T completely. They are between a rock and a hard place with inventory. It's Apple that decides how many iphones of each spec AT&T gets and how long you wait. AT&T is really the middle man here. Believe me, I don't love AT&T. They suck in a lot of ways, as do all the carriers IMO. But it is still an important point to understand before you start taking heads off when you call the reps, who are just doing their jobs.
 
There should be a tracking number listed with each phone


The email I got only has the one Phone listed. I haven't gotten an email for the Gold 128. But when I go to AT&T website and check "My Orders", it says both have shipped.

Edit: Just checked AT&T site again. Looks like one is shipping UPS and the other is shipping Fed-Ex. Strange.
 
Hold at Fedex Location?

Hey guys

My phone is at a nearby fedex location but the delivery time is still tomorrow @ 3pm.

I have the 'Hold at fedex location' option though. Does this mean I can make them hold it and pick it up today...or tomorrow?
 
The mystery cancel pre order button is back on the premier site. AT&T is trying to make this fun experience !

I ordered two phones, one has shipped for delivery tomorrow, the other has a ship date of 10/2-10/13. Both have the cancel button. I honestly don't think it means anything because it would be hard to cancel an order that is on a truck for delivery.

Tomorrow, like been stated before you might possibly get some very new or naieve employee who will let you get it early, but they are basically trying to hold them all and get them out tomorrow. A few will probably show up tonight by mistake, but in general it'll be tomorrow
 
Will Not Arrive on 9/19

I too have seen the return of the "cancel button". Premier Customer Site @ AT&T. Ordered at 3:05AM on 9/12 EST. Have watched shipping dates go from 2- 3 weeks to Late November to now a consistent 10/2-10/13. I'm going to wait it out....and if my need for having a new toy on 9/19 overwhelms me...I'll be in line tomorrow like everyone else...feel I can probably get a 6 on one of my other lines with no trouble...


Have been unable to get any response from calling AT&T. Stopped at my local AT&T store. Very helpful. They can cancel an order for a Premier customer up until the item is "packed for shipment". They took a look at my order and it has not been packed. Again, 6+ 128 gb ordered 9/12 @ 3:05AM EST. So, I can go in at the crack of dawn tomorrow to see if they get any stock for the 6+. The store is doubtful they will get more than half a dozen.

And...just got off the phone with a call from Customer Service in respond to a survey they sent me via Text yesterday. Needless to say the survey was negative. During our conversation she stated my dates for shipping are correct, 10/2 to 10/13. Ships via 2 day. No signature will be required by AT&T. The latest I should receive is 10/15. She also indicated that it is possible for it to ship earlier.

Now that I know, I can just wait...
 
Ordered 9:30am on the 12th from the AT&T Corp Store. Shipped Fedex this morning for delivery tomorrow!

Very interesting! Looks like they are pulling stock from different warehouses to fulfill the same order.
 
So on a side note, got an e-mail from AT&T also stating that they are raising rates even though I had absolutely NO change to my plans (2year contract).. Something like extra $50/month. really? AT&T sucks!!:mad::mad::mad:

Same here - AFTER the lady with customer service said nothing would change when I called to ask about doing a shared upgrade to transfer the upgrade from one phone on my plan to my main phone.
 
Called 4 AT&T local stores, all said none will be getting any 6+'s and regular 6"s will be very limited like 10-15 per store. I asked if there were lines, 2 had lines already... shame.. Apple has failed again.
 
Just got a text from AT&T and checked the order status. Mine, 6+ 64Gb Gold, will be here on Friday. According to FedEx it shipped on Monday out of Fort Worth. Earlier today I had checked the AT&T order status and it showed a ship date of 10/3 to 10/12. I ordered mine about 3:05a Eastern.

How is this possible when I ordered the same exact phone at 11:50 pm PST (09/11/14), 15 whole minutes earlier than you did? ATT wtf is going on!??!?!?:mad:

Kinda hoping my local UPS gets my IP6 today, as it's scheduled to be there today. I have pick up instead of delivery so you better I'll be trying my damnest to get that 1.3 pound package.
 
I'm curious for the people that got an email stating their phones will ship in October. have you tried the number 866 391 0749 to check your order? does it say your item has shipped?

Mine does. but i also haven't gotten the dreaded email yet.

I got the email saying my order will ship in Oct, however when I called this number it said the order was sent to the warhouse for shipping and cannot be canceled at this time.

Is this a good sign that I may still get my phone tomorrow if I can't cancel it?
 
So my iPhone has shipped and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow by 8pm. However, my card hasn't been charged. Anyone else in a similar scenario?
 
Someone is at fault here; either AT&T or Apple for not having any 6+ phones available to deliver tomorrow. Then what is the point of all of us getting up in the middle of the night to order??!! Agrivating! Anyway, I ordered the 6 and 6+, 6 has tracking information to be delivered tomorrow, 6+ has dates for 10/2-13.. However I noticed on the 6 tracking that I do have, the weight is 2 lbs... Seems rather heavy for just the iPhone 6. Do you think they shipped both phones in one box?


There's no fault here...why should there be? You get up early to preorder your phone so you don't have to stand in line. Consider online ordering separate from the b&m...you may get it faster waiting several hours in line and you may not. At least you're guaranteed to receive it when you order online at some point. I don't mind waiting in line as it's a great way to socialize about the release (this is my first year preordering as I've camped out for my other iPhones).
 
I'm pretty disappointed.

I ordered at 1:58 CDT (a few minutes before pre-orders were supposed to go live) and my confirmation email that came about 20 minutes later said 14-21 days.

I got a 6+ 64GB Space Gray. I have not seen any posts from anyone who ordered this combination through the AT&T website that have said they are scheduled to deliver on 9/19.

Did anyone with that combination who ordered super early get a 9/19 date and not the 14-21 days (or worse).

I'm still hopeful I will get it on launch day.


Ordered the same thing from At&t about 3 am got a text message saying Congratulations your order has been processed we will notify your when your order has shipped, went on to the At&t website and say a shipping date of 11/9-11/27 extremely confused considering that is the timeline it is saying if i were to order today
 
ATT wouldn't waive the $40 fee... so now I got to find the right channels. I know they can do it if people here have done it and I've done it in the past.
 
So, this morning I checked my bank account and AT&T has returned the $69.71 for the Silver 64GB iPhone 6 Plus. There was a hold on that amount and said "processing" in my account since Monday 9/15. I checked my order status and the shipping date is still 10/13-10/22. I suppose no iPhone 6 Plus is coming tomorrow. I preordered Friday 9/12 at 1:31 AM. I wouldn't mind so much but I did trade in my iPhone 5 last week on Thursday to upgrade to AT&T Next 18. I need a phone now. Anyone in the same situation with the iPhone 6 Plus silver 64GB?
 
For those of you with October ship dates STILL and have NOT received any tracking information:

When you click on upgrade status, does it say "ends September 12, 2016"?

For a long time, mine had never really updated the dates.

Did anyone else compare and check this over the last couple days until now? And what does your date say now?

Note: It only gives me this information when I check upgrade status through the AT&T app.


My dates changed as soon as my order was processed. Since my originally shipping dates was in late oct/early November, I called and asked if my phone arrives after 10/12 (my contract end date) would they credit me as a full upgrade rather than the additional fee for early upgrade - answer: yes.
 
Since a local AT&T store can cancel a Premier order and I have two other lines I can use for an upgrade I plan to go to the Apple Store tomorrow morning bright and early. If I get a 128gb (or 64gb since either will work but I prefer 128gb) + Silver then I'll stop by AT&T afterwards and cancel my original order. If i don't get one tomorrow then I'll leave my original order as is and wait.
