Those people waiting at the end of the line are insane. I'd just go home. NO WAY they have that many phones in stock.
Whoa, my confirmation email looks nothing like that. Wonder if that's because mine is a premiere order. Is yours premiere?
I think Apple will hand out tickets in the morning, so those who don't get tickets will know they won't get a phone and can leave.
Does anyone know where you can enter your confirmation # beginning with a K? It doesn't seem to work when I try it online for Order # or Confirmation #, but it was given to me by a Premier rep last night.
One question: did you receive that early morning email some of us did reiterating the 10/2-10/13 window and *then* receive shipment notification anyway?

I ordered about 6pm on 9/12. Ordered a 6 for my wife and a 6+ for me. The 6 is delivering tomorrow surprisingly. My 6+ showed a delivery date of late Nov. and has not changed. I chatted with ATT support hoping it might be sooner (I know, I know) and was told it should ship Oct 30th. At this point am I better to cancel and order through Apple instead since they show Oct. delivery dates?
You have a great attitude! Saving $150 bucks is totally worth the wait. Besides, what choice do we have? I just posted a YouTube video of the line at one of the Apple stores in NYC, it is over 2 blocks long and growing, and those streets are longer than normal blocks.
This would make it difficult to believe that any preorders from the early morning hours would be unfulfilled. I hope so anyway, since I couldn't get mine completed until 4:30am and didn't get confirmation emails until after 8.

got first confirmation. then got "you will receive your phone on the 19th" email about 9am
no movement at all
last night late I get the email about my plan changing.
woke up this morning to see I got a text with my tracking info. checked the att page and finally says shipped with ups tracking.
for what it's worth. nothing still shows up in ups my choice.
also my shipping says 1.6 pounds. I thought the shipping weight was less than a pound? #

Wow, I ordered my dad's 16GB Space Grey iPhone 6 on 9/15 and it said it wasn't shipping until mid October but it shipped out today for delivery tomorrow.
As far as I know, you can't cancel an AT&T order, only return it once you receive it.
The problem is, ATT shows that exact ship date on a 6+ if ordered today. So there is now way that's accurate. its either gonna be earlier or later. Who knows.
Great, so they will have camped out for 2 days for nothing! Guess those SOL can plan their Christmas gifts early!
The only email I received was immediately after placing the order (called it in since I tried to do it online and iPhones did not show on my account). Lady I was speaking to said it would be 28-35 days.
No updates or emails (or SMS like others have got) of any kind. As of noon today it was still 10/13-22 timeframe.
Got the dreaded order status email 30 min ago stating 10/13-10/31 delivery (same since ordered in store 11:30amET 9/12). Went to myATT to check order status and it now says "shipped" (YAY!) but no tracking number (BOO!). Went onto chat, and agent said since I ordered in store and did ship-to-store, no tracking number will show up, but my iPhone 6 64GB SG will be available for pickup in store tomorrow. Don't know if I believe her, but here's hoping so.

Not true. Numerous CS reps have told me that we can absolutely cancel the orders for the pre-order, as long as it has not been put on a truck or packaged up. Also, they also said that as of yesterday, all cancellations are immediately applied, as well as your upgrades.
That is kind of what I thought. I don't want to loose the chance of an early delivery but also don't want to wait 2 months.

Just talked to local UPS guy who delivered to local AT&T corporate store and he said they only got 8 boxes with 10 phones in each. AND he said that after talking to a couple of the employees there, he thinks those are actually already sold. Glad I preordered through Apple.
Ya, I don't have that option in my account. I think you only do through Premier? I wish I would have just ordered through Apple to begin with.
