AT&T Pre-order status

Let me know if you successfully canceled your order at AT&T, and if you initially bought it using their NEXT program. Those folks seem to be able to cancel at will while 2yr upgrade peeps cannot cancel.

I just cancelled the preorder through one of their representatives. I was chatting with one.

Fedex mostly I believe. When I order phones for users at work, it's 98% of the time from Fedex when I order with ATT online. Even when I order phones through sales reps over email or the phone it comes Fedex. I rarely ever comes UPS. The times it has come through UPS I ordered through a sales rep that was taking over for our main rep. It came in a UPS padded envelope and handwriting on the box. Where as the others were in a box with printed labels. They were obviously different cases when they came UPS.

You can try signing up for UPS MyChoice (http://www.ups.com/mychoice/). I did this a few years ago and you'll get notified whenever there's any shipment scheduled for your address. That's how I found out about one if my iPhone 6 orders even though AT&T still shows it as "pending"

This had happened to me 2 years ago when I preordered my iPhone 5.....the shipping date that was shown originally with my order thru the at&t website wasn't even close to when I should be receiving it....throughout the coming week my ship date kept changing day by day to the actual launch date......don't get pissed that verizon is already getting tracking numbers....just give at&t a chance to catch up on their orders and our shipping dates and tracking numbers will arrive within the next couple of days......no need to worry.

All I know is ATT web order infrastructure doesn't seemed to have improved since at least the iPhone 4 was released. Pretty sad.

My AT&T Order is pending with a shipping date of 9/17-9/18.

My 3GS & IP5 were delivered on schedule, so I do expect this one to deliver on time as well.

How many people are like me and have a 6+ with a shipping range of 10/2-10/13? It seems like most people I see have the 10/13-10/22 range. Here's my order:

No worries! You never know on a huge launch like this...companies will use whatever carrier they can. Here's my UPS info.

Either way I know I'm spending the extra for UPS MyChoice or Fedex Delivery Manager. It's so worth it for these kinds of packages.
 
I pre-ordered on AT&T at 1:30am on release night. It now shows:
Preorder Processing
Expected Ship Date: 10/31/2014 To 11/11/2014

So, do I cancel this and goto the apple store?
Do you think this date will update to September, once they actually start shipping?

I'm guessing this is for the iPhone 16GB Gold. I ordered 3 (see my previous posts on which ones) and this is the only one who's estimated delivery is 9/19. Guess I'll find out when/if AT&T updates their site with shipping info.
 
I got a text yesterday reading this:
AT&T FREE MSG: [Name] Congratulations! We have processed your order [order number] and it has been sent to our warehouse for shipment. You will be notified when your order ships. Go to < www.att.com/wirelessorderstatus> to check order status.
I only got one text (I know some got two) and mine has the order number in the text (while I've seen others got a shorter version of this text). Not sure if that means anything, but it's kind of weird AT&T is sending two versions of this text out and in some cases, twice.
 
I upgraded 1 line with AT&T & one with Apple.

The Apple order is already showing as Preparing for Shipment. The AT&T order is still at Preorder Processing, with an expected shipping date of 09/17/2014 To 09/18/2014.

6 with AT&T, 6 Plus with Apple. Both 128GB, Silver.
 
Ordered a 128GB Space Gray iPhone 6 Plus for AT&T at 3:59 AM EST on 9/12 via the Apple Store app for iPad.

Told me available to ship in 7-10 business days with October 1-6 as my ETA. :confused:
 
I ordered on launch day at 12:02 PST....checked my order today and it says 09/13/2014 order date and shipping date of 11/09/14 - 11/27/14*..wtf happened? I am a AT&T premier account person i see a lot had orders cancelled. I guess I'll see if I can get one on launch day by going to AT&T store... silver plus 16gb

Weird I got, "Congradulations! Your order has been processed. You will be notified when your order has shipped." And that's it, did you get this message before the one you just got? Looks like your ahead of me :/
