Stupid question from me. I've never ordered through AT&T.

Called a rep, and the ship date is confirmed as 9/17-9/18. The rep confirmed delivery to be 9/19. They really overnight these things?

This is the kind of stuff that pisses me off, no offense. I stay up... order within the first hour.. and get pushed back almost 2 months yet people who order a whole day plus after get same month delivery...

you order the 6 or the 6+

give them some time til Monday and hope to see some accurate ship date instead of these BS ship dates.

Probably not...they've go warehouses scattered throughout the country. Shouldn't take more than 2 days to deliver to an address anywhere in the US for most people.

Okay. Yeah, it's not really overnight shipping. I would assume there's some giant warehouse behind a Whataburger in Dallas somewhere where they keep all the phones.

Pretty sure they ship them out like monday-tuesday but they're not allowed to deliver them until friday.

Especially here in Texas.

Both UPS and FedEx have decently sized hubs in the DFW area.

1. My order was confirmed by email from AT&T for a 64GB 6 Plus Space Grey at 12:43am on 9/12.
2. I received my second email at 2:34am on 9/12 that order was process of being fulfilled. Table showed shipping range of 10/13-10/22.
3. Confirmed that my CC was charged on 9/12.

So if I decide to line up at a store to buy, would I have a chance to cancel the order at the store and buy it there on 9/19? :)

At the AT&T store, this is possible. At the Apple store, you will be denied an upgrade and have to buy full price.

I am also furious I placed the order on the AT&T site as soon as the ordering opened up for a iPhone 6 64GB Space Gray. Currently the order status shows shipping 9/23 - 10/2 which I find unacceptable. Why the hell did I wake up so early for? What we all need to do is contact AT&T via phone or Chat (chat seems to be mostly unavailable because I guess they are getting flooded) and complaint about this and ask for something in return (be it service credit, etc). Crying about it here isn't going to get us anything. I would have preferred placing the order on the Apple site but the store was offline unfortunately.

It only shows that date because your order hasn't been assigned an actual phone yet!!... its not going to stay there..... You will get the phone on the 19th... don't get all angry.

Placed my order for the iPhone 6, 64GB in SG very quickly after 3am while most were still stuck on the placeholder screen. Received an email later that afternoon confirming everything was good, estimating delivery on the 19th.

Received a text today saying congrats, my order was processed. Checked the status, estimated delivery is now at Sept 23-Oct 2. I'm hoping the only other email or text I get is "your iPhone has shipped!", otherwise anything else might mean that it slipped out further.

if you decided to do that...just call att and cancel the order...but you will probably have a shipping notification before you go stand in line and waste your time... but if you don't cancel..the upgrade eligibility is immediately reversed.. and you will be able to get phone in person

You probably got the 6+ and he went with regular 6. Big difference in stock for those 2 models.

I'm not eligible for an upgrade and I'm paying full price since it's only been 11 months since I bought my 5S. So I should be good then?

Yep, I receive a company discount.

I assume there's no shipping advantage through premier?

Not to my knowledge. Though this is my first preorder through AT&T. Previous pre orders I did were through Best Buy and Radio Shack. Had to do it online this year because of the way I am upgrading.

How many people are like me and have a 6+ with a shipping range of 10/2-10/13? It seems like most people I see have the 10/13-10/22 range. Here's my order:

Same shipping date range for me. 6+ 64GB Gold. Ordered at 1:56 CDT. I got confirmation email at 1:56 CDT and processing email at 2:19 CDT.

How are your dates showing later than for me?

I had the email confirmation at 3:59am CDT and am showing 10/31-11/11 shipping dates.

Actually I lied confirmation was received 3:11:03 AM EST. I'm not sure how ATT is doing this, but other people are claiming that AT&T is proccessing premier customers completely out of order. It seems like I was not added to line till like 9:20am when they texted me the congratulations message.

Its ****ed up. I will be going to my local AT&T which normally has a small line of 5 people and takes weeks to run out of high end new released iPhones. If they can't accommodate me. Then I think I will take Verizon, or Sprints offers.

Not to be a smartass, but why would you even preorder if you could just do this?

My credit card was charged $435 already for the iphone 6+ 64GB. They stated clearly that my card WOULDN'T be charge until the order was ready to ship. Yet my ship date is 10/13-10/22. If they really charge me a FULL MONTH in advance for the phone I'm going to cancel my service because they voided their own contract. PERIOD.

If anyone is like me, pre-order because we assumed that it would arrive to our homes on 9/19. You never know what you'll get heading to the store.

You were charged or there was a hold placed?
