AT&T Pre-order status

I ordered 3 IP+ 128GB early afternoon on the 12th.

2 had a ship date between Oct 31 - Nov 11.
1 had a ship date between Nov 9 - Nov 27.

FEDEX just dropped off the first 2!!!!

I don't have tracking numbers for the other one. I really hope I get a surprise when the UPS truck comes along, usually around 1pm.

The one remaining one is actually mine... the other two are for someone else. :mad:

was your credit card charged before they arrived?
 
Yea no update whatsoever. My date never changed and always said preparing to ship. Also, haven't gotten no email or text from att yet telling me my iPhone is shipped. Only email I just got was a few mins ago is from Fedex home manager. So just keep checking!

i just applied for the fedex account manager. lol will they still send me an e-mail even if the package is on it's way already? or do i have to contact them?
 
just received my 64 6 space grey! Fedex did take a little longer than usual but its only 2pm.
After holding it I'm so happy i went with the 6 its plenty big.
 
Premire 6+ people got shafted this year. Im in the same boat and I am very disappointed in this service. It seems like the 10/2-10/13 dates stand. No one from premier has reported a delivery of a 6+. Hope has now left me. Worst part is my 4s broke last night son now I have no phone. oh well...i guess

Same here... ordered 10 mins before the preorder midnight madness... iphone 6+ 64gb gold... called premiere yesterday, asked them why people who ordered much later than me got a tracking number already and I havent. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

This hasn't worked for me so far. Ordered online on the 12th, and they didn't process my order until the 17th so it was pretty much like I ordered on the 17th. My iphone is stuck in the "Preorder Processing" limbo. They can't free up my phone number for an upgrade until they cancel the preorder. No one at ATT can figure out how to cancel it. I have an iPhone waiting at the store for me if ATT can figure out how to cancel the preorder. Spent 2 hours at the ATT store and an hour on the phone with ATT and haven't resolved it.

Now I don't even know if ATT is going to cancel the preorder. So I might not get my preordered phone or the in store phone. I might just be at the back of the line.
 
No phone in my hands and no status updates to speak of yet. UPS usually gets to my neighborhood around 5:30pm, so there's a still a chance, but I'm not holding my breath. :mad:

Order status states, "Preparing to Ship: Shipping Date: 10/02/14 - 10/13/14".

My sisters iPhone 6 + 16GB White was just deliver, she had a shipping date of 10/2-10/13 she got her tracking # on tuesday morning.
 
That is insane.

I tried canceling my preorder but it got denied. I will try again and will go try my luck at the Apple store. What do you think?

My wife went to the AT&T store and they apparently didn't get any. I'm just gonna wait even if I'd prefer to have it sooner. Things can get complicated, I made some changes to my plan tighted to the purchase of the phones.

I'd recommend you to go to stores and ask if they have it, then call At&t and ask if you can cancel.
 
I've been pretty patient with this whole thing, but when I go to the Apple site and try to order the same phone I pre-ordered (iP6 Plus, 128 Gold), Apple says 3-4 weeks. My Pre-order date is 4-6 weeks (31 Oct-11 Nov). I'm headed down to my "Low Level" AT&T store to most likely cancel my order and then shlep over to the Apple Store to order.
make sure you're not a premier customer when you do. apple doesn't take premier orders for some reason
 
Anyone else think part of this problem is Apple has WAY too many SKUs now?

Rewind 2 years ago and you had the iPhone 5 and 4s with 2 color options and 3 sizes. Total of 12 options, maybe 14 if the 4 was still available in 2 colors and only 1 size option.

Today?

iPhone 6+ = 9 options
iPhone 6 = 9 options
iPhone 5s = 6 options
iPhone 5c = 5 options

Total of 29 options.
 
Premier Order Issue

AT&T really can be a joke sometimes. I ordered my 6+ 16GB on Monday, knowing it had a ship date of 11/9-11/27 (which hopefully moves up).

Their system told me I had 5 months left on my previous Next agreement that I had to pay before I could do one of their "trade-in upgrades." I paid the amount due and then proceeded through the prompts to place my order. All seemed well until this morning (4 days later!) when I got an email from them telling me that I had an outstanding balance and that unless I got that taken care of my order would be canceled. I checked my account - $0 balance.

I was on the phone with an extremely helpful Premier rep for over 45 minutes while she undid the previous order and rebooked it. Long story short - even though I had now paid up my 12 months of Next payments needed to upgrade, the system still said "oh he has the 20 month plan and he owes us for 8 more months) - which flagged the order and kicked it out. She had to go in and manually override it.

The rep said this was the 4th one of these she had dealt with this morning. She kept referencing their system called "Phoenix" and said that it was old, antiquated and slow and was always causing issues.

Bottom line - she finally got me taken care of - I now am in "prepared to ship" status but the date is still showing 11/9-11/27. I asked if there's anyway that could be moved up for my hassle (haha) and she said no, that that's the date they have been seeing for all 6+ orders since earlier this week.
 
This was my first preorder experience, and while I have been patient all week with the lack of information, long waits to reach an ATT rep over the phone, losing basically a week of my normal life trying to figure out the "status", of my order, I finally got a REAL ANSWER about my iPhone 6+ status (ordered 3:40am EST)... My order HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED SINCE 9/12!!! NO ONE HAS EVEN LOOKED AT MY ORDER!!! :( I found this out by asking if I could still cancel my preorder, because I figured that would be the best way to get the TRUTH about my order, so guess what? I'm now at my local ATT store picking up a 6 silver 128GB, and they are SO ORGANIZED here!! There are only 3 people ahead of me, they give you a ticket at the door for the phone you want (only catch is you can't change your mind once you get inside, LOL), they have ample stock of the 6 of course no 6+, but this experience is a blessing in disguise, because from what I see about the 6+, it is even bigger than my current Note 3 (which is already pushing the size limit for me,), it feels VERY AWKWARD to hold, and I've seen drop tests of the 6 and 6+ and the 6+ breaks ON THE FIRST DROP, while the 6 took like 3 tries!! And it only cracked, didn't break completely! So ATT has given me a HORRIBLE preorder experience, but the in-store feels great, we are sitting outside in the sun with our tickets for our phones, and that's that. I am beyond appalled at how much time ATT made me waste with the preorder. I know most of you got your phones and that's awesome, but for anyone who hasn't, think about your local store. I waited for a total of 4 MINUTES, and am now sitting inside comfortably getting my phone and discounted iPad mini, it is a pleasure to be in the store, and as you may have already guessed, I will NEVER preorder with ATT again.

I think if its on the way, it should already show up but I'm not sure. I just got an email from att also. (About time lol)
 
Me too. OFD 5 hours for me and I'd like to get out of the house b4 8 this evening.:p I wish I knew a signature wasn't required like in the past. A few have posted it wasn't required

Heads up my FEDEX order was just left at door. No signature. So can comfirm. Now to sit and wait till 3:30 here to go home!!
 
ordered my phone on 9/11 at 11:58. got the iphone 6 plus 64g Space Gray. order status still states "Preparing to Ship" 10/2 - 10/13. I went directly through ATT and i am really starting to rethink this.

Has anyone ordered a 6 Plus space gray through ATT?
 
I definitely think the 10/2 - 10/13 stands. It's odd though I believe someone got their 128 + models and they had a later date....or maybe it was the regular 6. Not sure but there's so many planes coming in daily with phones so I'm sure we'll all get ours soon...hopefully :p
