I'd double-check the pending charge next week. In theory, it's likely a pre-auth charge that will drop in ~3 days.

Depending on what you've signed up for as a plan, ATT isn't charging for the device until inventory is available for your pre-order.

Example: Our Next pre-orders at 2:55am and 2:59am ET 9/12 for 6+ 128 SG had pending charges for sales tax, but were then dropped, as we're still waiting for shipment.

My account hasn't yet charged and it shipped yesterday.

Not really sure what that's about, except that a tracking number in hand is definitely a highly-coveted piece of data around here :)
 
As far as I know, two factors are playing here for most of us who have a delay.

1) you're premier
2) you're either SG or 64/128gb

I'm sad.
 
Premier customer here, ordered within 5 mins of launch and didnt hear anything as of this morning. Decided to cancel and about 8pm the same exact model was avail for pickup at the apple store near me and i could only reserve with the 2 year pricing for $649. I am picking it up tomorrow, but wanted to know if it's been confirmed with anyone here that i can pick it up tomorrow and work with the apple employees to transfer it to the next program? I heard it can be processed as a return and then switched to the next program , it just takes the rep to jump through some hoops. If this is true, what a waste of time it was pre-ordering in the middle of the night to only find out i can pre-order through apple and pick it up the same day (given one gets lucky and its in stock). Shame on ATT
 
going to assume your not if you don't know. From my understanding you have to get it through a work or business or something. Never heard of it until recently.

I just talked to a CSR and asked about it she said it was a discount from a business or employer
On a different note I had 2 preorders for the 6+ 128 gig gold ,canceled one today but I can't cancel the other cause it's a premier account until Monday. I have ordered 2 6+ 128 gig one SG and one silver ready to pick up tomorrow. Apple wouldn't let me use my line cause I still have that order pending so I just used my wife's number to order both so far so good but I did have to pay full retail price to do it. Good luck to all that have decide to wait I just could take it watching everyone around me getting theirs while I ordered at 1230am pst morning of preorder

I ordered my plus (silver)/64 close to few minutes before midnight on the day of launch via ATT website (while apple store was still down). Chose to upgrade to next. Until yesterday order status showed delivery date as 10/2-10/13. Today I got an email that my order has shipped via fedex. Track# shows I am set to receive it on Monday.

Wf.
 
I ordered a iPhone 6+ Gold 64gb with premiere at 2:30ish am cst on 9/12 and got the 10/13-10/22. On 9/18 it switched to the 10/2-10/13 and stayed that way ever since.

I looked this morning at 8am and saw that they had the same phone available for in-store pick up at a few stores in Chicago/IL. I ordered one and got an email an hour later saying my phone was ready for me to pick up. Went to the store at 2pm and walked right in past the long 50-100 people waiting in line for a phone and talked to the in store pickup guy. Was out the door in 5 min.

The preorder on att won't let me cancel when I click the link. Not sure what will happen since there are no available lines for me to add to my account. Oh well.

I like the phone a lot but let me say this. It IS too big, the 4.7 is too small. The sweet spot would have been about 5"-5.1". Oh well. I will get used to it. Loving it so far though. Just wish there were more cases available. Apple had only they two the made, Target had none, so looks like I am headed to Best Buy to pick through what is left.
 
Nothing has changed with my order that I placed about 1:00 am on 9/12. Still shows 10/2-10/13 and waiting to be shipped. With everyone canceling their preorders, why doesn't ATT bump me up? Ordering through ATT was the biggest joke and I'll make sure I go through only Apple next time.
 
Ordered a 64GB Silver Iphone 6+ at 12:10 AM MT. Updated to 10/02-10/13 last Saturday. Checked today and Fedex has a delivery for Monday. So it won't be much longer guys! I also ordered a 16GB Gold Iphone 6+ that is still processing..
 
Yes I am positive. I just talked to a guy at the century city mall here in Los Angeles and he flat out said yes. Maybe that specialist thinks you mean for ordering online as you can't request a pick up in store with next. but the average Joe who gets their hands on the iPhone they want, can use att next to upgrade.

Dang, was spose to go there this morning coz they had the gold one available but when I checked again after trying to cancel my preorder there's none available ;(
 
Woo! My 6+ was supposed to ship between 10/2 and 10/13 and I got my tracking from Fedex today. Will arrive at work on Monday! It was ordered by work via our premier account.
 
How is that a bad experience? You ordered 5 hours after pre-orders opened and as a result received a later delivery date. Since you're impatient, you cancelled the orders WITHOUT ISSUE. Then you order from Apple with NO ISSUES. Later you change your mind again and cancel your Apple order WITH NO ISSUES. Then you waltz into an ATT store and pick out the models you want and buy them WITH NO ISSUES.

Tell me again why it's a bad experience when you're impatient and can't make up your mind? And as a result of your impatience you have NO ISSUES getting the iPhone 6 even after TWO cancelled orders?!

You know, you're right! At first read, I thought you were a total ass. But, now that I've re-read my post, I can see how you're justified in your post. Simply, I was trying to illustrate how the process I used to get the phones I wanted. Thanks for making your point.

Not sure why ATT has all these numbers, but this one gives what might be a truer result (defined as more closely matching a web status page).

I tired that number and it said the same thing on the order status page. Lol that's weird two different numbers say two different things.

Well, let's see. I went into the store this morning to actually see the phones first hand. Once I saw the difference, and the points my wife made regarding handling of the 6 plus, I agreed with her, and that lead to going with the 6 instead. In the end, like I said, I did what I wanted. And, holding onto my phone TODAY...is pretty cool. Do you have yours yet? :rolleyes:

Am I the only one who got an e-mail from AT&T that basically just tells me "Hey, we are still planning on shipping your phone between 10/2 and 10/13"?
