AT&T Pre-order status

Cancelled my pre-order from ATT (128 SG +) and officially moved my line to T-Mo. Despite ordering 12 hours later, T-Mo got me my phone on launch day. I was on a Premier/FAN account with ATT and even with the 20% discount, I will save $ with T-Mo and with the music streaming deal, won't have to worry about hitting limits on data. Couldn't be happier, finally getting away from sATTan. Now to get the wife's account moved over which is well....complicated.
 
It finally shipped

I've been reading this post for a few days and it has kept me informed and it has made this whole process a lot easier by knowing that I was not alone. Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences.

Here's my story:

I am an AT&T premier customer.

On 9/12/14, I ordered an iPhone 6 plus 64g in silver at 3:20am EST on AT&T's website because Apple's website was down.

Received my first confirmation email at 4:51am thanking me for my order and saying it would ship in 14 to 21 business days.

Received 2nd email at 8:06am saying it would be shipped between October 13-22.

At 8:09pm on 9/12, received a text message saying your order has been processed.

At 11:16am on 9/13, received another text message saying the same thing, your order has been processed.

At some point, I got bumped up to October 2-13.

I did receive that email on 9/18 that stated that they were still delivering my phone between October 2-13, which sealed the deal for no launch day delivery for me.

And on 9/21, I received a text message at 8:08pm saying my phone has shipped.

At that point, I discovered I also received an email at 7:12pm with my tracking number from FedEx.

FedEx says it will be delivered on 9/23 by 3pm. Finally!!

I wish I was in the boat of those who have received their shipping notifications. :( :( :( :(

With the "mass shortage" of phones for the recent release, I know there have been flights with hundreds of thousands of phones coming from china recently - every day, and a few lucky people have been getting phones.

Better stay out of the air during the brigade of planes that will "probably" be flying in the air for the people that "PRE" ordered, with the Oct 02 date!

The sky should be filled with planes with iPhones! Billions of phones will be in the air FINALLY heading to us (or so ATT would like you to believe).

Can't wait for Oct 5th or 6th if I'm lucky to get one of those "billions" of phones "shipped" during that time.

then received 2 text saying order is being processed.
shipping date started at...
10/31-11/11
then
10/13-10/31
then
10/2-10/13

absolutely nothing since then.

I'm seeing a lot of silver and gold being sent the last 2 days. you guys think its team 50 shades of grey's turn to get their's?

Everything you've just said is how it happend for me. I ordered but didn't get my conformation email until a few hours later, and then got the same two texts. My shipping dates changed in the same order yours did. Talk about frusteration!

Same for me, except I got my 10/2-13 dates about 5-6 days ago. I think the grey's are dust in the wind. :(

Same for me. Exactly the same. It seems like the later you pre ordered the sooner you got your phone.
 
Nothing in the Apple store.. I don't even know if it's worth my time to head to the AT&T store.. I don't think they would have gotten any shipments between yesterday and 9am today.

And I'm not so sure about the midnight update thing for apples stock. When I went to sleep... every store.. even ones 10 hours away, didn't have a single 6+ in any size/color.. when I woke up.. they still didn't. I find that hard to believe. I think they update it throughout the day when they get stuff in.

Anybody here still waiting for silver or gold iphone 6+? or is it just the space Grey that are waiting now? I'm growing a few grey hairs myself waiting.

It's every color/size. I'm actually kind of surprised you didn't get yours yet (assuming you ordered around midnight)

Two stores in DC had them - all colors, but only 16GB 6+

Probably, you can call...but you know they might not give inventory over the phone. I call bs. They have them stashed for other people. I just know it
 
Anyone else ordered a 6+ 64GB grey at or around 3am EST that hasn't received their tracking info yet? And stuck on 10/2-13 dates? 877# says it's on backorder.

I'm waiting on a Gold 64GB 6 Plus - had to go through business agent via work so it was ordered day one, but probably not right at midnight sadly
 
Okay, I think we should be compensated for not being honored under the first come first serve basis lol.

I really do hope we receive tracking info today, we have to be next.. I'm refreshing the order status page like a hawk lol.
