What happens if you click the cancel preorder button the premier site. Does it come up and ask you to confirm or is it 1 click cancel? Can I cancel outside of business hours of Premier too like if I find one in the store online for personal pickup?
I attempted to cancel my pre order on Saturday to try my luck at a retail store. it apparent was unsuccessful. When you click the button, they send you an email and you click a link where you out your order number and zip code in. They then send you another email stating whether the preorder was successful or in my case, unsuccessful. I believe if it was unsuccessful then your item has been shipped and your order information is still waiting to update. or it could be because premier is closed on the weekends.

Literally, was just told by this AT&T rep that every version/size/color is available in every AT&T store for pickup right now. At this point.. I ended the conversation. How can they possibly say these kind of things, surely they don't believe that every store has a full stock of every iPhone.

Makes me want to go into the AT&T tomorrow.. I'd be happy and pissed if they had what I ordered!

Haha I was afraid too! Their systems are so messed up though. I called one csr and he told me he couldn't cancel it. I then called someone else a hour later to be sure they couldn't cancel it and she told me it was indeed cancelled so she reset my upgrade egibility manually. This morning, I get an email saying my order was shipped and a tracking number provided. I check my account, and I'm STILL. eligible for an upgrade. Their IT department should all be fired if you asked me. Still wondering how a multi billion dollar company has such a mediocre system haha.
 
I called the 877 number and it says my order is back ordered..wtf does that mean?? I ordered a 16 gb iphone 6 spce grey on the 13th
 
I ordered a 64gb Space Gray 6 Plus today at the AT&T store. The only phone they had available in stock was a 128gb gold 6. My confirmation email said to expect delivery between 10/29 and 11/07.

My wife's 64gb gold plus shipped yesteday.
Ordered that 5 minutes after my sg plus.

Frustrating seeing a sooner ship date than mine, same exact specs, yet I preordered early on 9/12.
 
The CSR's will say anything to get you off the chat without doing anything for you. Mine told me I had not yet been charged $40 activation fee and that the $40 of the $439 for my phone was tax..oh yeah 10% tax? Also said it would be 28-35 days before my phone came...hope that was him being clueless as well. I'm not sure these people know what they are even talking about, and I don't think they care. They have been told to be polite and just appease people with nonsense. I had to talk to 4 of them before I got my $40 upgrade fee waived.

As far as phones being in store I walked into my AT&T store today because I was right there and wanted to see the phones in person (so glad I'm getting a 6+). Asked the employee "got any 6 or 6+" and he laughed and shook his head no. No way the stores have stock right now...if people are getting 3+ week wait times online.
 
I keep checking and the only iphone 6+ within a 100 mile radius of me at an apple store is a 16gb silver.
 
Why not apple ? Or check for store stock ?

Went to store and also talked to AT&T, said they didn't know how to fix it, something about crossmarkets. Had to order through AT&T. Fiancé ordered on same plan and his went through fine btw.

Yep I feel like I've been lied to so far by every CSR I have spoken to.

The guy yesterday was all like "I'm waiting for my phone too...I feel your pain". Oh ok yeah lets be best friends now and I won't care anymore how ****** this has all been handled.

If you want a 6 you should be ok. If you want a 6+ you need a miracle lol.

PER AN APPLE REP!!! - "I am really sorry that the AT&T next is not available at the Apple retail store or for the in store pick up option."


So.. that should clear that up for those who were unsure. Verified this with her supervisor to make sure it was correct.


Funny thing is.. an AT&T MGR told me face to face today that he was 100% Apple could handle these in store.
